Hey guys, I've wanted to play Ninja of the Deep Hours in modern for the longest time, so I decided to build a Delver Tempo-Control deck. This was the first list, solely Uw:
Basically added red for more Gut Shot and EE support, as well as the singleton smelt (after realizing how badly this deck folds to a resolved shackles. Gut shot is amazing out of the side against Raffinity, Bant and Naya, and helps shore up the RUg match a bit. RUg is very difficult to beat, and I'm actually considering just building a RUg Delver deck with Ninja in it, but I wanna try this out first, mostly because of PTE, Moorland Haunt, and life gain out of the side.
Any constructive advice?
EDIT: Also! Amazing synergy: Familiar's Ruse + Snapcaster Mage = You Lose! haha jk, but it still feels so brutal

No room for Vendilion Clique? Also has nice synergy with Familiar's Ruse and provides some nice hand disruption for blue.
Yea I actually remembered that guy like 4 minutes after posting the 2nd version of the deck. I'm testing him right now on cockatrice. My username is pyro314 if you're online and want to watch or test

I was looking at doing something like this but with more ninjas ornithopters and grand architect as a field pump effect and equipment enabler. I really like your spellbase though, except i think familiar's ruse could be an equipment source like runechanter's pike or sword of feast and famine/war and peace

Decks I have in my bag of tricks- Needless to say, someone who wants to play will probably have a deck UB/x Faeries UR Storm XURWB Affinity G Elves UW control
Doesn't ninja need at least 8 one drops to be of good value? Returning a delver, specifically a flipped one is terrible. Some cards you want to consider
If you just want to play NotDH and not build around the other ninjas, Faeries is the way to go. You could even go with a "general tempo" build without resigning yourself to any one camp.

Thank you for this positive criticism. I'm going to test that first list, because it looks pretty solid, though with the following changes:
-1 Vendilion Clique, -1 Mana Leak, +2 Spell Snare.

First to spot removals.
Second you dont need to bounce a fliped delver, this is just stupid, keep attacking and bounce any other creatures like jace phantasm, snap, trutter.
Third even a bounced flipped delver still a better drop then any other options.
But the deck relly need baits for removal. I will post my list soon...
if this isnt working you should play pauper there is a tier 1 deck that is extremly similar to this and it is signifigantly cheaper and tons of fun too

Spellstutter Sprite also seems really out of place with no other faeries.
FREE BLOODBRAID ELF
UB/x Faeries
UR Storm
XURWB Affinity
G Elves
UW control
Zephyr Sprite
phantasmal bear
jace's phantasm
the sprite combos with spellstutter
4x Vendilion Clique
3x Ninja of the Deep Hours
3x Pestermite
4x Spellstutter Sprite
4x Remand
3x Familair's Ruse
4x Cryptic Command
3x Vedalken Shackles
3x Faerie Conclave
17x Island
That general idea would work, Faeries with Snappy and Ruse to build more tempo. You could also tweak it to be even less reliant on Faeries:
4x Vendilion Clique
4x Ninja of the Deep Hours
3x Venser, Shaper Savant
3x Pestermite/Sage Owl
4x Mana Leak
3x Familiar's Ruse
4x Cryptic Command
3x Vedalken Shackles
3x Faerie Conclave
17x Island
No testing done, but you get the idea

Please listen to this!
Delver doesn't mix with Ninjas. Someone advised you to go Ninja Faeries which is tempo and has synergy.
Ninja are good with a deck with a lot of creatures with evasion and come into play abilities, which is Faeries.
Judge's Familiar is not a fairy.
