I think people are underestimating the power of Deathtouch + tokens. The colossus + death baron combo is just ridiculous.
I Love the dino but I think hes better in a build thats more graveyard centric. He's also an amazing candidate for unearth.
There was a list that did well with gravecrawler, dread wanderer and the 2/1 human with raid. Also ran lily, pitching those guys sounds like value town to me.
It feels like the Dino would combo well with a Dimir or Golgari zombie deck.
I played this yesterday in a 30 man tournament, beat 8 whack, infect and skred, lose to Esper living end
The deck feels great and the engine is Very good, G2 I lose to Esper living end because I have 8 life, 2 Undead augur and 2 other zombies and he cast living end lol
Unearth is good to me, even though was anti-synergistic with the Colossus.
Modern is a very fast format and the minimun number of interact cards I want in g1 is 8, maybe split with IoK is ok, and I missing removal so much, dark salvation is not very good I think in the main.
I like your list but I think Baron is to slow and not have enough impact, relentless dead I will test 3 next time I play.
Servant has a synergy with undead augur, I think will play 3 because I die sometimes to undead augur and servant gave me some life to draw more cards.
Diogo37, I have been playing with that same 5-0 list you posted. I don't have any results with it yet (beyond testing in my kitchen table meta); Hogaak has been amazing, allowing very impressive T2 board states. I will be fiddling with some other cards; if anyone has suggestions or experience with it please chime in.
Wayward servant is much better than geralf's messenger if you play any white. I get that Solemnity makes a infinite loop where in which you can kill somebody with messenger and a sac outlet, but it also makes carrion feeder very useless other than as a combo part as solem is not a may but must card.

The only reason Carrion Feeder is in the list is to provide a cheap sac outlet.

Get that, but if they path or otherwise exile it before a sac outlet comes into play or otherwise disrupt the combo with solem on the field it does very little. There really is no backup plan for if they board against you or the combo really isn't going off and it feels like there isn't enough offensive depth without the combo. You have no real way of removing your own solem if you need to feed and beat with carrion.

All true. Except I do have one card to remove Solemnity in the main-deck.
It's not a serious attempt at deck building; it's a lark. If it works a couple of times, groovy. If it doesn't, c'est la vie.
That said, I'm open to changes that facilitate the main plan. I think I'm going to shoehorn Tidehollow Sculler in the main-deck. The side-board will have more hate for the decks I expect to face; Amulet Titan, Burn, Humans, UW Control. Modern is dying quickly in our neck of the woods and there may not be any more Modern tournaments next year at my primary LGS.
There's another wacky plan I have involving Aether Vial, Messenger and Soul Diviner that may be an overall better plan, but this was simple to slap together so I'm going to try it first.
It's getting pretty consistent 5-0s and 4-1s. Deck is pretty legit now.
I'd like to see it evolve though since I doubt the lists are really that optimized.
Like I don't see Collective Brutality in these lists too much. It seems like a really good include as you could discard Crawler and or Bloodghasts if you decide to out a few off tribe creatures in here due to the resiliency.

About the zombie dino. It's massive size for so little mana.. feels like a spot should be given to it. And it's a decent topdeck after a board wipe.

Its very similar to mine actually so Im glad it got some good results.
How has maindeck'd thoughtseize worked for you? Are you missing the removal?
3 Carrion Feeder
3 Cryptbreaker
4 Gravecrawler
4 Tidehollow Sculler
4 Undead Augur
2 Wayward Servant
4 Diregraf Colossus
4 Death Baron
3 Relentless Dead
2 Path to Exile
2 Cavern of Souls
2 Concealed courtyard
2 Godless Shrine
3 Polluted Delta
4 Silent Clearing
4 Swamp
3 Marsh Flats
I might play around with unearth since I have another juicy target in death baron.
Unearth is faster than relentless dead by a mile, but I do appreciate how given enough time/mana relentless will bring back everything you need.
Seems like 4 is a lot for wayward servant, how has your testing been for him?
Also btw, Death baron plus crawlers and colossus tokens is nutty.

Probably I will play this next tournament.

Top of the list
Another 5-0 showing using the same 75 Spike used. Is Zombies real now?
