I've been working on a cool idea I came up with to deliberately blow up my opponent's mana source in huge chunks. I first just really focused on how many times I can copy a spell whether it was stone rains, roiling terrains, or even boomerangs to slow them down in the late game so bad, but I had a problem with how tremendously slow this strat would be 9 times out of 10. I concluded that I need ways to increase tempo.
Here's my deck list so far:
1x Panoptic Mirror
1x Pyromancer Goggles
2x As Foretold
2x Eyes of the Watcher
3x Pyromancer Ascension
3x Boomerang
3x Echoeing Truth
3x Treasure Hunt
3x Stone Rain
3x Molten Rain
3x Glorybringer
3x Thing In The Ice
4x Bloodwater Entity
4x Roiling Terrain
The rest are land which include 4 field of ruin, 4 halimar depths, 4 sulfur falls, 4 steam vents, and the rest basics.
Any suggestions on what I could do to improve or strengthen this engine? P.S. I'm thinking about switching pyromancer ascension with howl of the horde. I also studied on eminent domain decks to see if that would correlate well but I'm not convinced.
If you want to destroy lands what does Blue really do for you ?
Most of your spells are red anyway.
I'd suggest avoiding cards like: Panoptic Mirror and Eyes of the Watcher in the deck as they are too slow an unimpactful. Spreading Seas would be good in the deck to mess with opponents' colors and replace itself.
The deck doesn't really support Pyromancer Ascension particularly well either as it needs cheap cantrips and cards that fill the GY quickly.
I'd drop it as it doesn't really fit the deck.
Treasure Hunt is a weak card draw spell and can be replaced with many better options, it is only used in some fringe combo decks which play a massive amount of lands. Shadow of Doubt can be good in the deck as a cantrip that fizzles fetch-lands, other cards which can do it are: Disallow, Nimble Obstructionist and Trickbind.
Echoing Truth is more of a SB card than a MD option imho unless you regulary play against tokens' decks. Boomerang can work if you have an early threat to use the tempo you gain like Delver of Secrets or Young Pyromancer.
Bloodwater Entity is a pretty weak threat for 3-mana, a better option would be Goblin Rabblemaster that closes out games quickly while opponents struggle to cast their spells through the LD spells. Enigma Drake would also be better but relies on having spells in the GY which this deck doesn't do very quickly.
Glorybringer is a pretty good finisher a hasty flyer but there are also other options like: Goblin Dark-Dwellers which can replay your LD spells and Frost Titan which can tap down lands.

Pyromancer's Goggles can be decent but would require ramp to be cast reasonably early.
A slightly cheapper option to double up spells can be Chandra, the Firebrand.
I'm not sure why you'd want As Foretold in this deck, it is too slow and might a well be a ramp piece like Mind Stone/Izzet Signet.

I think there's still ways to make that list work since you can upgrade on a lot of the cards.
