The deck aims to take advantage of early Herald of Anguish by playing many cheap artifacts and the potential combo of Throne of the God-Pharaoh with improvise spells and Aethersphere Harvester to deal damage without having to attack by tapping down the servo tokens.
Meanwhile the deck can clock the ground with servo tokens while attacking in the air with Herald and Harvester.
Initially I wanted to include some lords like Master Trinketeer or Chief of the Foundry to boost the tokens but it seems more fragile than using Harvester + Throne to take advange of the tokens.
Another option for a more aggro approach is using Toolcraft Exemplar as the 1-drop (over Map) but it weakens the improvise plan.
I've also considered slotting in Anointed Procession as it is very good with tokens and Hidden Stockpile in particular but couldn't find the room for it without taking out all the removal or making the deck's curve too high and awkward. Costly Plunder seems like a good card draw spell for this deck but i'm not sure if it has a place here.
Another option to top of the curve can be Call for Unity to boost all the tokens.
Anointer Priest and Anointed Procession slot in to make this a known powerful archetype. Map is a terrible card, don't run it. If you must trigger Revolt, Evolving Wilds does it better and doesn't waste a spell slot. Shefet Dunes is good if you want to win off of attacking tokens.

I agree with Lajube about Renegade Map. I've tried running it in the past for deck filtering/triggering Revolt and it IS complete garbage. Hidden Stockpile+Evolving Wilds are all the cards you need to consistently trigger Revolt on Fatal Push. BTW, Fatal Push is the best removal card in the format, and there's no reason not to run it as a "4 of" mainboard. Anointed Procession is bonkers once it comes online. I highly recommend you try to make room for it. Costly Plunder is a great draw spell for this deck and I'd squeeze in at least two of them MB. Call for Unity is far too slow to actually do anything useful. I fooled around with it in the past as well and the card just feels way to "win more."
I like splashing for U because we can accelerate our mana, kill opponents creatures, or pump our own creatures via Tezzeret the Schemer. It also gives us access to counterspells and powerful tempo plays via Hostage Taker from the sideboard.
I don't know where all the hate for the Map is coming from, I've actually really like it so far as it helps me hit my land drops (which is often an issue), triggers "revolt" and can also help improvise or be sac'ed to Herald's Ability.
The deck needs a 1-drop artifact and I couldn't find anything better (Traveler's Amulet is worse).
The resaon for not running 4x Fatal Push maindeck is leaving room for the 2x Battle at the Bridge which is even better in this deck as it gains life
(very good against the Red decks) and can kill 5-drops and creatures Push can't (like Hazoret) while triggering Throne.
Maps do provide extra lands but at a cost. You lose 1 mana this turn, and next turn you don't get 1 extra mana, but you do get a land. At that rate you're generally better off just having a land instead of having Map. I don't think you can cut 4 map for 4 non-mana things but only 3. One more land will be needed to make up for the loss of maps.

I think you meant Herald of Anguish. We're going to run out of demonic Heralds at this rate because I think the next one would be Herald of Sadness, which doesn't sound particularly threatening, but still.

1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
The Blue version is probably a completely different deck to what I'm building here.
I don't really like Bontu as it doesn't hit hard enough and pretty much requires you to spend 2-mana each time you want to attack and the "drain 1" isn't that good and Stockpile is doing the scrying already.
I'm pretty sure that the whole abzan tokens has been making rounds in mtgo and has been talked about already so just want to share the token deck I've been playing with hoping to get some more input on how to improve on it.
The deck has the abilty to gain ridiculous amounts of life and having nothing to sink all that extra hp into seems like a waste so I want to try out using vona in this shell.
Pretty straight forward, just create lots of tokens and grind out the opponent
The deck is also missing some card advantage, recently I've seen many decks adopting Treasure Map as a way to scry and later draw extra cards and I wonder if it could be good for this deck as well (and help with improvise) despite not having mainboard Procession to double up the treasure tokens.
Since the deck's main strength is grinding out I decided that the Harvester + Throne idea is probably not good enough and replaced them with:
4x Anointed Procession and 2x Treasure Map.
#Vona's Hunger looks realy good for this deck as well and it gets ridiculous powerful with the the City's Blessing.
Not sure if it can be a maindeck card but surely worthy of some SB slots.
#Golden Demise looks pretty good as well for the SB, and gettting it to be one-sided can be a big swing. Slaughter the Strong also seems like an option here (when Herald isn't on board) though I'm not sure if it is better than Dusk // Dawn.
The idea behind Anointed procession is to grind better against removal/sweepers by generating more tokens and not overextending.
It can also help draw more cards if I land it before flipping Treasure Map.
Not a fan of Anointed Procession in standard since it doesn't do anything the moment you play it. This desk screams "play Angel of Invention!" but I am trying out Radiant Destiny because it's cheaper to cast and can be cast for free with Sram's Expertise. In fact, half the deck minus lands can be cast for free with Expertise which I'm trying to use as a tempo mechanic on turn 4.
Seems like you guys might want twilight prophet in here.

If MTG is a part of your life, the formats are like relationships:
Standard/Block = The on-again, off-again holiday fling
Modern/Vintage/Legacy = Stable, homely. A ***** after absence/misreading
Limited/Sealed = Heart breaking free spirit
Commander/Cube = Agreeable, needy and expensive
Pauper/Peasant = Sweet, kind, practical, but shy and boring
Why ?
The damage isn't exactly going to be that good as the deck's curve isn't particularly high besides Herald.
The card draw is decent (Arch also helps with that) but not that reliable as the the creature can be removed pretty easily and one of the strengths of the deck is resilience against removal.
It would probably compete for slots with Herald and I don't think that it is better.
Alright, I've been trying and tweaking this deck out for the past week or so and I need some input.
I'd like to take hidden stockpile back up to 4 but idk what to cut. I'd also really like AT LEAST one more radiant destiny because getting the city's blessing with this deck is so easy. I went up to 3/3 of the black and white desert lands to trigger revolt, pump tokens, more removal, and more targets for scavenger grounds. Costly plunder has been AMAZING for card draw, revolt triggers, and removal tricks. But with the inclusion of costly plunder along with herald of anguish's sacrifice costs, cogworker's puzzleknot has not been as good so I have been trying a 3/3 split with the puzzleknot and servo schematic by cutting 2 servo exhibition. I am torn on cutting servo exhibition completely and/or removing 1 sram's expertise. In the place of exhibitions I could add more puzzleknots or schematics since they all basically put out 2 permanents. And I like sram's expertise because lets me cheat out most of the cards in the deck early. Thoughts on cast out VS. ixalan's binding???
The other thing I'd like to discuss is mass board removal. I have golden demise in the SB and so far it is devastating vs vampires, mono red and
token decks BUT there are times I wish I had fumigate, settle the wreckage, or even yahenni's expertise due to the increasing number of 3 toughness creatures in standard. BUT, so far golden demise + deadlands/herald has been good enough to deal with those 4 toughness creatures and gods.
Sideboard: Dispossess was not getting used as much as I hoped so it's out(it was mainly for god gift decks) so it's out in place for authority of the consuls which has been AMAZING. I'd like to add one aethersphere harvester to the SB but idk what to cut.
I looked at doing a similar deck awhile back (before Amonkhet's release) -- what are your thoughts on using Sly Requisitioner? It can come out earlier than the Herald, and creates tokens which plays into the Anointed Procession angle as well.

Well it only triggers on non-token artifacts and this deck is mainly token artifacts except for the cogworker's puzzleknots and servo schematics. I'd imagine it could work well with a full load of small stuff like renegade map/traveler's amulet, more puzzleknots/ schematics, prophetic prisms, and other small artifacts that are disposable. That could totally work but it might turn all of this into something completely different.
I'd rather go grixis and play maverick thopterist(which I did before this BW brew) before playing sly requisitioner BUT if you could convince me otherwise...
@D90Dennis14, so on your updated deck that you posted, why did you take out the aethersphere harvesters? Other than battle at the bridge(lifegain), how are you dealing with RDW? How do you refill your hand? Is the goal of your build to out-aggro someone with only tokens?
The plan is basically stall the ground with servo tokens and stabilize with Battle, having a couple of Harvesters in the SB is probably a good idea though.
Harvesters were in an earlier build of the deck which revolved around combo kills with Throne (tapping all the creatures) which turned to be not a great plan.
Another potetially good card against RDW is Moment of Craving though with Battle in the deck it doesn't seem as good as in other decks.
Meanwhile the deck can clock the ground with servo tokens while attacking in the air with Herald and Harvester.
Here is the deck:
4x Weaponcraft Enthusiast
4x Herald of Anguish
Sorcery (10)
2x Battle at the Bridge
4x Servo Exhibition
4x Sram's Expertise

2x Inventors' Fair
4x Plains

I've also considered slotting in Anointed Procession as it is very good with tokens and Hidden Stockpile in particular but couldn't find the room for it without taking out all the removal or making the deck's curve too high and awkward.
Costly Plunder seems like a good card draw spell for this deck but i'm not sure if it has a place here.
Another option to top of the curve can be Call for Unity to boost all the tokens.

I don't think that Anointer Priest really fits in this deck as it weakens the improvise plan by replacing either Exhibition/Puzzleknot or Enthusiast.
I mostly rely on Battle at the Bridge/Inventors' Fair to gain life.
I like Shefet Dunes but I'm not sure how I can fit it in, as I need enough basics to support Wilds/Map and Inventors' Fair to tutor up Harvester/Throne and gain life.
A potential change is to cut 4x Renegade Map for 2x Shefet Dunes and 2x Anointed Procession (or more removal) which might be worth testing

It has freed up 2x SB slots which I've used to add 2x Anointed Procession to grind out better in longer games.
I consider upping the desert count by dropping the 4x Spire of Industry and a couple of basics to add 2x more Shefet Dunes and 4x Ifnir Deadlands.
Would it be a good idea ?
The deck is also missing some card advantage, recently I've seen many decks adopting Treasure Map as a way to scry and later draw extra cards and I wonder if it could be good for this deck as well (and help with improvise) despite not having mainboard Procession to double up the treasure tokens.
Also, what is the best card to replace: Weaponcraft Enthusiast (3-mana) or Cogworker's Puzzleknot (only 1-token initially) if I add Treasure Map ?
Here is the updated list:

Ornithopter is also pretty much useless without Tezzeret's Touch (unless you count Tezzeret's Ult') and is a bad filler card imho.
Walk the Plank is mostly worse than Battle at the Bridge in a deck full of servos/artifacts.
Costly Plunder is pretty good but I wouldn't play it over Treasure Map in a deck with Marionette Master and Anointed Procession.
In Blue you can play Reverse Engineer as a superior card draw spell.

#Radiant Destiny is the perfect lord for the deck, not easy to remove like Chief of the Foundry or Master Trinketeer
and can easily trigger the City's Blessing to get vigilance.
It can replace Anointed Procession to make the deck faster (Procession can go back to the SB for grindier games).

Fatal push should be a 4-of. Drop one of your Radiant Destiny's.
I'm not sure Anointed procession should be in the sideboard. How does this as a sideboard item answer any other deck types??? I would recommend thinking about stuff like:
Sorcerous Spyglass
Ashes of the Abhorrent
Sentinel Totem
Crook of Condemnation
Golden Demise
Authority of the Consuls
Baffling End
Aethersphere Harvester
Lost legacy
It can also help draw more cards if I land it before flipping Treasure Map.

Sly Requisitioner doesn't fit this deck and Servo Schematic is just a bad Cogworker's Puzzleknot without a sac' outlet (basically just Herald in this deck) which isn't consistent enough.
Costly Plunder is good but I'm not sure I'm willling to trim down on servo-generating cards to add it.
Servo Exhibition is the most cost-efficient servo-generator in the deck, I'd rather trim down Cogworker's Puzzleknot or Weaponcraft Enthusiast before dropping this below 4x copies.
Harvesters were in an earlier build of the deck which revolved around combo kills with Throne (tapping all the creatures) which turned to be not a great plan.
Another potetially good card against RDW is Moment of Craving though with Battle in the deck it doesn't seem as good as in other decks.
