I'm just getting used to Twiddle and I have to ask about the usefulness of Tolaria West. In the few half dozen games I've played its always been a dead draw. More often than not I wished it was just an island.
Edit: I'm using my version of the UG list.
you could try it without with tolaria west, I have used it multiple times late game to find a cycle land to draw an extra card. I think if you are running once upon a time or sylvan scrying then you are probably fine with a utility land or island.
Still not sure on the sideboard. I'm trying different things each time I play.
Edit: I've been playing online with the goal of trying to come up with a board that can cover everything that can potentially hose twiddle. Needless to say, there's a lot of ground to cover.
It seams good but I don’t think it will work well as we don’t have enough redundancy in our graveyard, maybe in the version with twelve cycle creatures when we can exile them but appears from that I don’t think it will work
I tested the UG version with Breach in place of Past in Flames and no other changes. It's incredibly reliable (Albeit awkward cause it can be destroyed). When combing off you should have the two lands required to sac for Lotus Field and any amount of Serum Visions, Slight of Hand, opt or whatever supporting cantrips you decide to run. The key is Ideas Unbound. I find it a lot easier to combo off with Breach since I have free reign over my graveyard (Which the problem with Past in flames is that it only applies to the cards in your graveyard upon resolution and is clunky mid combo). Not to mention it's a lot easier to cast. There's a lot more to it but that's just the basics of what I uncovered so far.
Edit: Tl;dr I use Breach to spam Ideas unbound from my graveyard.
I am just curious but could the pioneer deck of this version and not worry about grapeshot be good? There are definitely a lot of win cons in modern than pioneer the reason I am asking.

well they are pretty inexpensive right now if the card takes off. I can really see this broken in a legacy or vintage format.
Not gonna lie I think it’s probably gonna be ban worthy in multiple formats
Graveyard hate is common and vicious in Modern and beyond. I wouldn't be surprised if Underworld Breach is restricted in Vintage but remains unbanned in all other formats. Some of my Breach decks can withstand one one-time graveyard wipe (I'm not sure this is one of them), but Scavenging Ooze has often demanded removal in my Grinding Station-abusing Breach lists. Breach also hasn't provided any speed boosts to my existing decks so far. Legacy has enough Turns 1-2 spell-based combo decks that I'm fairly sure it can withstand some more with Breach's release.
Just curious if there was any more testing with Underworld Breach with this deck? There is a SCG here in dallas in a few weeks and I thought I would bring this deck possibly.
There always seems to be a lot of burn, tron and Death shadow at these type of formats. SO maybe twiddle storm wouldn't be ideal but I think it would be interesting.
Personally I wouldn’t run underworld breach on its own but I think if we changed the combo a bit to include some self mill a bit like the pioneer version we could definitely fit the card into our 75

I had been thinking about that actually, are there any other cards we gain in modern that speeds up self mill like the lotus breach deck in pioneer.
I was thinking about updating a modern version of the deck but I don't know what you really gain from one format to another.

we could probably make a combo with tome scour reach through mists and breach to draw our entire deck

I wonder if you could go the grinding station route to cast a thassa's oracle for the win?
