I actually think that the UR version is overall better in the meta. It is the quickest and the most Aggro of all versions. Most of the time, you don't need hate. You just need to crush as efficiently as you can and with Eldrazi Obligator and even Vile Aggregate, it can be super quick.
Now in theory though, the UW version should do better because it goes "big." But in actual practice, I'm not sure how this plays out. I'm 2-0 only vs. UW so far.

Round 1 vs. Ad Nauseam. I came off pretty quickly with Eldrazi Obligators and finished him off with Smashers in both games. In game 2, I still had Stubborn Denial up, so there literally was no chance for him. 2-0.
Round 2 vs. BW Hate Bears. I have drawn well against this guy many times before and am lifetime 17-1 vs. him (I checked kavu.ru). He draws very averagely and I crush through, causing him to concede before lethal both games. 2-0.
Round 3 vs. RUG Prowess. In game 1 at 14 life, I don't block a Monastery Swiftspear. Big mistake. He does double Mutagenic Growth and Become Immense after he had done double Gitaxian Probe already. In the next game, he turn 2s me. He does 3 Gitaxian Probe, double Mutagenic Growth, and Temur Battle Rage for game. 0-2.
Round 4 vs. Jund. I draw slow hands, but the hands start to take off. He gets crushed in the midgame and I nearly had Eye of Ugin up in game 2. 2-0.
Round 5 vs. Mono Black Control. He got me in game 1 because I may have made a mistake. He got out Phyrexian Obliterator and capitalized on the mistake. I got stranded with Eldrazi Obligator in hand at 1 life and only Shivan Reef and colorless to cast it. I get the nuts in game 2 while he gets stuck on 1 land. In the final game, a good curve in the midgame destroys any hope he had. 2-1.
Round 6 vs. RUG Kiki. I do Mimic into Thought-Knot Seer. He scoops. In the next game, I get a super quick hand and put too much pressure on. He scoops. 2-0.
I ended up first place because I was the only one to play it out in the last round, so I was 5-1. (2nd and 3rd were 4-0-2 and 4th-7th were 4-1-1)

Exactly the same 60 as the Pro Tour winner. Just a couple of cards changed in the SB.
I played at a 25 player GPT today. Pretty disappointed in my finish.
Round 1 vs. Infect. I play bigger creatures and crush. Endless One into Eldrazi Obligator is a strong start. In the next game, he gets me with Inkmoth Nexus swinging 3 times with double exalted. My hand that I kept was Vile Aggregate, double Spellskite, Dismember, and I drew all lands for the rest of the cards. In the next game, I make a mistake of swinging all out, leaving him at 1. He had 9 points potentially, but it was not enough. With him tapped out, I had lethal already, but drew Reality Smasher to just be sure. 2-1.
Round 2 vs. Junk. I win both games after some removal by drawing Drowners of Hope. 2-0.
Round 3 vs. Elves. I punt the first game after swinging with too many creatures and he drew Ezuri and already had another Nykthos in hand (which I knew already from TKS). I take a couple over lethal. I win the next game with large creatures and a Thought-Knot Seer. 2-1.
Round 4 vs. Affinity. ID 0-0-3.
Round 5 vs. UR Delver. ID 0-0-3.
Top 8 vs. Nacatl Burn. I mull to 5. I scry Eldrazi Temple on top and have 1 in hand already with Reality Smasher and another land. I crush him. In the next game, I mull a 4 land (non Eye, non Temple) hand. Then I get 0 land and 0 land. I have 4 cards with 0 land again. I keep and scry Eye of Ugin to the top. I play turn 1 Mimic, Mimic, Endless One, but I can't race a perfect hand of Wild Nacatl, Wild Nacatl, 2 fetches, Atarka's Command, and Lightning Bolts. I mull to 5 for the final game, but keep on 3 land and two 3 drops. He plays the nut hand and I draw poorly. Double Nacatl, double Atarka's Command, 2 land, Lightning Bolt, 2 fetches ... this hand seems familiar. After losing, I see a patch of 3 Eye of Ugin and 4 Eldrazi Temple all next to each other near the bottom of my deck. I mulled to 5-4-5 in this round. He had 6-7-7. Eyes can give me card advantage, but I rarely had 1. 1-2.
3-1-2. I'm pretty salty that I mulled like a mother ****er. But I guess Burn can beat a deck that plays nearly nothing if they draw the same hand in all 3 games.

I read about your successes with this deck FoodChainGoblins and I get frustrated because my record with the deck is 3-8. Your final match is how the majority of my matches play out.

I'm sorry it's been that way for you. I've had some decent mulligans to 5 or 4. In fact, this was the first time I mulled to 5 and lost. I usually lost when I mulled to 6 and kept poor hands, especially when I was first learning the deck. It's pretty imperative to mull to Eye of Ugin or Eldrazi Temple because these are "card advantage," usually being the equivalent of 2 regular lands, except they only take up one land drop.
I would say to stick with it. I've tried several decks before and had some poor variance in the beginning. I struggled to get 3-2 at an FNM the first time I ran Bogles and averaged 5 cards per hand. The 3 wins were real struggles with so few cards and I gave up on the deck. A month later I decided to give it a 2nd chance and I ended up having one of my best recent records with the deck in around 1 year of playing it. Don't give up.

You actually have a lot of sideboard against Abzan Company and Angel Feeder decks. The main problem probably would be oversiding and not leaving enough pressure to get through the sheer numbers of creatures they put on the board. For this reason, I would be hesitant to side out your 2 Trample creatures in Vile Aggregate and Reality Smasher.
This is what I might try - against Abzan Company, put in 2 Grafdigger's Cage, 2 Stubborn Denial, 2 Relic of Progenitus, and 2 Pyroclasm. Take out 4 Eldrazi Mimic, 1 Echoing Truth, and 3 Eldrazi Obligator. Personally I've always been siding out some number of Drowner of Hope on the draw simply because I don't want to get clogged with 6 drops. I have won many games without getting to even 5 mana, although that may only be my personal experience (and yes, I run 24 land and 36 non-land).
Against Angel Feeder, I would put in 2 Grafdigger's Cage, 3 Stubborn Denial, and 2 Pyroclasm. I would take out 4 Eldrazi Mimic and 3 Eldrazi Obligator.
Against Affinity, I would put in 2 Pyroclasm and 2 Hurkyll's Recall. I would also suggest having more than this in your sideboard for Affinity. I personally have a singleton Shatterstorm, which I like in conjunction with the 2 Hurkyll's Recalls. I would take out the Drowner of Hope since they cost the most mana.
What is your plan vs. other Eldrazi decks? It seems like you're trying to go "big" against them with Oblivion Sower and Relic of Progenitus. I am 9-0 vs. Eldrazi so far and all of the wins have been super quick wins. Many have just been poor draws, but my strategy is just to out-Aggro them. Rush them. I don't take out any quick creatures. I personally have Gut Shot, which is good vs. Mimic and I put in 2 Ratchet Bomb and 2 Stubborn Denial vs. UW because the only card that scares me is Worship. I haven't had one of those, nor an Ensnaring Bridge yet, but it will happen and it will HURT.

3-1-2. I'm pretty salty that I mulled like a mother ****er. But I guess Burn can beat a deck that plays nearly nothing if they draw the same hand in all 3 games.
I have played quite alot with the UW version and have had really really bad hands, often not opening with either Temple or Eye. Mull to 5 and even 4 on numerous occasions. That's the nature of the deck. You just hope that on a mull to 5/4 you get a 2mana land and nice curve. If so, you stand a chance to draw into a decent game.

Yeah I just hadn't mulled that badly in a long time. I mulled two slow hands in game 1 and then had a hand with land, Temple, Thought-Knot Seer, Reality Smasher, and a 3 drop. I scry Temple to the top. But in game 2, I mulled a 4 land hand with 3 3-drops. It was too slow against presumably Nacatl into double Nacatl. My next 2 hands had 0 land each, including a huge pile shuffle by myself. The last game, I shouldn't have kept the 5, but I was sick of mulling and I at least had a single play.
It was just variance. I had a lot of good draws during this tournament and others as well. But this loss where I couldn't play hardly anything in games 2 and 3 while he had the nuts just hurt a bit. My words kind of bit me in the butt because after someone said that he had to mull to 3 in a game, I told him that I hadn't mulled to fewer than 5 in probably over 10 years. This is pretty incredible for someone who is 53th in CA in lifetime planeswalker points, as well as being 200 short of 2 Byes for this next season (got until May to get them). (My point is that I play a lot. I'm a terrible player, but I play a lot!)

This thread is pretty slow now. I played a 40 person FNM for 6 rounds.
Round 1 vs. Affinity. I loaned a deck to a friend who is the only person I've lent a deck for quite a while. I've been lending him Rally for Standard, but he wanted to play Modern today. He offered me a draw, but I said we needed to play. He wins the first game after he gets a Cranial Plating for his Vault Skirge after a slow draw for both of us. I closed in, but the life swing was too much. In the next game, I kept a 4 land, 1 Ruination Guide hand. I drew only lands after scrying an Eye of Ugin to the bottom and lose. He offers to give me a draw. 0-0-3.
Round 2 vs. UWR. He does a Ghost Quarter and a Spreading Seas, but since he got stuck on 2 land, I play Thought-Knot Seer and he scoops. He plays Spreading Seas, but I had enough land and curve finely again. 2-0.
Round 3 vs. RUG Delver. He gets turn 1 Delvers, but I have many "Delvers of my own" by playing turn 1 Endless One in game 1 and Eldrazi Mimic in game 2. Both of those were followed by Eldrazi Skyspawners. 2-0.
Round 4 vs. UW Eldrazi. I mull to a 5 land hand and Ruination Guide and draw all lands. In the next game, I mull to 4 and actually have a decent start. But a Drowner of Hope and Timely Reinforcements end that. The turn after he played Timely, I drew 2 straight Stubborn Denial that ended up being dead. This was my first loss vs. Eldrazi. 0-2.
Round 5 vs. UW Tron. He does a Gifts for Supreme Verdict on turn 4. I rebuild and end it. I just get too many creatures and slowroll them a bit. I get there, with a Relic of Progenitus in play for safety. 2-0.
Round 6 vs. Junk Liege. I basically grind out 2 games with creatures the way Wizards intended Magic to be. All creatures and lands. 2-0.

Nice result. Really though UW Eldrazi should be tier 1 right now. Since the fourms are only updated when Ktken does his monthly analysis there is a flavour of Eldrazi that has fallen out of favour stuck in tier 1. I wouldn't expect to see much of it at the GP's this weekend either.
I agree. Is there a forum for discussing UW Eldrazi or is this supposed to be it? I've looked in all four relevant Modern forums and can't find one. It's entirely possible I am blind, so please point me in the right direction.

This would be good. Despite only playing UR since the Regionals (and having the RG and UW pieces the as well), I am switching to UW this upcoming week. I feel an overwhelming urge to run 4 Rest in Peace, as I expect an uptick in decks that this hurts.
As much as I want to stick with UR, I feel safer with UW right now.

Here is the new thread for UW Eldrazi. It'll probably be moved up here after the GP's.
I went 0-5 with my U/R Eldrazi deck at my local store in Tokyo this weekend. I don't know what I'm doing wrong with the deck but I'm bailing on it. It is pretty much unplayable for me, it has no answers to stop quicker decks like affinity and infect. It doesn't go infinite like CoCo as a win-con and the only answer it has to combos like Grishoal and living end is a well timed TKS. I'm going to try the U/W version but if that doesn't feel better, I'm cashing out on the EoU while the prices are still good.

This honestly sounds like a mixture of horrible luck and everyone at your store being completely prepared for it. I would give it another chance or 2, although I can definitely see the benefit of waiting a month until a ban and then playing something else then.
The answers are Spellskite, Chalice of the Void, and Stubborn Denial for Infect. For Affinity, Hurkyll's Recall and I run a singleton Shatterstorm as well, Gut Shot, and possibly Stubborn Denial are all good. The other 2 can be tough if you don't get Chalice of the Void on 0 against Living End (and it survives Ingot Chewer and Beast Within). Rest is Peace should buy gobs of time vs. Grishoal and Living End.

Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build)(dead format for me)Round 1 vs.
