I mean, if it's exile you're sfter, white already has Path at 1 mana. I get that you get the cantrip option too but this doesn't seem worth adding a colour for, imo :/
My thoughts on other previews:
Absorb won't see play bc 3 mana is awkward for Modern counters.
Dovin seems way too fragile, also historically PW's with "+ do nothing" haven't been good, and Dovin needs setup for his + to do slightly less nothing. Should be ok for standard tho
Bedevil seems playable actually, yes it's on 3 and it's competing with Dreadbore, but it does enough more for the extra mana that devks like Pyro might wanna pick 1 up. Decks with G like Jund will stick to Trophy and Pulse tho.
Kaya is fascinating, though I have no idea if she'll work. Her + is obviously good against GY decks, but she's a bit slow if you're trying to hate on Dredge or Phoenix style strategies. Also sorcery speed is a big drawback on grave hate. Her - seems like it will be great against, like, Lantern and Zoo? Her ult is obviously good if you use it but not what i'd be judging the card on.
I really like the look of Hydroid Krasis, finally. I guess it's probably too slow but if some sort of rampy midrange/control deck popped up, it could well make a sweet finisher. Would be a mirror breaker and a half for Control matches of Bant picks up ever...
UW midrange and bant midrange have always been borderline shells imo. the thing that always stands out as the missing piece is just good value threats, which i envision something like stoneforge could possibly fill.
i could see some bant flash/coco/midrange thing working out. d-sphere on a stick is just another good coco hit. queller, reflector mage, knight of autumn, geist, kotr...a lot of powerful 3 drops to pair with a turn 1 mana accelerator.
maybe move off coco, or cut some, and use the new incubation card like a poor mans GSZ? then of course there is just that infinite combo out there with vizier/devo druid. i dunno. certainly some space for exploration.

In the meantime, Rix Maadi Reveler has been doing decent in testing, and it's been more versatile than I previously thought. I've also tried it in Bridgevine and BR Hollow One now, and I think it'll stay in both decks. Bridgevine has the toughest time reaching 4 mana but the best reason to discard a card early-game, while RMR isn't the best-feeling way to pump Flameblade Adept or make Hollow One cheaper, but BR Hollow One can reach 4 mana easier. Yes, drawing 3 cards off this guy feels swell, and even cantripping when you're Hellbent feels fairly good. The nice part is that if you don't think you can afford to discard anything, this guy gets better after sandbagging.
# Where does Kaya fit in ?
Her abilities seem pretty bad on the surface.
I guess she can work in an "WB Eldrazi Processors" deck but this isn't a viable deck anyway.
# Dovin is interesting though the abilities aren't great for a control deck and there isn't really a UW Tokens type deck that I know of to take advantage of the +1 ability (reminds me a bit of Huatli, though it fits better in GW)
Dovin at the 3 cmc slot might be good enough to see play. I don't think there are any decks it perfectly slots into at the moment, but I do think that there is a great Bant tokens deck out there that could play him alongside the 3 cmc token generator Nissa for a bant token superfriends type thing.
Or maybe something else entirely, but history tells us to never overlook 3 cmc pws, because they almost all find a home somewhere.
I could definitely see Sphinx of Foresight seeing serious play. Serum Powder already sees play in certain eldrazi decks, and I imagine a deck that benefits from one might benefit from both. Or sphinx could just be straight up better (it certainly is in a vacuum)
Deputy of Detention is decent enough to see play. This kind of card always finds a home in Chord/Company decks.
Biomancer's Pet is extra copies of Training Grounds. The last Training Grounds deck I saw had Pack Rat and Tasigur, the Golden Fang as mana sinks, but the UG cost doesn't sit well with Pack Rat wanting lots of B. Maybe there'll be some good adapt creature to take its place.
Sphinx of Foresight seems pretty underpowered. Death's Shadow decks have shown us that spamming free effects (Mishra's Bauble, Street Wraith) can work if it sets up your deck's threats. Getting a free scry 3 can set up a Delver of Secrets flip on turn 2, but it's a lot more finicky because you need both the Sphinx and Delver in your opener (whereas you can draw DS or Gurmag Angler on turn 2). Also, Bauble and Wraith cantrip, but Sphinx just leaves you virtually down a card until you hit 4 mana.
In combo decks you would just play Sleight of Hand if you need more than 4 cantrips.
Dovin is similar to Jace, Cunning Castaway, which saw zero play. Except Jace could combo with Doubling Season and Dovin doesn't have that going for him . His tokens are artifacts though, if you're going to Polymorph and protect them from enemy removal with Welding Jar. Nissa, Voice of Zendikar is how you do a 3-mana PW right: put the token making ability on +, and the team boost on -.
Judith is a Human that's ruined by being in colors that are not created by Noble Hierarch. Humans did play Xathrid Necromancer in the past but that has been phased out by Militia Bugler. She could have been good in an Aristocrats deck, if not for the word "nontoken".
eh, id say the archetype still exists...kinda. so many green 'a lot of creatures that do stuff' toolbox decks in the tier 2 soup.
4 mana instead of the functional 3 of pod, and cant be used immediately. no mana cost to activate though, cant be reused if blinked but can if untapped...
maybe? pretty sweet card nonetheless, and an elf to boot. i know UGx elves is possible (sorta), but has always been overshadowed by GW/GB.
No, since it's a worse Pod. It's rather an enhanced Yisan, the Wanderer Bard. She can probably do broken things in Limited, Standard and Commander though.
A card like Eldritch Evo doesn't push archetypes enough while the effect is stronger than Vannifar, it rings a bell to me.

Well, it has a lot of things going for her as already pointed out. Repeatable, even in the same turn if untapped, no mana cost on the ability, rather resilient creature. It might be worse than Pod, but I don't think it's just a strictly worse version, rather a different, maybe a bit weaker, version.
There go any hopes of Birthing Pod being unbanned, not that I expected it to be anyways. Cool card, and I'm sure somebody will try to find ways to make it work - Lightning Greaves maybe?
It's probably a fine value card, and great for long grindy games, but I feel the place it will shine the most is in Commander.
Who knows though, maybe they'll make all my regular and foil Twin copies extra irrelevant by going down a similar path, like making a similar 2/4 creature for 2UR that taps to copy a creature. And we will be infinitely sad at the summoning sickness and be just as disappointed as Pod people looking at Vannifar.

Nobody remotely took that seriously as anything other than a Tier Fun deck. lol. So I guess it's better than having hope and seeing it crushed?
I don't think Intruder Alarm will be that viable with her when, in the end, Vannifar still needs another creature to go off, and the good ol' Exarch-Kiki combo still essentially lets you tutor out one-shot Intruder Alarms on creatures.

She is also resilient to bolt! Will that re-spark the archetype?
