I wanna replace the quirion dryads in this list with grim flayer but I'm unsure if it will be a good trade of or not. I have 3 arenas in the deck but I removed them for the trackers.
Heres the list.
4 Quirion Dryad
4 Birds of Paradise
2 Eternal Witness
3 Tireless Tracker
3 Scavenging Ooze
2 Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
2 Tasigur, the Golden Fang
So for tracker to really equal the other options in terms of card draw you really want more fetches. Being able to double-clue on land drops is really a big part of what makes tracker a modern-playable card.
The trackers are fine, they should work with four fetch land. Although if you can, try to add at least two more fetch to the manabase - this is not mandatory since you're on a budget.
If you want to have grim flayers... I suggest -4 Dryad -2 Witness -2 Tasigur +4 Grim Flayer +4 Filigree Familiar. Grim Flayer if built around properly is really strong, one of the best budget goyf replacement. The familiars should help you reach delirium. Tasigur is bad with flayers, he should go if you want to put flayers in.
Are the two Eldest Reborn helping with your strategy? If you have Ob Nixilis reignited, it's better to put ob in those spots. He's one of the cheapest planeswalkers in terms of money you have to spend to get, but will still help you in midrange battle of resources. Also helps with delirium when he's put into the yard.
Yeah I agree with you on the witness I added it in before because I really like the card and it has slowly faded out.
And I'll keep an eye out for the grimsby now that he has a spot
Use duress or inquisition.. if you see no removal on opponent hand. You can cast Grim even as a 2/2.

And no need for Birds of Paradise. The cmc of the deck is already low.
Replace them with more threats like Gifted Aetherborn, they have a good synergy with Kalitas.
I had put the birds in for the flavor, casting arena on t2 and now they are use to help cast multiple things in one turn. I'll try removing them for a threat
amicdeep, thank you for the detail break down awesome ideas I'll be messing with a few. The spell bombs have been on my mind sense last week when I paired up with a meta midrange deck bob/goyf.

When you and the opponent are both top decking. He draws a threat, you draw a birds.. that won't end well. Most of the creatures in the deck can be cast by just laying down a land on curve each turn. Fetch shock, duress / iok, then cast 2 drop like grim flayer. It's a basic bgx pattern.
Heres the list.
4 Quirion Dryad
4 Birds of Paradise
2 Eternal Witness
3 Tireless Tracker
3 Scavenging Ooze
2 Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
2 Tasigur, the Golden Fang

4 Swamp
4 Woodland Cemetery
4 Overgrown Tomb
2 Hissing Quagmire
2 Windswept Heath
2 Polluted Delta

Quirion dryad </= >/= grim flayer
Or 8f my creature base is good as is?
And drop the idea of flayer

Remove one Scooze and golden fangs for ob
Two Ob Nixilis is enough, he is 5 mana so 3 will be too many.
