My PC is down right now and I was thinking about getting into this. Before I sign up I wanted to know does anyone know if this work on an android tablet until I can get my laptop running
I got it to work on my Atari 2600. Took a lot of duct tape.
In other news, it's pretty much a PC-only game. There are emulators, and if you can run Windows, from what I hear, you're basically all the way there. Just don't expect there to be an Android patch before there's a Mac patch.

Had semenulative upkeep before it was fashionable. Look what you forced me to do, Wizards! IT DIDN'T HAVE TO GO DOWN LIKE THIS!

Like I said, I can only go by my own experience, which is now 18 years. Kind of disheartening when you think you know something and you find out that you're a notch below a low grade moron.
I do not. I literally bought a $240 PC laptop just so I could play Magic Online. I do not use it to go online in any capacity except to play Magic Online. It's funny, because even though the specs necessary for running MODO are like the bottom of the barrel, the laptop i bought actually can't support 1024 x 800 screen size, or whatever the minimum is, so some things overlap occasionally, making it hard to read triggers or the mulligan prompt every now and then.
I just like having a machine that does nothing but MODO. I have a Mac that goes on youtube and facebook etc., and if it worked on Mac without an emulator I would probably just do that, but it doesn't, so in the interim I am happy with my setup.

Most like Bochs. I imagine you could probably get a legal copy of Windows XP working inside the Bochs emulator and then install MTGO. Most likely it will run very slowly if at all.

Yeah, I did the same. You can buy some really decent computers in the $300 range these days. Heck, I'm using it right now I bought the computer just for MTGO, but surprisingly, it's not that bad. I've found it's useful just in general, and not THAT much slower than my regular PC.
Also, as far as I know, it isn't android that is your problem. I don't think the processor on a tablet is equipped for emulation. It probably can't handle it. You can try to find more information online, but that's my feeling on the matter.
There are Android/iPad/iPhone apps that allow you to remote into your desktop. I have not used these, but I do not see why you could not use these to remote onto your main Windows PC and then play MTGO that way through your tablet.

You can.
But the current client is somewhat buggy, and so you may experience display and/or input/interface issues.
There is also the issue of latency.
It can be done but the experience is far from optimal.
Splashtop desktop works great. I just tried playing a match of MTGO with my Note 2 but the screen was too small. I mean, I could play, but so much zooming in and out and scrolling to read things made it impractical. With a decent sized tablet though it could definitely work quite well. Makes me want to get a tablet for in bed at night, ha ha.
Splashtop HD works awesome on my galaxy tab 2 and on my Android TV box. Only problem is android tends to read a right mouse click as the return button and close the connection on you.
It also works awesome on my friends windows tablet. Which makes me continuously jealous.
I just read in the news today that Google published Chrome Remote Desktop, an app that allows you to access your desktop remotely on an android tablet (you also need to install chrome + an extention on your desktop). No idea if this works good enough to play MTGO on a tablet, but perhaps someone can give it a spin and report?

I'll try it. I have splashtop installed and have used it for that. So far Chome connections seem to be pretty solid, but they might be slow.

Out of the blackness and stench of the engulfing swamp emerged a shimmering figure. Only the splattered armor and ichor-stained sword hinted at the unfathomable evil the knight had just laid waste.

Cool story, bro.
Bot spam aside, there's really no good way to play MTGO on a tablet of any kind, to my knowledge (and I've been trying).

That company is more evil than most.
Microsoft RDP works better than anything else, shame it only works on Win 7 Pro/Ultimate or Win 8.
