Regarding the control suite: I’m not really sure what I’m doing, I have no idea what the environment’s like now that Temur Energy’s out to pasture. I included what I thought would be some good burn and counters and lockdown. Waterknot is there to keep Gods under control if the sneak past an Essence Scatter. I know the Gods can still do their activated abilities, but I don’t think there’s any way for Standard blue to shut down creature abilities permanently. Would in particular like some advice about what to do about Carnage Tyrant. Right now I get to chump-block him and hope that’s enough.

There's not a lot UR can do about Carnage Tyrant. You can Commit // Memory the spell on the stack, but that's about it.
