The deck cant deal with those cards. Thats why its so fast, but if that does happen to you then you just have to grin and hold through it. Every deck has a weakness and thats bogles luckily though not alot of people play those cards. Also tempest of light is better than cleanfall since its instant.
- Did okay for me, but i felt 19 Lands to be too much. I did not have the 3rd and 4th Horizon Canopy, but i will have to make them fit in somehow. They are okay when drawn extra, since you rarely want ever to go above 3 Lands in play.
- That extra Ledgewalker was not needed at any point, that will be cut too. Currently brainstorming about what to replace it with. Suggestions welcome
-Keen Sense did a superb job. Still i think 2 might be the right amount.
- I often sided out the 3rd Spirit Mantle
- When your opponent is on the play, a pyroclasm will be a huge deal.
- Pithing Needles in the sideboard are essential, will go from 3 to 4. Every opponent WILL side in Spellskites. Any opponent having Liliana needles do their job too, versus Tron you can shut down Karn and or O-Stone. Some opponents will try it with Engineered Explosives.... well needles just handle all this.
- I am very unsure whethere i need the 4th Spiritdancer or not. Actually you don't want him in your starting hand many times, since you will most likely not play him Turn2. Then again he can be very brutal in card advantage.
- I feel like i need more auras, but don't know which to play.
PS: placed 5th or so. Got some crappy DragonsMaze Boosters.
A lot lists online run 4x spirit mantles. I don't like it but they place pretty well. Maybe take out a PtE or Ledgewalker for it?
Mantle is good but sometimes you really dont want to draw it i feel 2 is enough with 3 being the max. On a different topic, does geist of saint win deserve to be in the deck again after the new core legend rules come out? Imho his biggest weakness was him being legendary and someone playing it against us and popping him but now i feel like that has changed with the rule changes. Personally im going to test him as a 3 of in the noble build where he will fit best.
That's a very interesting idea. I'm anxious to see what we come up for on this one. Splashing blue allows for Invisible Stalker as well. As for enchaments though what would we gain? Do we completely take out Green?
Ya i would add no new auras, change the mana base, and add geist to make it bant bogle. The question is though: is 4 nobles, 4 misty's, and 2-4 other shocks with blue enough to support geist and should we move to 21 lands including dryad arbor to help hit our crucial three lands we'd need to cast geist.

You will have to change it to Troll Worship. There is no point in running Bogles if you plan to play Geist because Bogle thrives on low mana base. 20-21 lands and 4 Noble Hierarchs will not get you Geist out consistently.
It has potential but it lacks in consistency just like bogle but in a different way. It is slower but maybe more powerful in the long run and the mana base is even more effed up at times.
Witchstalker anyone? Anyone at all? It could fit a niche possibly.
What does Witchstalker do that we need? It's a 3 drop which is already too high in my taste. I don't think we will use it. The only cards we need are obvious redundancies. More 1 drop hexproof or better 1-2 drop enchantments which I do not believe are coming anytime soon.
I agree on BBearz (and many others).
I don't think any one will doubt that the main gameplan is to drop a hexproof guy right away on turn 1. It does not really matter if the guy is 1/1 or 3/3 or anything, as long as it has hexproof.
Having hexproof and beeing cheap are the 2 relevant factors on how to pick the creatures to play in Bogle. Spiritdancer is the only creature i can think of that is worth playing fullfilling only 1 of 2 needed factors (he is cheap at least), having the brutal card advantage and beatdown option.
The deck relies on hitting as soon as turn 2, having your opponent beaten down by Turn 3-5 (depending on the draw you get). If the deck could not manage that, it would not be competitive. Playing a cmc3 hexproof guy defies the aggro gameplan and is from my point of view way too slow. By the time you could land a cmc3 guy AND have him enchanted, you will lack the time to kill your opponent fast enough before he does.
Also it is questionable why one would not just play Silhana Ledgewalker if looking for more creatures. She has evasion, hexproof and is at a decent cmc2. Compare every new hexproof guy to her, and i guess you will find all others to be subpar.
As long as WotC does not decide to print another cmc1 Hexproof or cmc2 hexproof that is better than Ledgewalker (also note she is not played often anyways), we are pretty much settled on creature basis consisting of 4 Bogle, 4 Scouts and 2-4 Spiritdancers.
On a sidenote:
Whats with the rumors about Theros having an enchantment theme, that could add some decent drops.

The reason why you need umbras over Madcap is because you need to deal with Pyroclasms, FireSprouts, and wraths. Getting a someone online is one of the easier things to do. Trying to stop your opponent to deal with your creatures is another thing. For example I played Twin the other day that sideboarded in pyroclasms. Instead of playing T1 Bogle and risk allowing him to T2 Pyroclasm(he was on the go) and kill my bogle is because you can play bogle t2 with a umbra to protect it. Just some advice from my playtesting. Your deck seems very scary if they don't wrath/pyroclasm you but I'm going to bet they do since Scapeshift, Twin, and UWR are all played a lot. This deck is inherently resistant against wrath. We just need to deal with combo and spellskite now.
The Red splash idea isn't terrible for another reason: You can run Flame Slash to pick off those opposing Spellskites. Ditto on cheap artifact destruction.

You can't always win, and just because you lose doesn't mean you played badly.
Even if you lose, it is important to remain confident in your ability to make good plays and decisions. Lose that and you are truly lost.
Testing is great, and the better the testing is, the better off you'll be.
It is impossible to tilt and play well.
It is possible to make no mistakes and still lose.
is oath of the ancient woods any good for this deck? this is new from m14. i just thought this deck can check it out.

Why would you want to play Oath of the Ancient woods.
Not that i want to discard any new takes on Bogle, but a cmc3 enchantment that is not even an aura and requires you to drop enchantments - well it just doesnt cut the deal for me. Speaking a bit ironically, i would even rather play Boar Umbra than this
@Red Splash: Madcap Skills is really good, but then again the only card i would consider cutting for it would be 2 Spirit Mantle and a single Spider Umbra , to play 3 Madcap Skills.
I dont know if it is really worth the red splash. +3 and pseudo evasion for cmc2 is nice though.... have been thinking about it too.
So far, blue has the more relevant options to me though, since you can play that +2/+2 Flying cmc2 enchantment and stuff your sideboard with stuff like Spell Pierce and all to go on a more stable route G2 - just some sketching here i still think straight G/W just is brutal enough.
but a creature can get +1 +1 when you drop oath itself. making boglles bigger especially with ethereal armor. anyway, just an idea. i will be playing with some of my friends this week using this.

Yeah but the thing is, for a cmc3 spell, it requires you to do a lot to actually be good.
I would like to point at my Boar Umbra comparison again - Board Umbra pumps by 3 right away; just that would require the Oath to be followed up by 2 enchantments. And Boar Umbra provides with a totem armor, too.
Not that i would want to play Boar Umbra, but even Boar Umbra seems better.
But i'd be glad to hear about your results with Oath - let us know

has any 1 tried a blue splash to have access to protection g2? Or do you think that is not needed?
Lets put the mana base discussion aside for starters, i just want to point out if splashing blue could be good
Playing the cmc2 flying enchantment main...instead of Spirit Mantle maybe and having spell pierce in the sideboard. Any 1 has some thoughts or experience on this?
PS: i dont mean to play Geist or such, the creature base stays the same, the question is if it provides additional good elements enchantment and sideboard wise

The great Eldrazi Overlords will return to the Modern World.
My anecdote beginning to play with this deck is very sad and amusing. Put together a list last night on Cockatrice maindecking a couple Pithing Needle, 4 Spiritdancer + 2 Keen sense, 19 lands counting Arbor.
First game, opponent plops down a T1 Birds. Thought nothing of it, went for T2 Spirit Mantle on Bogle so I could swing in immediately (in hindsight I play Keen Sense because why would he block anyway but whatever). He plays T2 Liliana. -_- But it's cool because he doesn't have anymore removal and I get myself back in it with Spiritdancer zooming through my deck. Unfortunately, nine lands later I found myself unable to answer Olivia Voldaren when I didn't have the gas to make my Scout bigger than my would-be stolen Spiritdancer.
Next game no dudes in opening seven. Mull to six no dudes, mull to five no dudes... decided to keep and hope to rip dudes because it's otherwise a pretty good hand. I know the deck can mull to 4 but it's so risky, particularly against Liliana and my hand was otherwise good enough I didn't want to chance it. I forfeit on Turn 6 when I drew my sixth land and not one dude yet (besides an easily-killed Dryad Arbor I fetched up in vain).
Play some other guy. T1 Bogle, T2 Hyena + Spider Umbras. I never drew another nonland card as I quite easily failed to whittle away at my opponent three damage at a time, getting chump blocked more than once too, before T7 Violent Outburst into Living End spelled defeat. (He left after the one game.)
Seriously come on now, how unlucky do I have to be to flood out 3-for-3 with a 19-land deck? I had to quit for the night after that last game, I mean obviously the luck gods just did not want me to win.

Potentials??
Curiosity (Probably don't need this with Kor Spiritdancer)
Eel Umbra (Not Good)
Favor of the Overbeing (on Bogle would be nice)
Flight (Not as good as Spider Umbra)
Spectral Flight (slower than Spider Umbra)
I'm guessing we would change up the Mana-base some and only bring in Geist of Saint-Traft as opposed to just going Blue White.
