I think this depends on the actual build. The Miracles version with Terminus doesn't work at all without 3x Jace, the version with more traditional board wipes can function, although losing a few percentage points. Fact or Fiction is a great card advantage engine in the CMC4 slot, so you might want to try this one, however it does somewhat require Snapcaster Mage. Otherwise you could try going in a more midrangy direction with your deck, Geist of Saint Traft and Spell Queller are great additions here.
Two things jump out at me; Meddling Mage and the black sideboard plan.
Meddling Mage is not going to be at it's best in a deck with only 3 other creatures. Your opponent's removal is going to be rotting in hand and as soon as you name a key spell they are going to be able to kill your meddling Mage. Since it gains no value on entering the battlefield, this will always be a bad trade for you. Additionally, it plays really poorly with supreme verdict.
With regard to the black sideboard plan, you simply don't have enough black sources to reliably cast inquisition or fatal push. I counted 7 sources (4 flooded strand, 2 watery grave and 1 godless shrine). You really want 14 sources to reliably cast these spells early in the game.
The only other thing that really sticks out to me is Mishra's bauble; even without bauble you already have more cantrips and lands that most other lists are playing. This is going to lead to a lot of games where you are flooding or just spinning your wheels. You might want to consider some more 'action' spells in that slot.
Is this forum still active? I've really been looking for sources on UW control, being fairly over the SFM hype. I feel that the things this deck was doing before the release of SFM was much stronger than what the current SFM lists are doing.
I've been planning to take this list to Magicfest Utrecht side events and would really like some input:
I don't know about "classic" builds, but I did pretty well with this one between August and September, before switching to another deck (won two local tournaments, one top4 and one top8 out of seven total).
I need to agree on the SFM aspect you mentioned. There are a few things within the stock lists that I found a bit lacklustre though, T5feri for example doesn't feel very great and I'm not yet sure about the number of creatures in the deck. Mystic Sanctuary is already in the list, not sure whether I want 2 or even more of them and especially at the expense of what, probably Glacial Fortress. This is my current list:
T5feri could be Gideon, Ally of Zendikar for more pressure or just another Detention Sphere if it is the tuck ability of Teferi that matters. I briefly tried Torrential Gearhulk to close out games faster, it has turned out a little clunky though and I have gone up a second Clique, those are great with Narset und T3feri alike. Narset is also the reason I run Geier Reach Sanitarium, although maybe it should be another Sanctuary. I don't own Force of Negation, up until now I haven't greatly missed them to be honest though, most matches I played were against rather fair strategies.
Foud this list w/ crucibl which i thinkk acts as a 3 mana wrenn and six. it lets you draw every turn and make an additional landdrop, plus you get to explit the 3 mistic sanctuaries to remote-pilot spells from your graveyard to the top of ur deck
