GWB (junk) is a control deck that hates dredge, Countertop, and Weenie decks.
Our maindeck screws Countertop and Weenie pretty harshly.
Here's the list I'm testing with.
Pretty Cool, huh?
Creature Choices Knight of The Reliquary -Let's go you fetch up any land you need. You usually go get Treetop Village as another attacker, or counter their removal spell with a Sejiri Steppe 3-4 of. Qasali Pridemage - 2 mana 3/3. Disenchants. That's all that needs to be said. 4 of, no questions. Birds of Paradise In this deck, better than Noble Hierarch. This card let's you pump out a turn 2 Arena, or Nighthawk. Great carrier of Jitte or a Sword post sideboard. 2 or 4 of. Wall of Omens Who hates RDW and Goblins? This guy! In addition, it draws you a card. 4, but only in Heavy aggro meta. Glissa, the Traitor Another "wall" against Goblins and other stupid zoo decks. This card always kills creatures. You can also recur the dredge hate post sideboard. 1 md, 1 sb Vampire Nighthawk Who hates Goblins and RDW? This guy! Again, 2/3 isn't bolt proof, but will block everything that Goblins will play, and gain you life against RDW and burn. 3-4 of
Removal Card Choices Path to Exile Gives them a land, no big deal. With all of the shockland decks running around, this might just be a 1 mana remove target creature. 2-4 of Oblivion Ring This card gets rid of pesky permanents. 3 of, maybe 4 if we really need the extra removal. Maelstorm Pulse - Same as pulse, screws tokens and when your opponent plays 2 Gofy's or Wild Nacatls. 3-4 of. If Valakut becomes an issue, Beast Within can be a replacement.
Disruption Distress You always want this card on turn 2. You can take a combo piece, removal to beat in with a Knight. You can take a gofy + other annoying creatures. Duress The 2 life lost from Thought Seize is to much of a drawback for this deck. You'll be taking so much damage from your fetches and shocklands and the arena, that Duress is just better. This hits basically everything you'll want to kill against combo.
Other Cards Phyrexian Arena Card advantage. 4 is to many, 1 is not enough. I'm thinking three is the right number, but 2 seems to be working right now. 2-3 Profane Command The namesake of the deck. This card will win you the game. If you have enough creatures to Alpha strike, you can hit your opponents life, and give an unblockable swing. 1-2 Garruk Wildspeaker The better version of Elspeth in this deck. This card is much easier to cast, and will help you Alpha Strike more than Elspeth ever can. 2-3
Deck Overview.
With a turn one birds, you can play everything in your deck on turn 3. A turn 2 Knight, with 2 Lands in the yard is very powerful.
Your goal is to hate out every matchup, shut down your opponent's plans, then kill them.
This deck is a homebrew that I have tested, it beats basically all aggro decks. It beats fish decks. The hardest matchup is Countertop and T.E.S
Let me know what you think.
1) Sensei's top is banned in Modern, so don't worry about countertop decks dominating.
2) Umezawa's Jitte is also banned, but the swords are super duper sweetness anyway.
3) Thoughtseize is pretty much strictly better than Distress in your list, lifeloss will not matter in the long run if you can stop your opponent a turn earlier.
4) Although I love Phyrexian Arena to bits, your deck should be more aggressive and run Dark Confidant.
5) Wall of Omens seems like it doesn't belong either. You need to end the game quickly if you aren't going to pack blue for more disruption.

[center]The best combo in Modern is now unbanned, yay!!!

I disagree with the wall of omens thing. Wall cantrips, then blocks aggro decks. I take them out against control decks.
I don't want to play Rock, so I don't really like Dark Confidant. I'm going to take 3 damage from it on average, and my opponent knows what I've drawn. I do gain a lot of life from the Nighthawks, but Arena is just better ihmo.

So this is just a Junk deck? Why is it called Reliquary Command? I was expecting some Reliquary tower deck with a bunch of the Lorwyn Commands or something. Not Junk...

Glissa is a house in this deck. Hierarch doesn't give us a turn 2 Nighthawk or Arena. I'm getting Kozilek's to replace the distress's. Elspeth doesn't win us the game like Garruk does, but I may put her as a one of. I don't have Dark confidants, however, I don't really see the big deal. IMO Arena is better in thsi deck.

In modern, IOK is pretty close to thoughtseize if not equal in power level. Losing 2 life is a lot with shocklands.
And don't foul yourself, arena is not better than confidant. One is 20$ and the other 3$ but confidant is much better.

Dark Confidant is very good, I'll admit that, however, it is very finicky. I will only be taking a max of 4 damage, however, I would just rather have the arena. That just my opinion.

Saying something doesn't make it true. You can't even use her recursion abilities in game one, and you already have a better deathtouch creature in Vampire Nighthawk.
Hierarch doesn't give us a turn 2 Nighthawk or Arena.
Again, wrong. GB land, Hierarch, untap, any B land, 1BB to mana pool. The mana in this format is easy enough that this should not be a problem.
Elspeth doesn't win us the game like Garruk does
Yeah, because Garruk's overrun is so synergistic with your Wall of Omens. C'mon.
I don't have Dark confidants, however, I don't really see the big deal. IMO Arena is better in thsi deck.
Sorry if you don't own them, but they're better. Because it costs less mana, and can attack the opponent (for five with an Elspeth) and carry your swords (that should be in the main deck anyway).

Anyway.
Thoughtseize>Inquisition of Kozilek>Duress>Distress
Dark Confidant>Phyrexian Arena
Elspeth, Knight-Errant>Garruk Wildspeaker
Noble Hierarch>Birds of Paradise
Wall of Omens seems really awkward here, and I don't think Glissa, the Traitor even does anything worthwhile.
Edit: Oh, hey, Modern is a format.
