Hello. There are several cards I have really enjoyed in my board. The first is deflecting palm. It’s great against some of our toughest matchups. Its great against big creatures like eldrazi, reanimator targets, and is also good against aggrieved decks and voltron like boggles.
The second card is blessed alliance. It’s goid in many of the same matchups.
I've been playing U-R for awhile, but have had an interest in this version, and I finally got some cards for jeskai, here is the list I just took to a tournament on thursday.
At the tournament I went 2-1-1 overall my favorite match was against burn because game 2 he had me at 1 but I was countering all his stuff, then I played timely reinforcements, gain 6, then I snapped it back, up to 13, then when he drew a creature I used two modes on blessed alliance going up to 17 and killing his creature.
Cards that I am not sure about:
1. Spell Pierce - On the surface this card seems great but when I am running (4) Path to Exile the card gets pretty unimpressive or irrelevant pretty quickly. Not sure if I want to play that to try and protect Delvers or if going to Logic Knot is just better.
2. Monastery Mentor - Again, the card is cool but I don't think this is the right shell for it. I want to at least try it though. The last time I picked the deck up, This card didn't even exist.
The Sideboard probably needs some work too but I won't know until I can tune the rest of the deck.
I guess you missed 4 lightning bolts from your list since it's 56 cards and it's an auto-include in any delver deck however I suggest you at least a couple spell quellers, which are tempo blow outs and can counter things like decays and virdicts. Even though the first one is not so played nowadays, the second one is a must counter. Mentor seems good, but in my opinion Pyromancer is better just due to it's lower mana cost. Another card you could consider is boros charm: you don't have the late game tools to grind like our grixis "cousin", so you have to be faster and that's huge reach. It can also save your team from a wrath and, in rare cases, gives you reach playing around white leyline or similar stuff. Hope my suggestions were helpful, good luck and stay jeskai

HAHA yea i missed the bolts apparently. I've tried Boros charms in the past but have been rather unimpressed by them. I have also tried quellers and young peezy and didn't really care for them. The mentor was pretty cool but again, I wasn't super impressed. I like this deck again though. I ended up going 3-0 in my FNM (not many players because they were all traveling for the GP) and never really felt like I was going to lose. I played against 4 color shadow and that was an easy 2-0. The other matches were some mono G concoction that just got run over because I was able to remand all of his spells all the time and round 1 was mono U faeries that someone had built years ago and he just came back to playing magic again after a 4 year hiatus.
So was thinking UR delver wizards might be a viable choice given the extra playset of bolts (if you play wizards), and the addition of “everyone gets prowess” hasty flyer — making snappy even better due to tribal perks. 4 extra playsets of bolts makes it easier to give up path and wasn’t hard to give up helix for skullcrack. Haven’t played tested, but thought at the theoretical level it seemed like it was worth testing.
Giving up path and helix made giving up White altogether seem reasonable. I know this is URW delver, but wanted your thoughts. Thanks!
Hi all! I hadn't realized this thread was still active. I will update the primer this weekend with more recent data for any new players. As Mazeron stated, We also have a deck creation thread that deals with jeskai tempo in general (delver decks and non-delver decks) which is very active in the deck creation section. I will make sure to keep up with this thread as well and keep it active. Thanks for looking!
Now this is a card that might see some definite play in our deck-
I REALLY like this card and I think it will play better than it reads even though it reads like a pretty powerful card. It's especially good with snap and reveler. What do you all think?
Hi fellow Jeskai Delver players. I have been testing Experimental Frenzy in my sideboard against grindy matchups and have to say it has been very good, if not, great. I have always struggled to find something to side in against Abzan and Jund after Celestial Purge. I think this is the card we needed. Has anyone else tried it yet?
I will say your deck has to be a bit more aggro because Experimental frenzy is not great with counter magic. So if your deck is counter magic heavy it may not work. Let me know what you all think.

the card itself really isn't worth the card board its printed on...does it serve a purpose? Sure its a blue 1 drop that might not be a 1/1. I would not put it in a list and expect to win a PTQ or GP though.

I also currently like flashfreeze.
I hope those help. There is another WUR delved/prowess topic in the deck creation section that is a bit more active. People there will help.
