anyone find a replay of the Abzan vs Sultai game let me know. I wanna see it
I'm with Lantern on this. I would like to see it too.
Your wish is my order: http://www.twitch.tv/scglive/b/630838935 (starting point is 5:55 in, twitch changed the option, where you can set a starting point, so you have to do it by hand).
EDIT says: someone was faster

What I play or have:
Modern/Legacy
either funpolice (Delver, Deathcloud, UW Control) or the fun decks (especially those ft. Griselbrand)
I went 5-4 in UW Tron. Lost to twin, infect, affinity, and Jeskai Ascendancy. Beat Burn 2x, Little kid Junk, Domain Zoo, and Esper Control. Good enough to finish 189 out of around 762 people. A little sad I didn't make day 2 but that's not a bad record and I'm confident i'm above average when it came to modern play that day.
From Walking around and looking at things there was lots of Twin, Lots of Infect, and lots of Junk. About what you expect I'd guess.
Edit: Also the event was well run aside from a hiccup in round 2. Where the pairings kept getting changed like 4 times. I'm pretty satisfied. I'd go to an open again.
Edit: I'm going to have a relatively detailed report in the UW tron thread in a bit. If you care you should check it out.
I just re-watched the the game between Fabiano (Sultai) vs. Green (Abzan) match. I came away with two thoughts about the games. First, this is exactly the type of matches WOTC wants. Second, we are in need of Tarmogoyf and Damnation reprints lol. Probably the second best game on coverage I've seen this year.

64 players in total for day 2. Abzan at 14 players on day 2. UR Twin at 8 with 4 more Twin decks between RUG, Grixis, and UWR. Burn, Infect, and Jund follow with 3-7 copies each, with decks like Affinity and Bogles at 2 showings on day 2. A more complete metagame breakdown is likely to follow.
So 39% of the field is Abzan and Twin with another 29% being another BGx deck and 3 more non-interactive decks. So it's really not that far off from what most expected.
Pretty standard metagame with Abzan, Twin, Burn and Infect dominating. Affinity notably low.
I appreciate that the coverage is showing other decks though. The metagame is the same we saw at PT FRF and GP Vancouver, but at least we get to watch some other decks.
I commented right before the matchup and that was @4:27 so 10:30 - 4:27 would be ~5 hours in
I think Burn, Twin, Sultai Control, Temur Moon (Blue Moon? Only 9-0?) Jund, Azban are all present.
Not sure if the Amulet made it second day.
