There's a suggestion in an article I read. Basically you only play tarmo, bloodbraid, pyro, and snap, then a bunch of burn.
Not sure if it's actually any good haha.
That suggestion sounds a bit like the latest BBE Tribal Zoo lists I've seen, which are only Tarmo, Bloodbraid, dumb meat, lands, and burn maindeck. You read that right: no Path to Exile maindeck. Admittedly, 4 of the dumb meat cards are Mantis Rider, which have Haste, Flying, 3 power, and 3 cmc, so they provide pretty good reach.
Those Zoo lists are probably some good, as they consistently end up in the 5-0 MTGO Modern Leagues, and I've seen them in the Top 32s of Modern Challenges.
I'm trying to decide between jeskai draw-go, esper (with liliana and spirits) and grixis (k-command, dire fleet, liliana). My meta has a decent amount of jund, tron and aggro. Not sure what is the best option here. I've been trying jeskai draw-go but it seems too passive, I run out of answers before I can close games. Any advice on a meta like this? I'm not really interested in playing straight UW and don't have the cards for RUG.

So, given a lighter amount of combo in your meta, I'd suggest Jeskai or Grixis. Jeskai is better against most aggro, while Grixis is stronger against Jund/midrange. You can build either to be a bit more aggressive, with Jeskai Geist or Grixis Delve strategies. Any control strategy you pick that doesn't run 4 FoR and 4 Seas is going to be a bit of a dog to Tron, in my experience. I'd keep any Direfleet Daredevils in the sideboard, since they're kind of... mediocre. It sounds to me like you need to run a bit more card selection and be a little bit more aggressive about using your Snapcasters on cantrips.
