Ugh... Another poor showing for tron. At my LGS's level, it's still a fine deck to play, but I just don't know if people aren't adapting the deck or what. I might start running MD dismembers for removal to take a cue from UTron's removal suite that's been successful.
Given the popularity of blood moon though, it seems to be highly relevant that a lot of the reason to run red is removal and it's really nice for your mana to get fixed.
Also, if the Goyf / Clique are going to be around more, something needs to give. They need to be reprinted again. My LGS is full of T2 decks because no one has access to goyf or clique.
I want to compromise with the lands in front people, lets put them on equal placement with creatures. Lands on the left, other permanents on the right.
As sad as I am to see Reid Duke not make the top 8, I would love to see that "4 Color Control" (UWR flashback Lingering Souls) make the top 8.

Premodern - Trix, RecSur, Enchantress, Reanimator, Elves https://www.facebook.com/groups/PremodernUSA/ Modern - Neobrand, Hogaak Vine, Elves
Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)

Geez, 3 Twin... this isn't doing much for my question of should I buy the Twin's and finish the deck.
It's real good to see BW Tokens make a top 8 though, they've been on the rise lately.
1. A Twin ban does not mean the end of the deck. Kiki Jiki would be an okay substitute (granted it comes down a turn later).
2. Even if Twin is not viable after a ban, most of its cards are played in many other decks in Modern. In fact, you could easily swap out Pestermites and Deciever Exarchs for Delvers and Young Pyromancers and bam, you just built UR Delver.

I have the whole deck aside from the 4 Twins, because like you said most of the cards are used elsewhere, that's how I've gotten them. So a Twin ban is essentially wasted money. Kiki is also quite expensive, I could build the deck using either but can't afford both right now.

Hehe, same here. I have basically all of the pieces except for Twins and Scalding Tarns. I expect Tarns to reprinted in Dragons of Tarkir or Magic Origins. As for Twin, I'm fine with just waiting to see whether it survives the next ban announcement.

in fact, in the old day that was the norm

thats why some old school player still do it.
edit: and flavor wise make more sense, its like the creatures travel to fight other creatures.

either funpolice (Delver, Deathcloud, UW Control) or the fun decks (especially those ft. Griselbrand)
4CC make it to Top 8? I assume Sultai did as well unless he got blown out fast in 2 and 3?

If Twin wins this, the ban speculation will go wild for the next weeks. It will be fun to watch.
Im rooting for Fabiano and his Sultai deck.
Won't complain about Jund or BW Tokens taking this down either.

There is no such thing as solitaire in magic.
