no zoo in the meta? i played 3 rounds of it in my two last dailys
What were the records? I'm sure Zoo is still around and being played somewhere, but its just not putting up results... anywhere. At least not that I've seen. It's not the boogeyman people thought it was, and I suspect that it wasn't, even before the bans.
What I'm wondering is where we can get paper PTQ results. I haven't seen them posted here, on the mothership, or anywhere else that I searched. Am I doin' it wrong?
I think these two are the same deck. I played in the Portland PTQ and a bunch of the better Seattle players were playing RUG splashing W for Path to Exile. It was a really strange deck as it was running at least 3 Desperate Ravings, though it looked really strong.
Not very from what I see. That was why I said to drop it down to developing. I think a higher echelon for the top 3 decks is in order. Much like that of the Legacy forum. That would make more sense than dropping all the other decks down.

In case I didn't tell you, I don't care about your opinion I just want your facts. And not the facts that make you seem smart. I want the ones that are actual facts.

You're right; it was splashing W for Path. Oops. And it was running 4 Ravings.
The Seattle deck was quite different. 8 total PWs (Garruk1+jace1+AjaniV), Bant Charms, no ravings or path.
I don't know; I have yet to hear back from the_cardfather as to what exactly is allowed.
if you can pm me the rug list splashing white that ran desperate ravings, i would greatly appreciate it.

Like I said, I can only go by my own experience, which is now 18 years. Kind of disheartening when you think you know something and you find out that you're a notch below a low grade moron.

Sorry about that. I tried to respond in my helpdesk, but the forum software ate it. You saw the global that posted on the issue. We're still discussing the "what links are allowed" on the grand scale in the long run. PM me the link and I'll copy/paste them if I have to.
Edit: I'm kind of hoping Mike Flores covers them tomorrow in Top Decks.
Edit2: I'm 99% positive that you can put a link in a PM if it was requested as long as it doesn't contain links to illegal stuff that could get the site in trouble, so its ok to PM him the link as well.
Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.
The PTQs are in the Decks of the Week at Daily MTG now. It looks like a lot of Exarch Twin, Affinity, and Jund, with some Melira Pod, RUG Tempo Thresh, and UB Tempo thrown in (and the occasional rogue deck, of course).

Is it just me or.. what happened to Zoo?
(Points assigned for MTGO Premier Events and PTQ Top 8 with the PTQ getting slightly more (8/6 vs 6/4).

Apparently, the margin Zoo had over Jund/Affinity pre-ban was less than the power provided by Nacatl.

I wouldn't put too much stuck in Premier events so far, since they have been pretty small. (Scheduling one very close to an online PTQ, for instance, doesn't really help attendance.)
Oh...and are you counting the top16 from the PTQ in Bologna? That apparently had the highest attendance so far (334). (Not posted on the official site for some reason.)
This is off topic, but you know warez, porn, drugs, and other stuff you aren't allowed to post here. Posting links to that kind of stuff gets you banned. So those are things I wouldn't put it in PM's either.

Hahahaha oh wow, where is our good ol' modern expert slipknot now? I wish he'd come back just to read this.
So apparently the meta at the top tables is a lot of twin and affinity, some jund and occassionally delver decks?
delver is too high variance, jund preys in everything not tier 1 and is well positioned against affinity but loses to twin.
looks paper scissors rock to me with high variance decks showing up here in there. No reason to play control or any aggro other than affinity unless you like coin flips in which case delver is your deck.

Thanks for those. I had seen a few of the top 8 lists, but not all. Are there deck lists anywhere?
There are, but apparently it would violate the forum rules to provide you a link unless I took the time to individually copy all of the decklists.
