This is what I've brewed after sifting through article after article on the different styles of Infect, I'm still working on the sideboard though. I tried making it as versatile as possible while still remaining as explosive as ever.
Mainboard Spellskite rarely feels like a blank to me and when it does it's at worst nice wall and the Wild Defiance made Burn spells a non-issue when I had it out. The only think I'm not entirely sold on yet is the Distortion Strike as apposed to another Apostle's Blessing. Between those 3 , they're the only cards I've found to feel somewhat useless at times but amazing when they come through.
Sideboard wise I got 2 Phyrexian Crusaders for some protection against removal and burn in some of those more midrangey games. Illness in the Ranks cause my Meta has a lot of Lingering Souls and token decks for some odd reason.
Can't afford the Thoughtseize yet but it's in the works.
I think there is to much cards that are going to slow you down. First game of best of three there is a lot of decks that you just need to pump and win. The times u need protection, vines and apostle do the trick. Wild defiance is a fine choice for sideboard, but i wouldnt take it. Burn is not a deck that have a clear advantage over us, and we can dodge some bullets with kozilek and spellskite.
Land wise, the only one i wouldnt put is cathedral. I played alot with infect, and the times that i used cathedral ****ed me good. Just by entering tapped i would never choose it. There are so much situations that drawing a "colored" land on t2 just win the game for us. I prefer 2 forests, believe me, when your opponent casts a blood moon, that plus one forest save lifes haha.
Never tested spellskite main, but its a good card on almost any match.
I´am playing without distortion strike, but i think iam going to take 1 rancor and 1 mutagenic off and add 2 of them, i get myself on so much situations that a pump is never enough.
Sideboard, Abrupt decay is your best card. I would go with 4.

I think that would absolutely put this deck over the top! Wish it were legal! As for Cathedral of War, I already run Inkmoth's, we can't afford to run that many colorless lands.

My meta has a LOT of side against infect, almost everyone runs at least 2 spellskite sideboard, and 2 affinitys with blood moon, so having a Swamp on your lands is really good.
Game 2 against affinity u want to look for those forests and swamps, because when u draw Abrupt Decay after Blood Moon is in game, you still can kill it.
Sideboard really depends on the meta, but i think abrupt decay is a must 4.
I run 3 inquisition main and i really like it.

With the current state of Modern do we think that Infect is still capable of winning a GP or PTQ anymore? I love Infect but I'm just not sure if we have the cards currently. I'm afraid we may have become a FNM deck. Would it be beneficial to cut Blue out of the deck in favor of adding Phyrexian Crusader to help with Red and White hate. Thoughts?

Hey guys long time no see! I haven't been playing much infect due to it not being a good meta choice with uwr and Melina being so popular but thought I'd come check in on the thread. I've noticed many of the primers are being redone and was wondering if anyone has spoken to mods about redoing this primer. If not I could certainly take a crack at it, I still have the original text file saved on my comp from when I made it the first time.
Of course it's not legal, other every one would automaticaly play it...
You could play it for casual game among friends i guess if they don't mind.

Titanic Growth if two mana pumps are your thing.
