What cards do you want BANNED in Modern? - Multiple Choice

I will not be replying to rebuttals that are not at least as fleshed out as my assertion. If you're grown up enough to use the internet, you are grown up enough to understand that posturing, nit picking, and corner cases are not enough to constitute a rebuttal to an argument. You will attack my argument in full or you will not be getting a response from me.
Quote from Ym1r »I would also like to predict the results of this poll on the basis of previous polls. Regarding bans, the majority will go with no bans. It has been a trend for a long while in modern community (and a healthy one I must say) to not want any more bans and just let the meta game evolve. I am pretty confident that Wizards has reflected upon this, especially when it comes to modern, and will indeed stay away from bans unless there is a pressing need (i.e. Eldrazi Winter). I am pretty sure we will see no bans until the Pro Tour, and then they will re-evaluate their data. For now, I believe that the community (of this forum at least) will keep its position of no bans.
Regarding bans, we will probably see again BBE and SFM at the top of the standings followed by JTMS. It is interesting to see that no matter how many months and discussions have passed, the MTGS community still advocates for the same unbans, even though we have gone through multiple different meta games over the last 2 years with different decks at the top. This, to me, says that indeed the MTGS community is directed mostly towards "fair" magic combined (maybe) with a bit of nostalgia for certain cards.
It would be interesting, after the results of this poll, to make a comparison between poll results over the last 1-2 years and see how (or if) the trends align with meta-game changes.
Quote from spawnofhastur »It's less "want" and more "doesn't understand why these cards are still banned in the first place", but JTMS, Stoneforge Mystic, and Bloodbraid Elf.
No desired bans.
Quote from Pokken »I voted GSZ, dig, and stoneforge, as I generally do though I could easily include BBE.
I'm always surprised to see so many people skip over GSZ. It's a startlingly fair magic card that would give Green the consistency boost to not have to rely on black or blue for every iteration, and likely create some new fair decks.
Dig was banned prematurely in my opinion, particularly with probe now gone it's unlikely to be too strong, and would provide a reasonably fair draw engine that blue based control decks and tempo decks are missing. Yes, it'd make RUG Scapeshift a deck, yes it'd possibly require a banning of Storm, but I honestly don't care. I think the positives would be worth that.
Stoneforge is obvious.

Quote from Billiondegree »I actually voted for Tronlands, because Eldrazi Tron would not nearly be as good without them. Also I just think that turn 3 karn is dumb

That's pretty interesting. Is it dumb compared to say, turn 3 lethal from a bunch of vengevines and hollow ones?
This is an opinion poll, rather than a logic poll, so I can't and won't encourage you to change your vote. Maybe you could explain what you mean though in a bit of detail so I can see where you're coming from. Let's just say I don't understand your position and I'd like to know more
