Why use Horizon Canopy? There are plenty B&W cards that allow for drawing. You don't use green at all...
Because extending utility even to your lands is a good idea. Late game I'll gladly trade a useless land for another card. It is essentially a plains that lets me trade it for a card later on!
Definitely needs a way to power through some decks like Jund and Cryptic. Maybe a bigger Stoneforge package with Feast and Famine?
With all of the discard I'm packing I don't fear Cryptic Command decks as much as I fear Jund, and this is assuming Jund is even worth playing in this format with all of the combo decks that will undoubtedly see play.
I agree about SoFaF. I had it main initially, and removed it for SoLaS for the lifegain, but I may make the switch back as the discard seems to fit the deck better.
You NEED batterskull, otherwise you're going to get eaten alive by zoo with how suicidal you are.
Second, as an avid fan of tidehollow sculler, I would really look over your deck list, because you're going to get torn up by punishing fire killing every creature you decide to drop down. It wouldn't be a bad idea to splash a little bit more green for Knight of the Reliquary (relevant card advantage, the most efficient creature in the format, mana fixing, etc). Second, green is a VERY relevant color in the format considering it gives you some great options to deal with other stoneforge mystic decks (pridemage, krosan grip etc) as well as Maelstrom Pulse, Beast Within, Putrefy, etc.
I would cut the squadron hawks, they're just not that relevant in a format like this. They're definitely good, but I think the format is too fast to be wasting 4 slots on hawks, when they could easily be knights, or elspeths, or even obliterators instead.
Black White (with a splash of something else) will definitely be a good choice for the format, I like the list, but it definitely needs some refining and playtesting, especially with consideration to what the power cards/decks are in the format.
4x Squadron Hawk
4x Dark Confidant
4x Tidehollow Sculler
4x Thoughtseize
4x Inquisition of Kozilek
2x Dismember
4x Path to Exile
4x Bitterblossom
1x Sword of Fire and Ice
1x Sword of War and Peace
1x Sword of Feast and Famine
4x Marsh Flats
4x Godless Shrine
4x Fetid Heath
4x Swamp
4x Plains
Very rough around the edges. Needs input.

Loxodon Warhammer might actually help you out too? Add that to the fetch package?
