What would be your recommendations for the SB in an open meta at a big tournament then?
Is GY hate even necessary anymore with DS decreasing in popularity?
I'm of the opinion that graveyard hate isn't currently very necessary for Burn. All the decks that utilize the graveyard I would say we either race, or disrupt with Path and instant speed burn (such as GDS).
After that, 2-3 Rest in Peace/Relic of Progenitus. Why? Gifts Storm and GDS, and Gifts Storm is trending up and will definitely see a spike in representation when Opt hits Modern. There are 3 spots left, which I'd fill with things like Ensnaring Bridge, Exquisite Firecraft, Grim Lavamancer, Kor Firewalker, and perhaps even Shattering Spree (because the part I don't agree with is dropping any copies of DRev for it). I'm willing to forgo Kor Firewalker and Ensnaring Bridge for Spree. I'm not willing to forgo DRev for Spree.
I don't think we need sideboard for Storm and Valakut. Those are some of the best matchups for us. Especially Storm. Eidolon is better than Halo here. Post sideboard they will likely go for Empty anyway.
They are two of the top performing decks in the format. Pretty sure we want sideboard cards. You can still lose good matchups. They will be boarding in hate and we need to match it. I follow this logic in all games 2&3 against tier 1 decks. I match hate with hate. We will win the game if they can't.
Rampaging Ferocidon! Or put another way, "dinosaurs eat Soul Sisters for breakfast" and "lol, empty the warrens, I dare you".
2R
Creature — Dinosaur (Rare)
Menace
Players can't gain life.
Whenever another creature enters the battlefield, Rampaging Ferocidon deals 1 damage to that creature's controller. All raptors are aggressive, but ferocidons seem to enjoy their prey's pain.
3/3
This card goes in the sb of burn in a known meta with soul sisters and b/w tokens mainly, but a strong card indeed.
Well there are new players in this forum and while you didn't suggest it be in the main, you gave a couple of examples in which it is good. All I did was confirm for newbies it is only for an established meta not something to bring to a tournament. Sometimes people take ideas and run too far with them lol!
This is orders of magnitude better than Leyline. It's not a dead draw outside of your opening hand, and it's on a body. I like it as a sideboard tool for Sisters.
Went 2-2 at FNM tonight. Between 6 and 8 of 26 players were on Burn...
I lost the mirror 0-2, beat Gifts-Storm 2-0, beat Thopter/Sword 2-0, lost to Jeskai Midrange 1-2 (flooded...).
How do I sideboard for the mirror matchup??
One player said keep Eidolon of the Great Revel in on the play, out on the draw. I've also seen take out Goblin Guide so your opponent draws lands rather than spells? Firewalkers and Paths seem a must?
Thank you for the explanation regarding sideboard!
When do we bring in Ensnaring Bridge?
I guess decks like Merfolk?
I imagine Hatebears not because of Flickerwisp?
What about DS?
What about Affinity?
A list or anything would be appreciated.
I don't see any situation where I'd ever side out Goblin Guide, especially in the mirror. The player who plays and sticks creatures and racks up the most recurring damage is likely the one who wins.
I always drop Eidolon for the mirror and I drop Atarka's Command since I'm still playing those. I bring in Palm, Path, and Kor Firewalker. I look at Palms as extra copies of Lightning Helix in the mirror, Path helps the creature control plan, and Firewalker is Firewalker.

I'd bring Bridge in against creature decks like Fish and Elves as well as Eldrazi Tron. It might be ok against Affinity, but they can move Cranial Plating at instant speed onto Ornithopter or put Ravager counters onto it after it attacks. I don't think it's worth trying against GDS because they can remove it easily, dig for ways to remove it, and counter or strip it from your hand. That said, Bridge feels awkward in Burn.
I used to feel damn near naked without 3-4. Now I almost never use it.
With twin and infect gone, it just doesn't feel AS important. Honestly if Kor Firewalker didn't exist, I might try my luck without it.

I bring it against GDS, ETron, affinity, coco combo decks... Basically if creature control is key or there are creatures that are too big to handle, I bring in path.
So I went to FNM at my LGS, for the first time with Modern Burn.
I finished 3-1 with the following MU`s:
1-2 Jeskai Control
2-0 Mono B Zombies
2-1 UW Emeria Control
2-0 Burn
I quite liked the List i´ve played (GP Birmingham winner-list).
What I am thinkin about now is, what is the reasoning behind not playing a basic plains? Aren´t the up - and downsides even with that?

The upside of a plains is not even with the downside. You need to be able to keep the occasional 1 lander, and plains would make some of the keepable ones garbage. It even makes some 2 Landers bad because you're locked out of t2 blaze and eidolon. Every land in the deck must cast lightning bolt or fetch a land that does.
P.S: I play 2 Atarka's SB because of lifegain in my meta, but if I could play something else that would help against UW, please let me know
Honestly I think it's just a race. Atarka's Command should be really good against them. Don't be afraid to use it as a pump, as opposed to holding it up for lifegain. Or even a land drop if it lets you play a bolt while he's tapped out. If it helps you not get countered, it's basically "preventing three lifegain". Graveyard hate wouldn't be awful, between Snapcaster Mage and Crucible of Worlds. Also, between Colonnade and Gideons, I think I'd bring in Path, although I'm not 100% sure that's the right call. Also, you can hold up fetches and fetch/shock in response to Timely Reinforcements, potentially negating the lifegain. You can also cast instant-speed burn spells in response to them fetching to help play around counterspells. Basically, go all in. Hurt yourself as much as possible and try to close that game out last turn.

Skullcrack and AC are important. Path for Gideon is important. Other than that, UW control is a pretty standard "bottleneck their mana" kind of game to me.

I've been running Runed Halo for a while, and honestly I think it's better to name Gifts Ungiven against storm (gift has to target XD)
Chances are if they have gift, they can still go off, and either go for Empty, or find an Echoing Truth
Also, halo is pretty good against Death Shadow

My sideboard is currently:
4x Destructive Revelry

2x Kor Firewalker
2x Rest in Peace
2x Shattering Spree
1x Grafdigger's Cage
1x Searing Blood

My buddy plays this deck and I almost never win, it's infuriating.
Here's my SB for reference:
2x Atarka's Command
2x Deflecting Palm
4x Destructive Revelry
1x Exquisite Firecraft
2x Kor Firewalker
2x Path to Exile
