I watched the 1st twin game, and i'm pretty sure that guy was just bad, he had peek in his deck. And i'm assuming the 2nd opponent was also bad, so I don't think there's much to learn in those replays.
The Melira pod opponent kept a 1 lander and discarded twice. Game 2 he mulled to 6 and one of his lands was dryad arbor. No need to watch that either.
Infect opponent was playing nameless inversion and sylvan scrying. Yeah...
He got 4 free wins...
New cards he's playing: Mana leak, drowned catacombs, spell snare, 2nd sulfur falls.
Yeah I find it even remarkable that he won a single game vs. the Hexproof deck. Must have drawn one of the Wraths. If that deck actually gets big, this deck needs to evolve a bit.

Actually he went 0-2. Typo on my part.
He also tried to consume the meek and only killed an umbra.
I am pretty sure that the deck will change a lot over time, if people decide that running weaker cards, that require more colours, mana, but cantrip, or are versatile is where they want to be.
The first turn discard thing is pretty cute though because that's one of the worst ways to use the best weapons to fight draw-go.
If one is playing with a deck that is almost entirely cantrips, then teachings seems like kind of a waste of space- doesn't it? At least not four. I have three in an Esper deck that doesn't have nearly as many cantrips as Wafo's and I get them too much at times.
I heard the deck folds to a T1 kozilek/seize tough.
If bogle is on the draw, then discard is insane. If bogle is on the play then discard is mediocre.
Also I just beat bogle 2-0 in the practice room and it didn't require them to mulligan to 4. It involves them not playing their 1 drop on turns 1 or 2. It involves them playing kor spiritdancer or dryad arbor and you having the removal for it (bolt, charm, helix, terminate). After that you can block a hexproof dude with a snapcaster and counter all their relevant spells. They only play 18-20 lands (~half are fetches), so it is very feasible that they can only play one relevant spell a turn. I also sided out remand on the draw as it is very likely to not do anything as their curve goes up to 2, replaced it with thoughtseize. That is how you can beat them in this 10/90 match up.
But yeah if they play a hexproof guy on turns 1-2 you're dead. Or if you don't have removal for spiritdancer you're dead.
Play tempest of light if it is such an impossibly hard match?
I remember all different kinds of enchant creature hoser cards being around- just no names because rabid wombat decks have always been a joke. I suspect that this is true for hexproof decks, but the hoser cards are still unknown.
There's a quote by Gerry Thompson that says this deck doesn't run enough red sources. I'm starting to think that's probably true. Wafo Tapa is also changing the lands around in his deck.
There's 12 lands that tap for red (not including reflecting pool). Jund decks run around 18 red sources, and they even have deathrite shaman to help fix mana.
It doesn't look like you could change much from the current known mana base, other than a darkslick shores for a blackcleave cliffs, and maybe a reflecting pool for something else. Anyone else have thoughts?
Way too many fetches and scars lands suck. Others have commented on the mana; Gerry T articles rot the brain. The dude needs to win some meaningful tournies and not be writing about decks that remind him of his rise to unwarranted fame, during Lorwyn, like control decks that have too many colours in them because design inherently hamstrings the older 'pure' control aspect in the game.
I am almost positive that horrible manabases are not going to be helpful when talking about aiming to make a strategy that has been on the bottom of the heap for so long.
Wafo Tapa is does okay because he is Wafo Tapa. The man knows how to play control, but this deck is definitely my least favorite of his. On top of a garbage mana base, it also has a pretty low power level, which is not great in a format where such powerful things can happen.
Every since I switched to Marsh Flats and the Sulfur Falls, I've had absolutely no trouble with the mana, especially with Red. I posted earlier today in the comments that I thought hitting BB was substantially more difficult than Red. The deck needs, realistically, 1-2 red sources by Turn 6. You could also consider cutting the Mystic Gate for a Cascade Bluffs. With the other fetches and the Colonnades, I doubt you really need the Mystic Gate, though perhaps it will make the Verdicts out of the board worse.
I'd say the largest trouble I've gotten into with the mana thus far is when I draw Tec Edge and a non blue source, as getting Cryptic up takes that little bit of extra work.
One idea is to try out -1 Celestial Colonnade +1 Lavaclaw Reaches. Not as good for defense, but it's an interesting idea and late game mana sink if you think you really want more red sources.

I don't know what you attempt to accomplish by bashing a player with nearly 200 pro points and more GP top 8s then Finkel.
LP, I'm checking your article out as well. Behind all of your swag is the brain of one of the most intelligent Magic players I've ever known. I guess that's one more thing for you to add to the wall of ego that is your Sally sig.
I can go with that. LK, you are the Mace Windu of red mages...cool, tempered logic in deliberation, but capable of just flat kicking tail when the situation warrants it.

I cut the consume the meek for supreme verdict. So I don't have issues with black mana. But i've kept hands that had all 3 colors except red and never drew red and died on turns 4-6. You really want red by turn 3, I don't see how you can wait till turn 6 to cast electrolyze or izzet charm.

That's a possibility but that's probably not enough. The deck probably should have 18 red sources though. If you don't have red mana, the deck can't interact with creatures unless you draw your 1 of dismember, or use cryptic and snapcaster for no/low value.
Maybe the tec edge is just too greedy and you should play spreading seas main if you want a non basic hoser.

Yes, they're all black:
geth's verdict
tribute to hunger
liliana of the veil
consuming vapors
sadly they run fetches + dryad arbor, so these edicts might be too slow since we don't have an accelerator, or reliable black mana
thought seize is still decent against bogle though
