Hey guys. So i really wanted to play shape anew BUT not the U/W, i want the fastest most agressive way to play the colossus, so i went with green, as green has the only turn one mana ramp into a 3 drop turn 2.
With the addition of green, it´s actually not going too bad, but i have a lot of trouble getting the trinket mage either early enough or at all, since im running the package.
So i thought, well, i want to keep green, and of course blue is needed, but i don´t want the mages anymore because i need it so search for the card to shape anew, and that´s just a lot of cards (trust me it is, at times i could shape anew an inkmoth... but i do not want to shape anew into a darksteel relic, i mean cmon!)
So i though that i could take the trinket package out, but the mana base becomes pretty awful, and that´s mainly where i need help ^^
So the deck would look a little something like this...
Once again, the main problem is that i want to play it with green but i don´t want to have to wait for the trinket, it just leaves me tones behind -_-. Plus slightly splashing white gives me at least some more options...
regarding some of the cards:
Autumn's Veil: very very solid card. really nice
Noxious revival: Just in case, pretty good actually with probe, i´ve done it a few times in response to a surgical extraction, i like it.
Turn aside: another just in case card. Pretty useful at times.
Razorverge Thicket: So that i can drop a birds or elves and have white mana for the splicer.
Problems i´ve been having include running out of gas trying to find the stupid mage or shape even with all that card drawing. And the secundary problem still remains, the fact that i took away the mages, made the nexus the only target, and it hurt really really bad to want to go off and see an untapped mountain or an untapped tec edge and a frekkin forest
I´m also thinking about a constructive sideboard maybe something that could involve taking out the combo and just adding some titans or something, since ramping into titans is not too bad, even though these colors posses the worst titans , the blue and white could fit in. Or i might even consider siding out the trinket package against red decks who knows.
You need more ways to get artifact tokens IMO. If I Memoricide your Blade Splicer then you're basically scooping since there is no real ramp in your deck other than Birds and Elves.
i have explore though, and i´ve been drawning some sample hands and 4 Razorverge Thicket are looking pretty nice =D.
I don´t want to run masters call too much though, only because of the fact that many in the deck is terrible. If you´ve played this deck, you´ll know it´s almost like, i don´t know, it´s combo... dig dig dig...and once you´re out of gas, you´re walking home...
wait, memoricide blade splicer? Splicer is like an alternative though... it´s an "either this or that" card not a "can´t be this because i don´t have that" card like mage and relic... I might test 2 master call max just in case...

Exactly. If I'm playing you and I see that your trick is Shaping a token into a Blightsteel... I'm going to take your Splicers. That way the only way you will win against me is Llanowar Elf beatdown until you hit 12 mana. By that point most decks have already won against you. I'd recomend looking at Eldrazi Ramp decks and toy with some of their ideas... if you lose your Splicers via ripping or discard... you've got to have something else to do.
The thing is, i wanted to not only use the inkmoths, and therefore use the mages but it just sucked so splicers are cool. I can shape with either an inkmoth or a splicer with this deck and not just an inkmoth or having to search for both a mage and a shape. But maybe i should add 2 masters call

I've also been tinkering with the idea. I saw you need 4 Inkmoth Nexus in for sure, but it gets tricky with 3 colors.
Next have Blade Splicer and Master's Call in there for more token generation. Lose the Trinket Mage all together. I tried that idea, but it's just not a good idea to go with.
Next add Sun Titan so you can get those Blade Splicer back in the late game.
And also add 2 Blightsteel Colossus so just in case they Oblivion ring your first one, you can come back with a second one
So make it mostly G/W then you just need that little splash of blue in there since Shape Anew only cost one blue to cast.
I hope I helped
EDIT: I see you already added 2 Blightsteel's in there lol

2x Blightsteel Colossus
4x Llanowar Elves
4x Birds of Paradis
3x Blade splicer

4x Preordain
4x Gitaxian Probe

2x Turn Aside
4x Razorverge Thicket
5x Island
1x Plains

1x Sunpetal grove
4x Misty rainforest

2x Frost titan
