Fireblade Artist BR Creature - Human Shaman
Haste
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may sacrifice a creature. If you do, Fireblade Artist deals 2 damage to target opponent or planeswalker.
2/2
He looks allright, surely I'm interested to test him, but his -3 looks very underwhelming (hitting 2 creatures in 4 cards too hard, if you have less than 30 creatures). +1 is nice though.
This isn't a Burn deck though and this isn't (much) better than Rift Bolt which nobody plays in the deck anyway.
The deck already has Atarka's Command as the 2nd burn spell and it is better.
Seems like the first competitive result in years .
By the way, all but a handful of my posts have been erased due to EU rules. So, if there appear to be holes in this thread, this could be because to this.

I like this list
It has good manabase, curve and mana sinks
I like it has a lot of 1-of, 2-of and 3-ofs, looks like a tuned list with a thought and practice put into it
Sideboard also looks solid
I think Spikeshot is better, Firedrinker's self-damage made it more of a liability than it was worth iirc, but only having 2 copies could be fine. Spikeshot gives the deck extra removal and non-combat damage. This deck lacks disruption, so it's either got to be insanely fast and hard to disrupt, or it needs to wait for more disruptive Shamans to be printed in order to be competitive.

Thats an aggro deck, it wants to play creatures t1, not discard. Also black is only a light splash here
If you play discard, then Rage Forger, Judith, the Scourge Diva and overall aggro plan becomes a lot worse
Then you should replace them with Tarmogoyfs and then you are building Jund
If you look at creature decks that have been or are currently competitive, like Humans or Death and Taxes, you'll see they get their disruption from creatures not from spells. Jund and Abzan are different because they are midrange decks that just play a small number of the best creatures that are legal.
This deck has to rely on being faster and more resilient than Humans, since it lacks disruption.
Bolt is both disruption and reach, so it's perfect for aggro decks.
I didn't watch Caleb's stream when he played the League and 5-0'd with Shamans, but perhaps he overlooked Scavenging Ooze. Scooze is a great card, and functions well with Rage Forger. It provides kind of exactly what the deck wants, a mix of aggressiveness and disruption.

I feel like you'd get more out of say a Akki Rockspeaker or other 2cc shaman that chains in off the burning trees.
(looking at the Akki, i was imagining you'd get then play any of 1cc spells.)
Akki doesn't replace Banneret. And it's much worse that Emissary. Emissary is played without ruining your mana curve, it can be chained into Rage Forger turn 3. Akki is just a 1 mana 1/1 that can't be played turn 1, that's it.

AFAIK MTGSalvation was recently sold. All EU users had to agree to transfer their data or have their account deleted. I never got the popup and the mails went to my spam folder, so I never got the message and my account was deleted. I had in this thread 200+ posts, so there are some gaps now.
We need a Shaman mana dork so much that I would even be happy if they printed a DRS with only the mana ability. That would allow the deck to be so much more explosive. (I mean, T1 Dork, T2 Any number of BTE into Rage Forger would become extremely dangerous. Even just doing T2 Banneret -> Banneret would be a powerful play as a set up for T3 Rage Forger for R)

Basically compared to CalebD, it is -4 CoCo, +2 Lead the Stampede, +1 Firedrinker Satyr, +1 Metallic Mimic. I suppose this change makes it a bit easier on the mana, as not always you reach 4 lands quickly.

I thought about adding Judith. She's the best addition to Shamans in a while.

I think i'd rather run with goblin guide if i could get away with it. Or just full spikeshot elder
