I suppose from your answers and the lists running 4x esper charm that it is a must. Sometimes you just can't see the convenience of a card until you test it by yourself.
Playing path to exile is clear once you decide to run white. Are there any other white cards to consider? Maybe Baneslayer angel could do it well as finisher.
Most of us have deviated from the whole teferi + fatty win condition because it is in fact bad in modern. I tend to rely on snapcaster mage and a few man lands. white sun's zenith isn't to bad either, and planeswalkers although sorcery speed are also better than fatties.

So after scanning through the decklists and seeing what cards I had available to me, I began working on modern control. Up to this point I've been playing Living End, but the PTQ season is coming up rapidly and I love me a good control deck. After scouring the mothership's archives I did come across the french's Dralnu du Louvre deck. Now I don't think Dralnu himself is very good, but with the cards I had available I think a U/B Teachings deck could be well positioned. I know its not the trendy thing, as esper teachings would be sweeter ( <3 esper charm) but I have a severe lack of Hallowed Fountains, and the less painful the mana base the better! Here is my first crack...
There are def some sketchy cards here, the 3 cryptics for example... Its just lack of card availability at this time, trust be, I'd be rolling with 4 if I could! I'm still working on getting a fourth (I know this ain't budget!). Rewind also seems a bit sketchy but its a solid counter and you get to untap lands to power up dreadship reef. Obviously snapcaster is stupid good in this deck. My only concern is the lack of quality card draw, I was thinking of playing a jace's ingenuity somewhere in there but cannot fit it in. Rune Snag is bad because of snapcaster. Other than that, I just wanted to try and get some discussion going in this thread!

4 Rewind 3 Cryptic Command? Those look way too expensive to me. Try replacing at least some of the Rewinds with more lands, cheap counterspells, removal, targeted discard, or Vendilion Cliques.

Agreed, Clique is just too good to pass up running at least one of as a teachings target. Also Rewind seems pretty meh, I think a singleton specific counter spell that you can tutor up would be a better choice. I like Cryptic though, it's still as strong as ever and I wouldn't recommend running less than 3 if you have the mana base to support the steep cost of triple blue.
As for card draw? Esper charmEsper charmEsper charmEsper charm a million times Esper charm. It is soooo good. It also doubles as MD enchantment hate and triples as instant speed discard that can run a lot of aggro decks out of steam early enough for you to stabilize.
