Seal Away
+ not damage based
+ exiles
+ instant
- rarely hits non attackers
- Can be removed
As easy as it might be to list the pros and cons, actually choosing which ones to run is a bit harder. If you have any opinion on what the best options are, please leave a reply
It depends on your deck archetype. Aggressive decks are going to want spells that are proactive and hit face, so Lightning Strike is a must in those decks while less desirable in control and midrange builds. Some decks might even prefer Ixalan's Binding or Conclave Tribunal for their utility, and you'll definitely see Settle the Wreckage in Jeskai control.
I'm in love with Response/Resurgence. Deals with almost everything for two mana and randomly win games. I think it's pretty good in versions of Boros aggro that has a higher curve. This is the type of card that either half is unexciting but the versatility makes a lot of difference.
Lightning Strike:
+ instant
+ goes face
- not much damage
Lava Coil:
+ exiles
+ good damage
- sorcery
Response:
+ high damage, kills most things
+ has a win button on the side
- only useful in combat
Justice Strike:
+ Kills Nullhide Ferox
+ Instant
- misses defensive creatures
- intensive colour requirements
Seal Away

+ exiles

It also depends on what the meta turns to as well. If Selesnya decks hit it big, Justice Strike will be nigh-unplayable against Thorn Lieutenant, Militia Bugler, and Trostani Discordant. Likewise, the staggering amount of vigilance available to Boros forces out Seal Away.
Boros Angels I think it's way harder to figure.
