I have lost many times to this card, as an Amulet player as you can all imagine. But Blood Moon is a necessary card for the format and it's as safe as it gets. It won't happen and whoever wants Blood Moon banned does not understand the nature of the game and how a hate card can keep in check various strategies. Without Blood Moon, Bant Eldrazi, RG Valakut and Gx Tron strategies would be a lot stronger. Notta, I have to pass on this.

^Exactly.
SSG needs to go, it's entire use in modern in degenerate combos and prison style locks with T1 Chalice, T2 BM/Bridge/etc. As for Dredge I'd say all WotC needs to do is undo Cathartic Reunion.
SSG is a (nearly) uncounterable one-time mana ramp that is played at instant speed. Even when Green ramps, you usually can interact with them.
So if there were to be a ban, it would be SSG. Then again, apart from Ad Nauseum, no other tier deck really uses SSG. So even SSG is safe in my books, until a deck (or decks) form around it that become extremely oppressive. Turn 1 chalice on 1 or 2 is gross, but those decks win at FNMs, not GPs.
Even Ponza finds SSG unfit to cheat BM in early. Like BM, SSG means your deck has to make some concessions. The only deck that really abuses SSG is Ad Nauseum, and Colorless Eldrazi (which isnt really a thing anymore, anyway).
Ladies and Gentlemen, it has become clear that at the current time, the banned and restricted thread is not a productive or healthy environment for reasonable discussion of the modern format.
While there were already plans in place to phase-out the B&R thread in its current form with the next announcement, based on recent events and an increase in wanton and unnecessary reporting activity between users, we have decided to move up the timetable on this transition. The B&R thread has been locked for the time being, and its replacement thread (complete with some more detailed guidelines and rules) will go live by Monday (probably sooner).
In the mean time, if you wish to talk about the modern format, ban list, metagame, or reprint policies, please take it to the "State of the Meta Thread". Note that we will be closely monitoring and policing this thread for the remainder of the weekend, and we expect all posts in that thread to be substantive, well reasoned, and productive; dismissive comments or spam posting will not be tolerated. If you don't have anything productive to say, don't say it.
Any questions or concerns regarding this change should be directed to the moderator staff, not vented in the public threads. Based on the success so far of the "State of the Meta" thread, we hope that the coming changes will be both more free-flowing for the discussion of perceived issues with modern, and better at promoting meaningful and insightful content and discussion.

Legacy: RUG Lands
EDH: Sidisi turn-3 storm
As long as Blood Moon isn't being ramped out by turn 1 or 2 by SSG it's fine. Turn 2 Blood Moon basically reads "game over" for way too many decks.
The problem in that scenario is SSG, not BM.
