I've been playing around with tokens and haste effects lately when someone suggested Devastating Summons for the deck, which was a perfect fit.
We know by now that this card can be explosive, but my deck can be almost as explosive if I don't draw it by producing many tokens, getting turn 3 planeswalkers and turn 4 Siege-Gang Commander and pumping everything with Goblin Bushwhacker, of course.
Its greatest problem is that it's not consistent enough. I can get turn 4/5 wins and outrace most Tier 1 decks if I get really great hands, but I can be stuck with some mana dorks and Dragon Fodder.
The problem seems to be that I play cards that aren't good on their own; maybe you see replacement possibilities for them. (I'd like to keep the "explosiveness", though.)
I also haven't decided on a sideboard yet, so any suggestions are welcome.
i was planning to make a deck like this r/g devastating deck, but i think a want to go the ramp plans so that it would not hurt much if we cast devastating summons.
