I'm also wondering what Griselbrand is used for in this deck.
@Hektor Do you have a list? I've been tinkering around with trying to make this build more offensive myself, but without the rituals the goblins seem too slow. Maybe that's just because I'm used to putting them out t1 though lol.

a question as you do once you drop it with nahiri, how do you lower it again if you discard it and do not shuffle like emrakul?
In all of my playtesting I really only get to ult Nahiri once. The card advantage that Griselbrand gives me more than makes up for the fact that Nahiri's ult is a once-per-game thing. I have yet to lose a G1 where I bring out Griselbrand and get to activate his ability.
I'm also wondering what Griselbrand is used for in this deck.
I went this route because I completely believe that Ensnaring Bridge is absolutely amazing in this current meta (so many creatures) and Nahiri is a fantastic PW to have. I wanted to capitalize on her ult when possible so I came to the conclusion that Griselbrand was the absolute best creature to summon with Nahiri. His pay7-draw7 ability means he will get to attack, do 7 damage, gain us 7 life, and allow us to draw even more. As a bonus any Karn construct tokens I made are most likely enabled to attack as well. Since I run a more lockdown-style prison deck less dependent on wraths it means that he draws me more lock pieces and PWs. Whatever condition my opponent was in before Griselbrand is now made that much worse.
Oh, ok. So when you use his ability you have enough cards to swing under bridge. That makes sense.
The list I was thinking about trying was dropping Nahiri completely due to what you said about maybe 1 ult a match, but then I thought about just using a couple copies for the dig/control elements. I was also wanting to get more Ajani and Chandra, while also finding room for a Koth and Hazoret. I really like Heart of Kiran for that because the Walls can't stop flyers. (I'm still devastated by getting beat down by an Ornithopter utilizing Cranial Plating to get through my bridge while I was hellbent playing Mono Red against Affinity a couple of FNMs ago, although I guess this version gets Stony Silence so that particular example isn't the greatest lol.)
Bridge is great? I don't see this. Cards like trophy, knight of autumn and abrade are new good Mainboard cards killing easy bridge. It can be good, but it is definitely worse then in the past.

This is true, but the midrange decks aren't exactly a large enough part of the meta to worry about trophy/pulse. Knight is problematic, but the only deck I've seen it in recently was Spirits which feels like an auto win with a single sweeper most of the time anyway. The only card that worries me is abrade, but even then most decks run 2 or 3 in the side. Bridge can be a free win game 1 against these deck and after siding they have to draw it, and even then they have to choose between bridge and chalice. A spellskite is almost a must in the side these days simply for that reason. You can make them waste an abrade for 2 life and put the chokehold on the game while you sit back and ult walkers for game.
That said, I normally play Red Prison which has a little more reach than this deck so maybe that entire paragraph only applies to that deck lol.

Winds of Abandon is actually interesting. It is a 1w Path to Exile but it also has an Overload that wipes the enemy board.
It obviously doesn't fit with Land Destruction but it is efficient in a way that we don't usually see. It makes me want to look at restoration angel builds again.
Lovely to see Pillage back.
I want to thank everyone for contributions to the thread here.
I must admit I slightly migrated towards a GW Arbor Elf/Sakura Tribe Elder ramp version of landkill, similar to RG but with the higher slots containing primal command and acidic slimes, maintaining the white. The red landkill was just less flexible and green gave gas with Tireless Tracker
I still believe RW works as a Moon/Bridge/PW deck, Bridge is so good and walkers are still very powerful, although as with everything its time has passed as the format got quicker and the mana became less fetch heavy.

People with belligerent signatures are trying to compensate for something....
I’m thinking about using these cards to replace Torpor Orb and Leyline of Sanctity in my sideboard. Torpor Orb I put in after Kiki-Jiki angel felt unwinnable, but I haven’t seen that deck in a while, and Leyline of Sanctity no longer protects walkers from burn spells, feels redundant with chalice, and is destroyed often with Assassin’s Trophy.
Fry, devout decree, and the new Chandra seem like better options to me right now.

Im playing, loving and believing in this deck for the day of printing of Nahiri.
This deck has been given big upgrades in last few months in cards like: Bonecrusher Giant, Realm-Cloaked Giant, Seasoned Pyromancer and lands like: Sunbaked Canyon and Forgotten Cave. Modern Horizon and Throne of Eldarine brought some sweet additions and new aspects to this deck.

Here's a weak looking card but it fits with the prison theme so it deserves a mention.

Another slow land destruction card

New Jaya, Gideon, Chandra and Tibalt but none of them seem likely to help us. I do kinda like Jaya's greeting.

Edit: Pillage reprint. Finally a real LD card.
