That is a solid lot of cards that is very interactive with the format, creates lots of interesting decisions and work well together. This is the beginning of a Junk or Jund deck but I want to take it in a new direction with the next set of cards:
I love Profane Command, it is such a powerhouse card. It offers multiple routes to victory (black fireball/fear), staying power, board control and card advantage. I love the looping interaction between these two cards.

After tinkering with this idea for a few months I'm at a bit of a crossroads. Where do I take this shell?
Idea #1: Dungrove Elder and Friends.
Dungove Elder and Doran give me a sweet beat down plan. Dungrove loves Forest and Profane Command loves mana so I don't mind ramping or having extra lands around for this iteration. Running Treefolk also gives me access to a consistent Murmuring Bosk which is really powerful for colour fixing. Having access to white is great for SBing.
To shore up the non-interactive matches I've toyed with cutting the Tribe-Elders and adding +4x Tidehollow Sculler who is great coming back via Profane Command but who stretches the manabase quite a bit and doesn't enhance the ramp strategy. I was having to play Nameless Inversion to keep my Treefolk count up to use Murmuring Bosk. Which isn't so bad considering the power of going: Inquisition, Tidehollow, Doran, Profane for 2: bring back Tidehollow.
I haven't played this version much. I figure I'll need Damnation/Pulse to clean up whatever slips through. Nyxathid turns the game very quicly or Witness/Profane Command grind the game to a finish. This iteration leaves room for colourless lands like Tectonic Edge. This version is a lot like the old Tarmo/Rack decks using The Rack.
What are your thoughts? Where do you take those 23 cards I mentioned at the top? There's so much room for innovation in just those few slots.

I feel like Discard is a great way to keep the Modern fair. So I turned to cards like Nyxathid, Raven's Crime and Life From the Loam.
