Volcanic fallout in the main against those decks you need it against is probably good enough as a two of. I would probably try to keep at least one more in the board, though, as there are decks where big beaters + small sweepers just does it quick. Blood moon is at least a 3 of, if not a 4 of. You don't often need it, but when you do, you have to have it! They often won't expect you to drop a moon since you're so very reliant on nonbasics in the early game. I think I would make a habit of fetching for that basic forest followed by the basic plains pretty often. If you fetch for basics in the first game for your utopia sprawl, then they won't be inclined to follow your lines of play for game two when you do it again (of course, this time you're doing it for the moon play, but they won't know that)

I've managed to squeeze 3 Blood Moon into the sideboard, put the two Fallouts in the sideboard as well, and moved Beast Within to the main 60. I feel it's a much better card to main over Volcanic Fallout for this deck because of its diversity in what I can destroy.

I do this every game. I rarely search for a shock unless it's absolutely necessary or mid- late game when I can have it enter the battlefield tapped. You're right, though. Most people would be surprised to see a Bllod Moon from this Angel deck.
Here's the current list. I'll update the opening post list as well:
Somberwald was used in this deck when it was standard as an alternate way to pump out creatures when Descendants' Path was in the deck. So I've got to see a lot of playtime with Somberwald, and I know it won't hold up in modern. There's too much burn in the meta right now, and the Sage can't even block without dying. Which is the same reason why I'm not using Lotus Cobra. I want my ramp to stay on the board, and I'm already giving a lot of decks an easy target in Arbor Elf.
But, it's all personal preference. I'd prefer my ramp to stick around until I don't need it, so I take a hit in speed and explosiveness doing so. Lotus Cobra and Somberwald Sage could definitely pull a lot of work in this deck, and make for some really snappy games. But they're both fragile, and die to just about everything. Each method has its risks and rewards.
Which reminds me, which changes have you made with the recent meta changes? Is it still holding up well? This has always been a deck I enjoy watching and seeing how it does.

I feel it transitioned quite nicely. It's still pretty strong against burn and aggro, solved my token matchup problem by learning how to play against it as well as Volcanic Fallout and setting Chalice with the right amount of counters.
Bloom Titan is a race, more or less. But I feel that's how it is with most decks.
I haven't gotten a chance to play against Grishoalbrand yet, but I don't think that 15 life would gain them more than one turn.
Delver variants are still pretty favorable, even when they've splashed in B for discard.
Any decks in particular is should play against to see how the matchup goes? I've just been going off of MTG Top8 percentages to see what to test against, and I'm not sure how updated they are.
I've thought about trying out Archangel of Tithes, but I think it's too intense to cast. Especially with Blood Moon in the sideboard. I don't want to end up with dead cards after I land a Moon, because I'll screw myself over just as much(if not more) than my opponent.
Do you have any suggestions from Khans-origins I should check out? I've been thinking of giving some of the new commands a try, but I haven't really looked into them much.
In colors, I'm thinking Dromoka's command is the only one worth really looking at. Grixis control is the one to worry about right now, because of terminate and snapcaster mage. You'll want to path gurmag angler/legendary equivalent and just beat in..a lot. Have you had any results vs. junk/azban variants? I see you beating them if they don't land a liliana of the veil, tokens or not. Your lifegain is just stronger with the walletslayer top of the curve.

Dromoka's Command does seem useful. I'll have to pick a couple more up and test them out.
Yeah, that's pretty annoying. When I have a Boros Charm, I can stop half of it. But the flashback with Snap I can't do anything but watch. Which, well, sucks. But it usually wins me the game, keeping as much potential damage on the board as possible.
A turn 3 Angler isn't really a fast enough clock to put this deck on. My heavy hitters can fly right over it, and Baneslayer(I love how a lot of people call him Walletslayer) gains me back the life that Angler takes. Archangel+Courser also helps gain back lost life as well as pump. So sometimes when an Angler comes down, my courser can stuff it and survive.
Aurelia Owns in this matchup. If she hits the board, I win by the end of the turn. But, that's been the case for the majority of matchups I've encountered.

Collected Company is too slow against this deck, even if Dinkmaster Elf dies. And most of what falls onto the battlefield from a CoCo is irrelevant since it doesn't have flying. I think it's great people use it, though. They use their 4th or 5th turn to cast CoCo, and I drop an Aurelia or Gisela, swing, and win.
Liliana can take a creature, but I kill her as soon as I can. Be it with a Boros Charm, flyer, or Beast Within. She dies.
I, personally, find the Rhino more annoying. But, that's another reason why Courser and Caryatid are in here: as a blocker mid-late game.
I'm more worried about the counters with this deck. Yes, you have a lot of ramp, but a remand sets you back quite a bit. Blood moon might help in that matchup, as would chalice of the void. Is archangel still worth it?
I think -1 cavern of souls, +1 forest or something? You only want to see one, as they probably aren't going to counter a courser or mana dork. When you name angels with it (the only thing worth naming, I presume?), you are going to resolve it. Also, knight of the reliquary finds it, so your chances of finding knight OR cavern are pretty good. Multiples are really bad for you as they can't do anything else.
I'll test out 2 Caverns instead of three. I've always ran 3 in decks, but that's because I haven't used any type of land search other than fetches. Since I'm running Knight, I think you're right when you suggest two.
As far as Archangel goes: yes, I think he's still worth it. Most games, he gives my creatures at least 2 +1/+1 counters, and that helps a lot. A 2/5 Caryatid can keep stuffing a Siege Rhino, a 3/3 Elf can actually take something out when it blocks, 6/6 baneslayers cut down Prime Time, etc.
If any card is I'm danger of being replaced, I'd say it's Gisela. I want another wincon that auto wins when I swing with it like Aurelia does. Don't get me wrong, she helps out a lot by halving damage thrown at me while magnifying my damage to others. But there has to be something better out there.
Actually, I think -2 gisela (love the card, but it does take 7 to cast even though it probably wins you the game) + 2 dragonlord dromoka. He gives counter decks the middle finger, stops them from doing anything on your turn (again, giving removal decks the middle finger) and has flying and lifelink while coming down for 4WG. The only can't be countered angel is akroma, angel of fury. I love it, but it's harder for you to cast at cmc 8 and RRR
so, my brother and i have finally decided to try out Lotus Cobra in the deck. with the consistent presence of Hooting Mandrils and its big delve friends, caryatid can't stop them anyway. we feel that taking the explosive route is a better idea in today's meta.
Just that one switch managed to help exploit a lot of mana and synergy between creatures. especially when you have a Knight on the board with cobra and a fetch in hand. top it off with Courser and you've gained a bunch of life while making Knight bigger and netting free mana from cobra.
Get to dig this thread up, wonder if a UW version can be made.

I'm sure you could, but i found that Naya is the fastest and most competitive combination.
Any reason why you want to use blue?
Don't really think any version of Angels is "competitive". But that is neither here or nor there.
Just wanted to explore UW if it was available but most folks believe that should be a pure control deck.
or would have to build with geist of saint traft
or Bruna, Light of Alabaster and that is a commander card if anything. So yea no really solid options, there was an old delver angel deck but don't think anyone touches that anymore.

You can think what uou want, it doesn't change the results i've had with this deck.
There's a lot of ways you can build an angel deck. Build a version best suited for you and your playstyle to see the best results. The same can be said for any deck idea.
With those cards specificly I would also be running steel of the Godhead, as the best enchantment for them.
If this is the build your after I would go for arcane subtheme with tallowwisp and the shoal counter spells, unlike the spirits build you'll also have to consider ramp as bruna isn't a cheap threat and modern is fast.
I decided that Volcanic Fallout would be better mained over Blood Moon, so I'm going to try out the new 75 tonight and report back in the morning.
I hope two of each will be enough...

Garruk, Primal Hunter can also be used instead of Wildspeaker. Primal Hunter gives card draw to let you keep going strong mid-late game.
