Being more anti-bolt is great, but i'm thinking about losing the bell ringers and use 2 pestermites instead. I like the ability to attack and gain a little more tempo than bell ringer can offer. Or, cutting the bell ringers and use another vendilion clique and dig. Its 2 different paths to take i know, but just food for thought.
any side board recommendations?

I'm playing a Geist version of the deck as well, and I think it is very good. I often win without the combo, just by swinging with geist and using the exarchs/pestermites to tap down blockers. You can play the beatdown game, while still forcing your opponent to play conservatively and not tap out in fear of you comboing off.
This is the list I have been playing. Went 3-1 with it in my last modern league event (pretty competitive local meta), losing to merfolk only due to my own misplay of playing a stony silence to stop his aether vials, before cracking my engineered explosives to wipe his board.... I wasn't happy with myself after that one, but after making that kind of mistake, hopefully I won't make it again. My wins were against: Kiki Pod, G/W Hatebears, and Burn.
Here is the list I ran. I often switch up a few cards here and there, but I am feeling good with this list right now.
One thing I am debating is whether I want the bell-ringer as my 5th exarch, or if I want Pestermite as 5th exarch. The bell ringer makes the combo bolt-proof, but pestermite helps more with the geist beatdown plan being able to tap a blocker down.
(Also, I am actually running sub-optimal fetchlands right now using 4x Flooded Strand and 3x Bloodstained Mire, preferably I would run 4x Scalding Tarn and 3x Flooded Strand)

I run a similar list, and I run 4 Exarch and 3 Pestermite. Pestermites are great for tapping guys down and getting in for flying damage. I also run 3x Snappy and 4x Geist, but it means I'm running a bit less removal (no Helixes main). I think 4x Geist is pivotal for being able to go on the Geist plan, and you definitely want more than 4 Exarch effects because they can both supplement the Geist plan and buy you a win out of nowhere.
I've even considered going to 4 Pestermite over the 4th Exarch since they support the Geist plan better. For matchups where I'm aiming to go for the Twin Win, I tend to board in a lot of removal hate anyways (Spellskites and more Dispels), so the 1 toughness isn't a huge deal.

Gotta say your list is awesome, but how come you no longer run Kiki himself?

I ran him for a while, but I found that I didn't really need more than 4 of the twin/kiki effect in the deck where I am not 100% all in on the combo, especially with 4 serum vision, and 3 Dig through time, so I took out the one that had RRR in the cost since it was harder to hit in a 3-colour deck.
@Wildfire
I think I agree regarding pestermites and I think I'll probably go back to running him over Bell-Ringer. I might add a second one and cut down to 3 helix, but I really like them in the mainboard for both removal and reach. I was also running 4 Geist for a long time and just recently started running three. I haven't really missed the 4th one though, I see it enough as a 3-of to be able to find one reliably.

ever happen to run blade splicer with restoration angel by any chance in this deck? I've been thinking about it considering one adds another combo piece while another would benefit from both the angel and the splinter twin card anyways.
What does everyone think about Valorous Stance as removal over Path to Exile, which isnt very good in this meta? It can also be used to protect Exarch/Pestermite/Bell Ringer When going for combo.
What about also running Cryptic Command, as a means(amongst many other things) to bust through with Geist when faced with a bunch of blockers? Yes, we have Exarch as a means to tap down blockers, but I'm thinking 1-2 Cryptic could synergize with this deck's strategy pretty well.
I run Cryptics and love them, but lowered my count to 1 recently i'm switching to a UWR version for a more midrange approach so we will see afterwards. As for that card were nt supposed to discuss them until the sets been fully spoiled, but honestly for 2 mana it's a good standard card i don't think it will be worth the investment in a modern deck though though it could be worth a shot if your really set on it. Too much mana for a card thats too limited in what it could do if you wanna protect the combo i would rather run pact of negation.
This is a version of twin I am planning on making. My only concerns about it is I would like a little more burn in the main, but I think the list is pretty tight. I don't have a side board yet but I am debating some lavamancers and or some helix's.
Basic plan is to have a Geist beats with tap downs. Burn is backup with man lands rounding out the package. I decided to drop a path for a cryptic just because it can be a life saver. But more than one seemed unnecessary and it is already hard to cast. I expect to have wear // tear in the board as well. What do you all think?

Both Pestermite and Vendilion Clique have been bad in my meta as of late so i dropped all but one Mite and added in a MB Batterskull. I do feel the deck has just shoved Geist into it though personally i would suggest dropping one to go down to 3 which might give you your Lavamancer opening in a mb. What im most interested in though right now in your choice in cantrips. How is Sleight of Hand working out for you if you have tested it out?
I haven't tested this deck yet. I typically play fair beat down decks, but I wanted to experiment with combo a bit. I went with the two cantrips 1) because I think sleight of hand gets the card you need faster, and 2) I only have 2 serums atm.
Well Geist is a bit forced, but remember he is very hard to deal with for most decks. I use a lot of exarchs/mites for their tap down. Not being able to block Geist is bad news. If you used 2 fetches he is a 3 turn clock. I put 4 in because he wants to be the threat and all the while they are dealing with him they have to wonder about twin happening too. On paper it looks very powerful to me. I still need to test it.

Which would you recommend? Monastery Mentor is nice, but doesn't quite fit the game plan. If I wanted him, I'd probably just run the Young Pyromancer UR version. Soulfire Grand Master doesn't seem great with only 4 burn spells Valorous Stance would be the only one I'd really consider, as it's a great complementary removal to Bolt while also being able to protect Geist or Exarch/Mite from removal, but I'm not sure where I'd fit it.

I myself is intending to do back twin geist when FTR is out this week as well. my own current Geist midrange run 22 lands only but then I intend to up to 23 when I add in the twin combo and try to see how geist twin can work. Your list will be somewhat similar to me and I too have similar sentiments as well regarding fate. I will be trying out with valorous stance and as well as monastery siege. I would probably try a 2/2 split for stance and path.. I am kinda inclined to go less heavy on the combo though and load up more on instances so that it is easier for DTT.
I am testing a very similar list at the moment too. Where our list are different is I am running 2 helix and 4 paths instead of the demands. I also only use 2 colonnades, 4 felt too slow and I hated more than 1 on the board. Otherwise our lists are the same. I don't have a sideboard really atm. I was thinking about doing a transformational where I convert to a much more control build. This works well if they figure out that I am twin the first game. They side in to beat the combo and I just go to a Geist control plan and side out a bunch of the combo pieces. No idea if it will work, but sounds fun.

I also wanted to bring up helix versus boros charm. Helix is an always will be amazing, but in this deck it seems like boros charm is a potential game changer/win. In metas full of abrupt decay it saves your combo, it protects your Geist beats and it gives extra reach to close out games. What are your guys thoughts on it?

II'vebeen doing fairly well with this list recently and am 100% satisfied with the main as it stands, witch I might add Ihave never been about any deck iI ever played before Iwould rrecommend you try it out. My reasoning for more pestermites is deceiver exar h sucks at killing people and trading for delvers and combo fine if you jam a clique first, resto is to good to miss out on as it interacts well with all my creatures and with twin. Cryptic is good with geist and good with manana...you know what cryptic is just good and it it wasn't for resto I would play 3 it dose literally everything and even the tap is amazing when you factor in geist. My only real complaint at the moment is that i dont like the molten rains in my board but I want to hedge against scapeshift I may drop them and add another counterflux, wear//tear, and see one spellskite. Also I dont believe the new fate cards are playable including stance I tested it proxies when it was spoiled and would always have prefers izzet charm (practicly the same card except one is good vs delver and counters pod/scapeshift from time to time and the other kills ryno they also fit the same slot so dont cut paths for them or you may find that voice kills you faster than you thought. Lastly the gethhe's are not a budjet. Consideration red can easily be fetched with strand and helps play around blood moon. Lastly I recommend if you want to try my list you dont tweak for preference e then say its bad it I've tested more deciever less pester more path with helix without helix more snares no snares this is what Iaarrived at and my last 2 fnms (I have a rather competitive store) I drew into second last time without dropping a game though I played the guy to pass time and crushed him in 3 separate games. Trust me the list is good just play very carefully and dont get imatiant the combo is a synergy the deck takes advantage of not the main win con.

Maybe I'm a bit slow, but how does Resto interact well with Twin?
it let's you combo with pestermite/deciever by taping the angel blinking the twidle creature and untaping angel also rpetitavley blinks snapcaster and saves geist every turn, this is also obvious by now but it also let's you make an angel at end of opponents turn and untaps you with the. Copy and another witch can get past an opposing resto or colanade blocker.

I think Valorous Stance is better. It can protect your creature or act like removal. If Boros was able to deal 4 damage to a creature or player, I would definitely be playing it.
I guess what I like about boros charm is it works well with geist specifically. Lets you swing with geist when you need to. Protects your combo, allows the angel to sneak in for double damage and can straight give your deck a bit more reach with burn to the face or planeswalker.
This is my current list and SB. I am testing it on cockatrice with some degree of success. Junk variants are difficult because of abrupt. I am 50-50 with pod and have had some epic matches.
I think I need to change out the Cryptic in my SB for something else. I almost never side them in. Maybe Helix's or Grim Lavamancers. Or even just some negates.

I think I need to change out the Cryptic in my SB for something else. I almost never side them in. Maybe Helix's or Grim Lavamancers. Or even just some negates.
