I do not understand the sideboard sea's claim over Aquitect's Will not only does sea's claim die to some cards, aquitect's will can sometimes draw a card anyone care to explain?
Does the in addition clause allow tron to continue to work? Since it doesn't change the name of the card? If so I get it now

Perhaps it's because he also plays Master of Waves, which also adds to devotion for more elemental tokens.

Aquitect's Will makes the land an Island in addition to its other types so it doesn't shut down abilities like Sea's Claim does.
This was like the perfect R/G Tron metagame. GerryT and the Jund players trying to stage a lil comeback only to get slammed by the the quiet boogeyman deck.
If anything, ban summer bloom. The amulet deck is fine if you take out ridiculous turn 2 kills with bloom.
Of course, there's still double amulet into azusa into slam with a huge hasted double striker... But honestly, that's so unlikely... I mean, infect can kill you on turn 2... Ban glistener elf? Really?
Summer Bloom is a busted card influenced by a long gone age of magic. I mean, it's from the same time period as boil and other cards, which would never be printed nowadays.
I think either ban would kill the deck, so it doesn't really matter.

It certainly helped that all the Twin players tried to get cute and play the Jund game too by transforming into Grixis value decks instead of focusing on their combo game. Decks like Amulet Bloom or Tron are just not impressed by that value stuff. Joshua Ravitz actually called it and played 4 Fulminator Mages in his sideboard which is why he probably managed to top 8
Like the Matthias and Cedric said multiple times on camera now. Don't bring those decks to GP Charlotte next week. You will get destroyed by all the hate that people will show up with like Stony Silence, Fulminator Mage, Blood Moon, Ghost Quarter etc. but hey that's the price for playing these kind of decks.

UGH - I was planning to run Tron next weekend and have been busy Top 8ing local tournaments in prep. Dammit - why couldn't they wait a week to blow out this meta?

Gee, not touching MTGO for Modern for at least a few weeks. Tron and Amulet (and the always annoying and popular Burn) will be everywhere. Trying to play fair in this format is extremely frustrating - it's by far the most non-interactive format I ever played in 13 years of Magic =/
So... Would the ruling be different, if Ali didn't have the missing tron piece in his hand all the time?
It possibly could have been. I was really upset how they ruled it, but this is why his opponent should always make sure to check the lands. I have constantly checked my opponents' Tron lands and sometimes they seem surprised. Sorry, but I'm not just going to take your word on it that you have Tron. I think I would be even more careful with a Pro player or popular Grinder... (I know; easy for me to say...)
I think this, coupled with the fact that I respect and like Chris Van Meter as a player, influenced my rooting for CVM and Bloom in the finals. Oh well.
I even caught a Tron player cheating at a GPT. He played a land on his first main phase, then tried to play another during his 2nd main phase. In my opinion (and nothing against honest Tron players), Tron is an easy deck to cheat with because the whole game revolves around land drops. All he got was a warning, but it at least made him consider whether to cheat or not later on in the tournament because the 2nd warning is a Game Loss.
Legacy - Sneak Show, BR Reanimator, Miracles, UW Stoneblade
Premodern - Trix, RecSur, Enchantress, Reanimator, Elves https://www.facebook.com/groups/PremodernUSA/ Modern - Neobrand, Hogaak Vine, Elves

So was Collected Company all hype and no substance?
Seems like a poor showing for Company decks in both the Invitational and the Open - one copy in the top 8 of the Invitational and only one Company deck (Elves) in the Open Top-16.

You shouldn't play mtgo because the prize pay outs are abysmal.

What did you expect? Half of the Top 8 being them? You did notice that stuff like Tron and Amulet Bloom was running around, right?
And many Company decks were skimping on Tron hate. JB Milo didn't have anything against Tron for example in his list besides that Aven Mindcensor. No Stony Silence, no Fulminator Mage yada yada
I was expecting Company to do more than just place 1 deck in each event's top-16. Obviously it's a good deck but not a great one. The hype going into this weekend felt like Company was going to be a runaway star in Modern soon. Maybe we'll have to see how it does at GP Charlotte for a better read on its power.
The reason for the poor results for CoCo is pretty simple. In both events there were a "ton" of RG Tron, Amulet Bloom, Jund and Grixis decks, all match-ups which you don't like as CoCo deck (either they are to fast for you/play bigger creatures (Amulet Bloom/RG Tron) or kill your board without a problem (Jund/Grixis/RG Tron (Pyroclasm says hi)).
For me it was no wonder, that they did so poorly.
@Topic, it was pretty interesting to see so many Grixis decks doing well. Was kinda surprised by this.

The hype going into this weekend felt like Company was going to be a runaway star in Modern soon. Maybe we'll have to see how it does at GP Charlotte for a better read on its power.
The hype was exactly that though; it was just hype. There was a ton of generated online between MTGO, forums (Reddit probably being the most guilty), and all the articles written by pros that don't play much Modern. They spoke of a metagame in which Collected Company decks were the new thing to beat, Delver decks defined Modern, Grixis Delver particularly was the best deck in the format, and Jund dethroned Abzan as the BGx deck of choice.
The actual data we have paints a somewhat different picture. Grixis Delver is firmly tier two, Abzan is still the most popular deck in the format, and its representation has not dropped enough to account for Jund becoming nearly 6% of the metagame. For the moment the dust has settled, things look only marginally different than they did a month or so ago, and Collected Company has not lived up to the hype.
That's not to say it isn't a good deck, but it was not the format-rattling monster everyone was making it out to be. It's important to consider that the deck is still in its infancy so it does stand to get better in time, but one also must consider that as it becomes more of a known quantity its opponents will be much better prepared for it in terms of how they play and sideboard against it. All in all my guess is it's a wash; the deck will end up being another in the somewhat long list of tier 1/1.5 decks that can win a given tournament but without any huge impact on the metagame compared to BGx or Twin.

There's also this, but considering you just named half of the top ten decks in Modern I'm inclined to think this weekend was closer to the rule than the exception.

Sea's Claim also has a small plus for being vulnerable to removal: it gives you 1 more token from Master of Waves.
