The goal of this deck is to use your Myr as fuel for your Thopter Foundry, constantly feeding them into a cycle. Tempered Steel gives a nasty edge to your Myr or Thopter tokens, allowing you to beat your opponent into submission.
Spot removal isn't a big concern for this deck, since most of the creatures in it are meant to die, and if your more important artifacts die, they can be retrieved with Myr Retriever.
The sideboard's designed to shut down combos, deal with artifacts or enchantments and to counter dredge or other decks that rely on the graveyard. I'm not sure what sort of top decks there will be in Modern just yet, so the sideboard will most likely be modified accordingly.
