Hey I have recently acquired MTGO and I want to play on it but I do not wish to spend much money since I already have a good amount spent in paper magic and have some expensive cards in paper magic so I was looking at pauper, due to an interest in a new format to play as well as a low cost.
My question is what deck should I biuld for my pauper deck?
Information ordered by importance
1. I do not wish to spend very much money at all, in fact I enjoy cheaper decks more. I refuse to buy serrated arrows, costs to much on mtgo
2. I am bad at the control mirror
3. I like combo/buff style decks
4. Decks I have looked at and liked
a. green-post I like the ramp/land destruction deck but I worry about banning of cloudpost
b. mono-black I like the stealing life aspect but the unearth seems to be more expensive then playsets of many other cards played
c. Eye candy (this nivix cyclops deck) I feel this may be a good option due to the amount of nearly standard cards so those will be easier to get
d. stompy looks like a fine deck to play (I play infect in modern so I know a bit about when to buff) but I don't know who expensive it is due to its tier, is the most expensive card in it rancor?

If you hate control mirrors you almost certainly don't want to play Mono-G Post or MBC. Post mirrors are probably the most miserable thing ever and I can't imagine you'd like running MBC against the Cloudpost decks or mirror match either. Nivix-Fiend and Stompy are both relatively cheap and competitive decks right now so you'd probably like either. Nivix-Fiend is much more of a combo deck while Stompy is more traditional aggro so it depends which you'd prefer. Nivix-Fiend can be built for around $10 if you want to go really budget (i.e no Pyroblasts/Hydroblasts for your sideboard) while Stompy lists are about $30. I think Quirion Ranger and Nettle Sentinel are the most expensive cards in Stompy, then Rancor. None of those cards are at all replaceable though so trying to play budget versions of Stompy won't really work out in your favor.

It's worth noting that mtgo-stats quotes market value for a Visions Quirion Ranger. You can get promo Quirion Rangers for around 1 ticket a piece, so the cost of the deck is quite a bit cheaper

Stompy is a fine intro deck for Pauper. It's cost efficient and competitive. As its already been said, it's easy to play, difficult to master. It places regularly in DEs so if that's something you're looking for, it's a good place to start.
Eye Candy can give you T3 kills fairly regularly. At least in my experience. It's also a cheap build although I can't vouch for its competitiveness in DEs.

True, I did just that myself. Might have to dig around in the classifieds though, I doubt that you'd get a bot to sell them for that much (cardbot lists it at 3.9 to 4.41 between promo and Visions versions at the moment).
When I started buying up my Stompy deck when I started, the Rangers were by far the hardest thing to get ahold of. I think I paid 4 tix per. And I looked through a dozen bots, some of questionable repute. Eventually i just traded for them from another player
I would highly recommend to the OP that you just wait until the next banned card announcement, which should be in a couple of weeks. The format is definitely going to shift when that happens, and you shouldn't invest into a deck until then. Not everyone agrees about which cards are going to get banned, but most everyone is certain that at least one major player is going to get banned. So I would wait.
I do think it's a good idea to read the MTGO academy intro, but I wouldn't invest into a deck yet. Just get a feel for what the format is like, and maybe watch some people play games online to see how the decks play out in actual matches.
Stompy does fairly well without Rangers, as maindecking River Boas and an extra land gives goes a ways towards keeping the deck strong. Its definitley suboptimal, but doesnt break the deck. Also until the bans happen or note, your at least hedging bets that most decks run islands and the boas have islandwalk. Otherwise the regenrate is still effective against the field.
