It's really bizarre to me that MTG coverage can't figure out this ridiculous 30 minute downtime in between matches. I understand there are logistical hurdles to this, but I can't think of any major sport or e-sport that makes you wait through, effectively, a 30 minute commercial and replay before you get live content. I know they have backup matches in the featured area, and I know those matchups can be over quickly, but coverage (whether SCG or Wizards) really needs contingencies.
EDIT: Like... now we're watching a JESKAI TWIN (??) replay?
Man, I'm helping my wife with the Relay for Life event today, so I have to sneak peaks at the matches throughout today. I'm SO excited to see a breakout Nahiri Jeskai deck, and of course, always excited to see my Jund deck hopefully perform well

Ideally they would film the back up matches and show them between rounds, but that would probably require more commentators so people could still get a break.
While I love that the Nahiri deck crushed it, he WAS playing against a wonky BW Pox brew. Hopefully we get more feature matches with it throughout the weekend.
Now we get to watch a hyper-interactive Grixis Delver and Jund matchup. This weekend rocks.
Absolutely love seeing Grixis Delver (and playing it ), but it's very interesting to see him run full AV playset out of the side. Very cool match so far.
He played good indeed but he had very good draws. Not hard to win if you draw everything you need while your opponent doesn't.
This is very true. A lot of decks like that have the "wrong half" syndrome, where you simply draw irrelevant cards half the game (like how he started out game 2).
@Ayiluss - That can be said for any deck and any player. Also, Grixis Delver has a better match-up with Jund more than the other variants because of the removal sweet.
@Kitkenshinx - That match up speaks to my heart. So interactive and so much fun.

It is understandsble to draw more of what you need when your deck actually has more cards that swing the game. Jund does not have not enough card advantage to out grind a blue deck unless of course they run painful truths and other such cards.

It still highlighted some strengths about the nahiri deck. It goes to show that nahiri allows you to pretty much be removal.dec to shut down aggro while still having the nahiri to beat midrange/control. As was said on camera the ub deck was actually abead but nahiri just won. Nahiri acts very much like jtms where if the planeswalker is under no threat and the player is not dying before untapping then the game is 90% going to go to the nahiri deck. It is like a more balanced version of twin because nahiri does not just end the game which gives decks with reach combo or insane threats (tron) a chznce to just win the game.
Was that Slivers and RG Tron I saw earlier? Love it.
Enjoying this Jund vs. Jeskai Control match too. The Tier 1 blue-based control prediction is looking better by the round!
Definitely is. I been saying that besides a generally hood anseer control a wincon that is not so slow. Nshiri is filling twins role without makkng control able to beat actusl combo decks or tron so easily but I feel some cliques and disruption from the board helps immensely in those matchups.

That Sliver match had me excited. I even did a facebook post about it and I have done fewer than 15 fb posts ever.
Jeskai Control does decently vs. Jund. It has similar poor matchups as Jund (TRON and many Combo decks), but I feel that it is slightly worse than Jund in other matchups.

The kiki chord player brutally misplayed in game 1 by letting him untap with tron while having Fulminator Mage on the table. I literally turned off the stream. No idea how he's 8-0.
