Dude, he punted all over the place, like game 1 when he didn't double block. He got savaged by a better player in all those games. He was literally the negative steretype of a bad Tron player getting bailed out because of the massive matchup advantage, thank god he lost. I do think that was an unfair representation of Eldrazi Tron
When he played that Endbringer or whatever it was with path revealed by Courser I couldn't believe it.
Taylors deck wasn't *****ting on him, Wilted Abzan should have not beaten him.
Guys please opinions on japanese cards. Lost a 3/3 creature against Japan celestial colonade. This guy played all creatures and spells in english cards, but some cards in his manabase was japanese. I dont registrated this really ( my brain say its all fine and all english to me lets attack his empty board)...and i am sure it is a Kind of legal cheating. It is not ok, but i know legal. I Hate such people. I never forget colonade normally, but with this Tricks it can happen one time in 3 years and such people take advantage of this
If I am a customer spending premium amount of dollars, I expect a premium service. Jund falls into the category of a premium deck costing more dollars than a majority of the rest of the format. I'm not getting the desired performance ratio per dollars spent out of the Jund deck because WOTC decided to make the format more diverse.
Nah, it's still fun to watch, I don't think those matchups are usually that awful
I understand when there's complex decisions to make, or when it's deep into a tournament there's mental fatigue. Hell, sometimes misplays happens, it was the amount of misplays that occurred multiple times that were game deciding decisions.

Yeah. Not an enviable job picking between hundreds of FNM warriors hoping to keep the viewers happy.

I loved the way that Jund player sequenced against Bant Eldrazi, just ripping apart his threats, and dropping LOTV with just 2 reactive spells in his opponent's hand, I would have panicked and picked the EE
I'm just excited to see modern on stream after so long, I want to see where the meta is going and watching lines of play I wouldn't have seen and picking them up for my own play

Death Shadow looks legit, and resilient. I played it on MTGO and immediately knew it wasn't for me, it's such a difficult deck to play, definitely one of the hardest to play in the format, especially when I have no interest of it being my main deck.
I love GBx, just want easier decks that aren't my main. Playing Eldrazi Bant on mtgo, do you guys think that's just redundant to own since I have Jund/Junk?
Is it just me or have they been playing replay matches for the past hour and a half.... where is live coverage?? They should be on like round 4 or 5 by now.
EDIT: Grixis Control probably feels bad against Burn. The looming top decks...
EDIT 2: Corey pulls out game 1!
Burn player punted pretty bad playing that last land. Perfect info that he won't die from a burn spell means he can spend all his mana killing her.
Cory is uncanny, but he also outplaying his opponents and capitalizing on their mistakes. The game 2 loss was much more representative of the matchup. He really wins matches he has no business winning!
Froelich wrecked my feels with Turn 1 Seachrome Coast, Serum Visions. Turns out he's on Ad Nauseam =(
What a downer. Do we have any GP Van Cheeri0s players confirmed yet?
In other news, this coverage needs some work. Too much downtime; I'm sure many players and personalities would be happy to comment in between games and give some Modern coverage. I really don't understand why it continues to be so lackluster. Wizards needs to watch literally any football game to pick up a dozen things they could do differently. Or League. or DotA. Lots of models and resources out there to improve coverage.
Yup, way too much downtime. They're broadcasting quick, linear decks and then having replays that lasts 40 minutes.
Death Shadow doing well, that deck is really difficult to pilot, I'm amazed Gerry literally plays anything and everything in every format and does well.
No blue decks so far, unless you guys consider Bant Eldrazi and Ad Naseum as blue

Nothing on Twitter. I know one NGA member who's on it today but I don't know their real name to look up standings.
And I agree on coverage. Burn v Grixis kept me bc it was a great match, but other than that I've just been watching for Cheeri0s or Grixis/BGx and then flipping away.

Slowly breaking.
Any more of this, and Team Troll will be more than just a name.

Kiki Cord is not my thing, but it seemed far more resilient.

How is Grixis Control not a blue deck?
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.
