My meta is full of affinity and other aggro decks. Combo is the second most represented with 12 post being almost non existent. I want to change the hemorrhages to Rise//fall when I get them. I already play 3 thoughtseize, 2 inquisition and 4 Blightnings main deck to fight combo and control.
@NavyJoe: Why Deathmark over Terminate or a sweeper? Do u side out BBE when u play Chalice of the Void seeing as its a X spell?
Deathmark gave me a T1 answer vs Blazing Shoal. I had already played that deck a few times before the PE and I needed a T1 answer.
I'm taking out BBE. It's just not getting there when I need it. Not sure what I'm going to use in the 4 slot though.
I'm thinking IoK vs Thoughtseize. IoK hits everything in the format sans Splinter Twin, Kiki, and 12 post. The 2 life is crucial.
I'm going to try Thought of Ruin and Life from the Loam MD to hit after a few early beats hit the table. This will destroy the 12post matchup and Blood Moon is least effective now they have Through The Breach. Same with Sadistic Sacrament, Now most 12posts are running 3-4 Emrakul's to improve the T3 combo.
I'm debating on Jund, MWC (w/ Thoughts of Ruin md), and Melira combo for the Modern Championship on Sunday. Might play Jund as a more controlling deck w/ only creatures being Goyf and Crusher. MD Slagstorm, Thought of Ruins, Blightning, etc.
Pretty sure you are referring here to the European version of the Blazing Infect deck, where it's still a narrow answer to t1 Glistener Elf. What if you play Dismember in that spot instead, so you can t1 hit Glistener AND Blighted Agent AND Inkmoth Nexus? Or do you fear the life loss in that match up?
Dismember could be an option. Definitely don't fear lifeloss in that matchup lol. Dismember would be good in a few other matches. Sure. 3 Dismembers in the board then
Thought of Ruins and Boom/Bust is pretty good against 12 post and fit in our colors. I think it's more solid than Blood Moon/Sowing Salt. I also use Sadistic Sacrement (but you need 4 Reflecting Pool)
Blackmail does not seem that bad against Twelvepost since it can hit lands...
it can backfire early game where stuff like this is most needed, thats the problem. if you're really worried about twelvepost i think fulminator mage in the main is a better strategy.

Hmm, Blood Moon sounds like it is about the best hate there is. However, them playing beast within makes it less appealing. I think a combination of both is needed. I run blood moon and LD to get there so far it been awesome.
THIS 100X!!! If you don't agree with this then there is no amount of logic that will ever convince you that good, non-oppressive, combos should be allowed. If you don't agree with it then just don't play this game, and you certainly shouldn't feel entitled to make any comment on ban lists ever.
I am considering dropping either BBE or Kitchen Finks for Eternal Witness
Thoughts?
I would take out the loams before I take out a BBE or finks, as a matter of fact I would take out the loams and up the count of BBE to 4 and play one more land.
I would also be intersted to know how are the ghost quarters working for you. Jund is a very color intensive deck and having 3 sources of colorless seem like they would give you problems.

The whole point of the Loams is Ghost Quarter. It makes 12post a simple match up. Especially with Fulminator out of the board.
I don't think you know what color intensive means, the only cards in the deck that require 2 colors are Putrefy, Blightning, BBE and Kitchen Finks. Color intensive is something like Cryptic Command, or Phyrexian Etchings.
Speaking of, Blightning is kind of meh. It is a card that is good against control, which is absent in this format. I would like Finks to be something with more fat.
BBE is a card I'm really undecided on. It can work great but it also falls on its face. If it doesn't hit lightning bolt or putrefy it really doesn't help that much.
Loam + Ghost Quarter has been amazing. Getting back a Grove is also pretty huge.

I tried the loam and ghost quarter, and I found it more damaging than helpful, but it is probably because of the lack of cloudpost decks in my area. Sorry for misunderstanding your deck, I always have the T2 picture of jund where you where trying to cast Putrid leech, thrinax and BBE in consecutive turns. I am still trying to make that mindset change from T2 Jund to Modern Jund.
After a bunch of playtesting I got to this list and I am contemplating with traveling for a modern open in another city near by.
I wanted to play the most amount of 2cc Creatures that would be aggressive to be able to have a decent clock against most decks. Kavus where originally dark confidants, but I never liked them in multiples and they killed me many times. The Baloth In the side board is just holding a spot basically but it helps against Zoo and BGx decks.

It seems like your deck wants to run at a faster clock, so why Finks over Boggart Ram?

Jund is a deck that works on incremental card advantage.
Therefore,
Putrid Leach is not a good card in this format. Your manabase, if properly built, deals anywhere from 3-8 damage to you a game. You wont have the life to use putrid leach against Zoo or Storm, or even RDW.
Dark Confidant is really the only reason to play this deck, because its the deck he can work best in. And you should really use him over Leach.
And after more testing, I really want to take BBE out of the deck. Any thoughts on a replacement? Preferably at a 3cmc or lower. Eternal Witness, Hellspark Elemental, Grim Lavamancer, Rakdos Guildmage, and Bloodghast are cards I'm considering.

I was testing a bit last night on MWS, and Bloodbraid Elf is still pretty amazing. BBE into Blightning is pretty crippling for a lot of decks. I like the Finks because they help regain a lot of the damage you end up doing to yourself via Bob, duals, fetches. Grove/Fire combo is aweomse as everyone knows. I'm testing a list I saw a few pages back; something along the lines of:
Still not sure about the playset of Pulses, but I don't know what I'd want them to become. Perhaps swap a Pulse for a Thoughtseize to help ensure a T1 discard effect. Maybe change to 2 Thoughtseize, 3 Inquisition.

(Bloodghast + Loam is sick btw.)
I took BBE out already. Just not strong IMO. You can replace him with Anamancer (whatever his name is...the 2/2 that deals damage = to non basics). Or you can run Hell's Thunder. 4/4 flying for 1RR is good. I think Lavamancer isn't good enough unless you run the Basilisk Collar combo. Then it comes good. Everything in the meta has a > x/2. I've also been trying Countryside Crusher (which is awesome)

BBE is as good as the deck you design it to be good in.
I agree, it's not that good in the current meta, but as soon as any given control deck rears' it's head around, BBE will be the best creature in Jund, when properly constructed.
The problem with Jund right now, is there aren't enough control decks to pick on, which is where Jund really shines as an aggro-esque deck. IF the meta is zoo and 12post, Jund will be hurting, since the required deckbuild to beat both is a bit polarizing.
That being said, Jund with rise // fall, should be good vs. just about any current combo deck in the meta. I think Combust is a great SB card right now for any Jund deck as well.

P-K fire is very good against zoo. At first you hit what every you can with it, and use it to trade your creatures with other creatures. Use your other removal for bigger things until you have enough mana to cast it 2-3 times in a turn then your almost guaranteed a win.
Its also super sick against elves and affinity.

I'm just surprised they can't be worked into the deck in anyway to make it better. I can see that there are better options though.
