I played Magic for only about a year back in 95-96, right after ice age was released. I'm thinking about coming back and don't want to be a part of the rat race of always having to get new cards to keep up with new releases.
Therefore the block format caught my eye and this is probably the only format that would interest me. I want to play Ravnica (2005-2006). Few questions:
(1) are queues long for the block format?
(2) are queues long for Ravnica, specifically? And would I just be queuing against the same person or is there a good number of ppl playing this block on most nights?
(3) is it expensive to buy cards for a good Ravnica block deck? I don't feel like grinding for months.
Thanks!!
