^ funny, whenever I decide to try out some deck, you are there...
First 3 times I tried this out, perfect turn 3s. and the 4th time was turn 4. And the fifth time was turn 5 cuz i never saw a pentad before going off. But, pretty sweet pile.
I like that this deck can't be hit by graveyard hate, makes all kinds of sense to play it in that regard. Pithing needle on lightning storm/assault an issue? I'd think it'd be pretty easy to protect the win-con being able to draw your whole deck (bounce/destroy needles/canonist/etc. with pacts and such after an AdN), and boseiju in the deck actually seems warranted.
Tested against GW Vengevine and won 2-0
Tested against Unknown Deck And won 2-0
Tested against Eggs and won 2-0
Tested against 5 color zoo and won 2-1
Tested against red fling affinity and won 2-0
Tested against Ravager Affinity and won 2-1
Tested against Erayo Affinity and won 2-1
Tested against UB control and won 2-0
Tested against GW Tokens and lost 1-2
Overall great performance
My rating: 11/10
My new favorite deck!
Final Record
17-5
8-1
GW tokens can be beat after sideboarding for the infests, but in G1 he won with Moorland Haunt + Intangible Virtue, G2 I won by killing tokens as they came with a combo of spell pierce (My own addition), and infest
G3 was a disaster, he got 2 spirit tokens on turn 2 with Midnight Haunting, then got 2 intangible virtues out by T4, and killed me easily swarming me to death. This was partially due to a misplay by me dropping a lot of life to fetchlands and catacombs/fountain at the beginning when unnecessary.
^yeah, the list i tweaked from a few pages back doesn't have any banned cards in it (the straight up draw only no teachings version), so I don't know what he's talking about.
The newest banned cards are nactl and punishing fire, neither of which would ever be used in this deck.
Absolutely nothing got banned from the list in the OP. (Heck yes!) However, it seems that UR Storm and Jund are major players, Zoo, Teachings, Exarch Twin, Affinity, RDW, and Melira Pod are still kicking around, and Martyr Proc, Merfolk, Thresh variants, and UW Tron are on the rise. The sideboard might need to be tweaked.
Also, what is the absolute maximum damage Ad Nauseam-Angel's Grace can deal to a player, assuming a Turn 4 win? (This knowledge would be useful if you're up against Martyr Proc.)
More testing:
1-0 vs Martyr Proc
2-1 vs Mono- Black Discard
1-1 vs Merfolk
Somewhat limited results
Against Merfolk, Game one is very difficult, but after SB for infests in G2 you can win quite easily.
The game dropped to Mono Black was because he got a liliana resolved and managed to discard all of my win conditions so I was forced to concede.
EDIT:
Testing
2-0 vs Mono- Black discard
Tough G2, but have I got a story for you:
G1 he got a resolved liliana on 6 and I managed to pull the win before he could ultimate
G2, though, is the real story
He discarded all of the combo pieces I drew, and got a batterskull and a 2/2 out. I was trying to stay alive, and With something like 12 available mana, I drew ad nauseam. I used it w/o unlife/grace and managed to draw a land, and then ANGEL'S GRACE. Dropped the angel's grace and won. Biggest- Risk- EVER.
Im pretty sure trickbind doesnt work.
I should mention, NEVER discard more lands than necessary or the opponent can discard one and change the target to you.
^trickbind... i dunno, seems like it refers only to permanents with the 2nd part of the text, so you just lost a land, but you can still use it again after trickbind resolves? Am i reading it wrong?

Not that I know everything about everything, but I'm pretty sure you can't cast spells while Ad Nauseum is resolving.

Had semenulative upkeep before it was fashionable. Look what you forced me to do, Wizards! IT DIDN'T HAVE TO GO DOWN LIKE THIS!

Like I said, I can only go by my own experience, which is now 18 years. Kind of disheartening when you think you know something and you find out that you're a notch below a low grade moron.

As Ad Nauseam-Angel's Grace is not hit by some of the hate Storm faces, I'd still say it's worth it to slog through with this deck.

How should a list look? I can't find any in dailies, and it looks like most of the lists in this thread are outdated as of the bans.

I would imagine you just Angel's Grace in response, draw your deck, and combo off the following turn.
That is one way, the other being the pact of negations which are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!!
The deck is actually very cheap minus the mana base and the pacts.

I don't think so, Lightning Storm has a triggered ability while the spell is on the stack , and trickbind causes you to only hit by 3 damage.
