I agree that Thunderbreak Regent looks playable in Modern. It's efficient enough, it flies, and targeting it with removal will hurt. Double Bolting it will hurt way too much, Deceiver Exarch tapping it will blow, Dismembering it for mana and life will hurt a lot, and even Path to Exileing it means you take 3. Bizarrely enough, Splinter Twinning it isn't too shabby--if they kill it in response, they take 3.
...Radiant Purge boots too little again. Multicoloured creatures or enchantments only? For 1W, that's a ripoff.
I love the new Red Dragon! 4/4 for 4 with Flying and a positive effect! Yay larger red decks getting playable cards!
Pros:
Bolt-proof
Decay-proof
IoK-proof
Flying
Aggressive cmc to p/t ratio
Free Lava Spike value if targeted by removal
Cons:
Can't tangle with Goyf/Rhino/Tas (but can try to race them!)
Gets clogged up by Spirit tokens
Homeless; Jund is the only deck that maybe wants this and I think Hellkite is just better
Note: I know that some people don't like IoK/Decay-proof as pros; technically, Chimney Imp fits both those criteria. But obviously, those criteria become a lot better if paired with other awesome advantages and with negligible disadvantages.
Rhino is good because it does something even if it gets removed. This actually has the same kind of trigger unless it faces a Wrath of God. I have some hopes for it.
I figure if Rhino is a 10/10 then Thunderbreak is probably a 7/10 or 8/10. Better evasion and easier colors. If enough Dragons are good it also "protects" the team.
I kinda want to play the new dragon with alpha authority or something attached to give it hexproof and Slumbering Dragon, so that when the opponent targets slumbering dragon with removal, I get to quote 'Never tickle a sleeping dragon'. So janky, but it would totally be living the dream.
Stratus Dancer is clunky when I Morph it (although the flip ability is pretty good), but it's a fine Turn 2 play. Against Abzan/Junk, I countered Lingering Souls with its flip the most often. I haven't tested it against Ad Nauseam or Scapeshift yet, though, and while Scapeshift will probably just start killing every Morph it sees, Ad Nauseam will be pretty scared of it. ...Ah, is Morph with a flip cost of 2 mana or more just too clunky? I pulled it from UR Twin because it was disrupting my everything-has-Flash mojo there...
Thunderbreak Regent is pretty good on the offence, but it doesn't like blocking when Junk Midrange has the edge on the board. Its damage trigger is fairly good, though--although it doesn't discourage removal that well, the Bolt to the head matters surprisingly often. (It still curses Souls's name.)
Sidisi 2.0 suffers from being 5 cmc (so it tends to be too late against combo, it's risky against Twin late-game...), and she's just a 4/6 with Deathtouch around 1/3-2/5 of the time in that deck. Tutoring is pretty fun, though--I stuck in 1 Gideon Jura as a tutor target against midrange, and Gideon tends to take over the game. Also, tutoring for Slaughter Pact is clutch against Twin, and I once tutored for Siege Rhino just to keep on the pressure.
The Sidisi 2.0 Junk deck felt clunky, though--3 5-drops tend to do that to a deck, even when the deck also has 4 mana dorks. Sounds like I might have to pull Gideon and see how well Sidisi tutoring for other stuff swings games.
The problem I have with Sidisi is on turn 5, do you really want to be sacrificing a dude? Same deal, to a lesser degree, with Butcher. I mean if you can easily sac the guy, why play him to begin with, right? I can see utility there but 5 mana is a lot when you're trying to keep mana open to disrupt a combo.
My problem with thunderbreak is the best removal spell in modern doesn't target.(LotV) Further it sits a whole turn looking awesome but does very little. I think thundermaw or even stormbreath are worth the additional 1 mana investment in most instances.

Affinity EDH W Akroma GBW Ghave BRU Thrax GR Ruric I advocate for the elimination of the combo archetype in Modern. I believe it is degenerate and unfun by its very nature and will always limit design space and cause unnecessary bans.
Whenever an opponent casts a spell, put a +1/+1 counter on Sunscorch Regent and you gain 1 life.
4/3
This is a card. I could imagine myself casting this. Wish it were one cheaper, though.
Probably will forget about it ultimately. It's good but not exciting.
That card is sexy, and awesome. I'll play it forever in standard (well... for 2 years). As for modern, I think it could be a 1-of in some grindy decks or sideboard tech.
The dragon is almost there but suffers from the metagame where junk is just better because rhino is just better since it has pseudohaste and cos of the spirit tokens. Junk>jund still.
Stratus Dancer is like izzet said, hard to evaulate... but I'm thinking a delver tempo like deck might want it. you can pay 3 for a 2/2 and beat down with it in that style of deck, then if a bolt targets it, or a different critter, you can fizzle counter it. It protects from some wrath and pyro effects too. After you flip it you get a 3/2 flyer. If your just needing to race, you can just pay 2 and get a 2/1 flyer, which isnt the worst either.
ALSO REBOUND! kiln fiend is happy.
I think Delver wants better spells, not creatures. The creatures (Delver, YP, Snaps) are all good enough. You need better instants/sorceries, not a 2/1 flier that doesn't trigger any of them.
The red and white Regents dodge Bolt, but that's about it. A 4+ mana creature isn't what I'm looking for if I want to pressure aggro/combo decks. Against Abzan they will get chumped by Spirit tokens, then the Abzan player will draw into a removal spell, take the 3 damage, and kill your Dragon.
As exciting Thunderbreak dragon looks Thundermaw Hellkite is still better and I don't see replacing it Thundermaw except occasionally maybe. Considering playing it in Jund doesn't put Jund ahead of Junk. While it could race Rhino it doesn't block with it efficiently which is quite annoying. It's not bad card though.
Play booooooooth! :3
I'm going to make modern dragons so hard. It won't be competitive and I'm 100% fine with that.
In modern creatures with CC of 3 or higher must do something when they ETB or have flash. Otherwise, they have to have obnoxiously good abilities to compensate. That works too.
One of the reasons is that half of the games when you are on turn3, next turn your opponent is on turn4, which is the turn wizards allowed combos to exist.
Ojuta's Command is really interesting. Hilarious value when paired with dead/discarded Snapcaster Mage; counter an enemy Rhino/Tas, draw a card, recur your Snapcaster, get a Bolt effect or something. Or, in the later game, just recur a Command off the Snapcaster. The other Commands are sure to be interesting and likely playable in various Modern decks.
I hope Silumgar's command goes straight into Cruel Control.
Edit: forgot that we also get a red black command as well!

Whille this first one is unfortunately just a bad cryptic (I still like it in standard) it would need a very particular deck although perhaps there is a deck looking for crytpic number 5. *shrug*.
Ojutai's Command...well, unlike Cryptic, it doesn't have three blue mana symbols, so UW Tron can actually cast it.
Most of the time this is just going to be a mini Sphinx's Revelation. Survival Cache or Withstand might be a better comparison . You might be able to nab a creature spell with it (but on turn 4? That's a bit too late). UW decks don't play enough <=2 drops to get back with the first mode, other than Snaps or Wall of Omens. Keep in mind, if you want Snaps to be more than an Ambush Viper, you need an additional amount of mana equal to the spell you're going to flashback. So if you're going to Command -> bring back Snaps -> flashback Path, you need 5 mana total and 2 specific cards in your graveyard.
Overall I think the Command will see little play.
The rest are intro pack rares, I don't need to say more.
I swear guys I think I will cry when the two black Commands are revealed.
Either because they are beyond terrible or because Wizards finally gave them some good cards for a change. I really hope it's the latter...
Please let the latter be true... (They better be Instant speed wizards )

-one of the modes is Glimpse the Unthinkable
-it has a boardwipe mode, but it's just Consume the Meek
Other than that, I do like what Radiant Purge is trying to do. White's looking like it's assuming the role of multicolor hoser these days what with this card and Gatecrash's Renounce the Guilds. Maybe one day they'll be relevant sideboard tools...
