So I think so far without pretty much any of Eventide being spoiled, Bloom Tender is a card that can find a home in a few different places. The first is G/W Aggro for a 2-mana boost to accelerate out a turn-3 Oversoul of Dusk. Some others are Scarecrows, a Frankenstein version of Merfolk, 5-color Elementals, and some combo with Umbral Mantle. This thread will focus on Dragons, because quite frankly, the most exciting play (if only to me) is an early Dragonstorm.
Because I tried to include to include Mistbind Clique for a Gigadrowse-like effect, the deck is bulging at the seams to support fast mana, Faeries, and Dragons.
It still can pull off a turn 3 Dragonstorm using Bloom Tender, Prismwake Merrow, and Cerulean Wisps. Or it can drop an early Bitterblossom, accumulate cards, Mistbind Clique on opponent's turn, and Dragonstorm the next turn.
So far, no counters or removal... And the Bloom Tender is the only green card. This deck is looking pretty ugly so far... Can you think of a way to fix it and still use Bloom Tender? Or is Bloom Tender not a good fit here? It should be interesting to see if the rest of Eventide helps it out.
And, honetly, Dragonstorm costs :8mana::symr: and Bogardin Hellkite costs :6mana::symr::symr:. These cards do better in a deck that uses accelleration, like Rite of Flame or Lotus Bloom. I just don't think this deck was well thought out enough to be playable. I would play a traditional :symr:/:symu: Dragonstorm deck.
This deck doesn't exist in T2: when Eventide comes into rotation TSP cycles out. I think.
*edit*
Yup, that's why I said 'think'.
Anyways. I don't like this deck either way, because of the random faeries. I mean, really. Would rather see a Devoted Druid combo built in too, and then just kind of ... see who can get the most mana fastest. [You have a lead because of your random 1/1's.]
my mouth is full of winsome lies -
and eyes are full of death besides
but luckily the soul is wise -
it sees beyond my blindness and
forced failure makes a better guise,
so as i come again alive,
it feels like life's a decent plan

I purposely didn't include Shivan Reef because the manabase cares more about the drops made the first 3 turns of the game, which are BUG. This deck has as much acceleration as the UR build but it just isn't red anymore.
I know it is shocking to look at and see so few red cards, but that is sort of the point. Bloom Tender afffecting the build, I mean. It makes Scuttlemutt both an accelerator and a ritual, plus a body. The Bloom Tender is an accelerator as well, so it's not as if the acceleration is going away. Red mana is not going to be an issue for this deck, and if it is the land can be modified a bit.
Well, I know you are a fan of Scapbasket, but if Bloom Tender isn't on the table it is just a really poor card for 4-mana. It has no real second usage, which is a must for any card competing for a slot in the heavy tribal-themed meta.

Elemental/changeling/bloom tender deck might work.
Elementals give you smokebraider, lightning crafter, etc. and ability to cast multiple colors besides red and green...
Smokebraider and bloom tender give you 8 total two drops that tap for a minimum of 2 mana, and up to 5 a turn for any other spell in your deck.
Changelings give you good creatures in multiple colors that can be both early drops or beef later... that feed the bloom tender, and get it up to 4 or 5 mana quickly.
Another deck I had in mind was actually red-white deck playing red-black, red-green, green-white, green-blue creatures... with devoted druid and bloom tender to consistently produce 5 mana on turn 3.

something like that... with next creature coming into play on turn 4 being big and hasted.
You should definitely start threads on new deck ideas. I think the next deck I'll do will be Merfolk-based, but if noone else does it I'll eventually move to some of these concepts as well, unless better stuff gets spoiled soon. I love spoiler season!
dude to make bloom tender work just use that scarecrow that makes itself every color for 1 mana...net gain of 4 mana

Might even be able to power out legacy weapon...
Play land destruction (boom/bust) perhaps?

Turn 1:
Mountain - play tattermunge maniac
Turn 2:
Forest - play bloom tender Swing with tattermunge maniac.
Turn 3:
mountain - play deus of calamity OR play soot kindler AND boartusk liege and swing for 7...
something like that... with next creature coming into play on turn 4 being big and hasted.
