Those of you who don't run vials: how many mana dorks would you consider to be optimal? I was thinking 6 (2 Birds of Paradise and 4 Noble Hierarch) but I'm not entirely sure.
I used to run those exact six but I eventually cut down on the birds until it was just he 4 nobles. Birds just was not having enough of an impact on the game for me.
matches were U/W Gifts Tron (2-0), Boggles (1-2), Grixis Control (2-0).
I tried playing the full four Wilt-leaf Liege because I'm still pretty new to the deck, and I can see why people play less than 4. Are there any other good 4-drops worth playing?

I usually go 3 Liege 1 Linvala. I'll play Thrun if the meta calls for it. I also had a version of the deck that was 4 Finks, 3 Resto, 3 Wilt-Leaf, and Gavony Township instead of Tec Edge. It was fun grinding people into submission with that.

Hey guys, one question, right now, i dont own any linvala or sigarda and i dont like brimaz that much (dont think he hates enough), i am thinking about movin two spellskite main in place of linvala and brimaz, what do you guys think? i think he is a good hater and protects our main haters against spot removal.
Note: my meta has at least 2 infects and 2 burns every modern night.
Brimaz doesn't bring hate, he brings pressure. He demands immediate attention, attention that would otherwise be directed at your bears. However, seeing your meta, I understand why you feel he isn't doing much for you. Spellskite is auto main for me.
But the way i see the deck, all our creatures that bring pressure, also bring hate (loxodon hates against counters and discard, liege against discard), etc... Brimaz only brings pressure, but i have to aggree that once resolved, he is a house, spellskite only bring hate, but can shut down some decks alone (infect, boggles) and is really good against burn giving us time to finish them before they finish us.
I believe WoTC's new policy is to make sure that every color can enjoy the exciting gameplay mechanic of making undercosted dudes and then turning them sideways. Clearly the future of magic.

currently my 4 drops are: 3 wilt liege and 1 linvala
In a much agro meta o think we can exchange 1 linvala for 1 Archangel of tithes or 1 collected company, but in a unknown meta I prefer linvala.
A card that I like is Angel of jubilation: has fly, makes our creatures stronger, stops dismember/fetchlands and can be a good pair for linvala. I'm thinking of putting 1 Angel of jubilation or 1 collected company in the board.
The SB changes, but I would run 3-4 Affinity hate, 2-3 Burn hate, 2 Explosives, some Mirran Crusader, and maybe some GY hate.
PS: for those trying to cast 1WWW cards, remember that you need 22 white sources in your deck to cast it on curve, and it doesn't get much better the turns after that. Casting Wilt-Leaf Liege isn't that easy, and you can count both green and white sources to do that

Match 1 Naya Zoo
0-2 Loss
Game 1: It went back and forth I stuck him at 2 land, no red most of the game but I believe I was too aggressive in my trade which went to my defeat.
Game 2: In Chalice and 2 finks, out 3 liege. Was never in the game.
Match 2 Jeskai control *brew*
The deck is jeskai cantrip with myth realized and isochron scepter. It's a funny brew and hard if you don't take care of a scepter doing lightning helix every turn.
2-1 Win
Game 1: Was doing very well until I punted and he landed an helix under is scepter and just slowly cleared the board and had a backup bolt in hand and just killed everything on sight with helix (went from 2 to 26 before he won the game...)
Game 2: In Chalice and stony silence, out 2 path to exile and 2 liege. Landed chalice for 1 turn 2 into turn 5 stony silence, scoop afterward.
Game 3: much of the same as game one, landed an earlier silence and he just couldn't deal with my fast beatdown pace. (cleared him from any red mana)
Match 3 Grixis control
1-1 tie
This match went to the limit and is all fuzzy in my mind. It was an hard fought battle that we had practiced the night before so I'm really not sure what was when... sorry
Match 4 Scapeshift
2-0 Win
Game 1: Aven Mindceonsor breaked 3 of his early land accel/fetch, scooped soon afterwards
Game 2: Out 2 Qasali and 2 liege, in extraction, Gaddog and 2 finks. More of the same.
Match 5 Scapeshift black
The guy play more black for Decay and other removal to make him more resilient to creature but slow him down.
2-0 Win
Both game were more of the same as the previous match. easy 2-0
Finished 7 out of 24, so went to draft mm15 for the top 8, had a sweet UW affinity deck, but got controlled by a sweet mon black spirit deck that wont the tournament.
I'm playing 3 voices and 2 kitchen finks. Could be 4 voices and 1 finks or brimaz, but the extra life of finks is awesome against burn and fast agro decks. The flex slots are very limited.
Great report, GralTok! You certainly could use some Engineered Explosives against Zoo, and they are good vs Infect, Merfolk and Affinity too.
Regarding the Voice question, I would run 4 if there were a lot of blue in the format... It is good vs Twin, Scapeshift, Jund (Abzan too, but not that much), Grixis and WUR Control. Not that good against Affinity or Infect (or any deck that could just ignore it). I only have 4 of Hierach, Arbiter, Path and Smiter (maybe vestige from other metagame, maybe it's just good in a lot of ways, or maybe I have a thing for elephants). I have no other explanation, 3 copies feel right maybe somebody could elaborate it better

When do you side out Aether Vials? I've been siding them out against grindy decks, especially ones with Kommand.

Ok, Thanks.
I think that RIP is better if keeping mana open against some decks bothers you, but it's really close.
I don't run Vials but this seems like a good plan
