How has everyone been doing with Scapeshift since the recent bannings? I have been encountering a lot of control decks and I am having the toughest time against them to be honest. Geist of Saint Traft is too powerful and I have recently changed my list and I am running 4 Pyroclasm as a way to deal with him and aggro lists that I am sure are going to be every where if Control really starts to shine.
My list is now this. If anyone wouldn't mind critiquing, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've upped my Pyroclasm count to 3 in the MB to help with GoST. I honestly don't think the matchup is that bad, but Geist is certainly a pain. I find if we can answer their early aggression, they can't match our mid-late game. We also get out of Mana Leak range early. Keeping a hand with Search for Tomorrow if possible helps to avoid Spell Snare I think your list looks really well positioned again the deck TBH.

Solemn Simulacrum[/CARD] will be my test this week. I think in the Sideboard, but he seems like a boss against Geist and Midrange.
Hawksoc, I like the list, glad to hear it's working for you. How was Inferno Titan in the SB and what matches did you bring it in for? Did you find Solemn was worth the MB slot?

I'm going to be trying Volcanic Fallout to deal with GoST, he's a PITA!
Maybe this is just based on how I fetch mana, but I rarely have double red that early. Do you think that could be an issue?

It's definitely sketchy imo. I really don't want to be digging for 2 mountains withing the first 3 turns but I don't want to lose to Gost on turn 5 either. I think it can be done easily with the amount of ramp we run and the number of mountains. I'm going to be trying 2 fallout in the sb. I've got a ptq this weekend, it's either Scapshift or Grixis Twin for me and I know there will be a significant amount of UWR and GoST running around. I think a 2/2 split of clasm/fallout should be sufficient, I also run 3 Electrolyze and 2 Izzet Charm atm but I may switch out the third Electrolyze for the 4th Cryptic and I haven't even settled on the sb yet.
Negates out of the board also help, along with Cryptic. Sometimes I hate remand.
Negate isn't too effective against GoST, haha. I actually don't care for Cryptic Command too much. I started with 4, now I only use 2. Too often I have it countered or ripped from my hand.
Can this deck afford to play Delay or Mana Leak? I really have a soft spot for Delay and I would love to use that card again.

Lol, I actually came back to say that about Negate, so dumb sometimes. Give Delay a shot, I've considered it but I have to pick up more since I only have one.
Also Cryptic is awesome, let them take it or counter it, let them waste more resources. It's better than having your Scapeshift taken or countered.

Delay seems solid actually, but is it better than Remand? (I get the sense people are cooling on Remand, and I admit, there are matches I simply hate it as well).
I wonder if Remand is something that can be cut. While I love the digging and using it on my Scapeshift, I usually have very mixed feelings about this card.

willier, I think it is meta dependent. Remand is pretty good against Tron but it isn't that great against UWx decks, and Negate is beast out of the sb against UWx. I don't advocate cutting Remand but running other counters along with Remand and CC.
I can name plenty more scenarios where Remand is just terrible. Remand is Remand, it is not really really powerful and it's not really really bad, It just is what it is and I think it's safe to start exploring other options and combinations of our counter package.
Yes, this deck is a combo deck but we have to stay alive long enough to get that combo off, so that means we have to play ramp, tempo, and control. I'd say we are a control deck with a combo finish, we cannot just blindly ramp and then go for Scapeshift all the time. This deck isn't fast enough to ignore everything else.
Is Remand good? Yes? Does it have matchups where it's outright bad? Yes. Rxavage nailed it earlier when he said it was meta-dependant.
It's keeping it's slot in my list for now, but I agree that augmenting it in the SB is a good idea. Spell Pierce is in my SB currently, but Negate, Dispel, Mana Leak, Delay all seem viable.

I agree entirely with this. I look at Scapeshift as a control deck that finishes with a combo, whereas most control decks finish with creatures. We play Permission the whole game until we win.

Against Jund I usually find my self siding out a number of counter spells. They usually are the weakest in the Jund match up, how many and what depends on how many you run and how many cards you have that will out do counters. Without BBE though, counters don't feel as terrible now.
Green is also needed more early, and I like to avoid Bolting myself when possible. I tried going to a 3/3 Tarn Rainforest split, and I changed right back to a 2/4.
My list is now this. If anyone wouldn't mind critiquing, it would be greatly appreciated.
2 Snapcaster Mage
4 Sakura-Tribe Elder
Spells
2 Serum Visions
3 Spell Pierce
3 Izzet Charm
3 Pyroclasm
4 Remand
4 Peer Through Depths
4 Search for Tomorrow
4 Scapeshift
2 Cryptic Command
3 Mountain
3 Forest
3 Island
4 Misty Rainforest
4 Steam Vents
4 Stomping Ground

1 Flooded Grove
2 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle

Also, it's best if we don't let GoST resolve
I would normally agree on this as well, but, Remand can only do so much.

scalding tarn potentially better fetch land in certain circumstances than Misty Rainforest as it can fetch nearly every non-valakut target in the deck Breeding Pool Steam Vents Stomping Grounds AND most importantly MOUNTAIN
