I finally have my Cube more or less done. I won't get to play it for about two weeks, so in the meantime I thought I would post few sample packs and get your feedback. Please indicate your first pick, second pick, and what you think the last pick will be. Please give your reasoning. Thanks.
Sword, and it's pretty much not even a question. Everything else is far below the power level of that card in limited. After that card I'd probably go for Mogg Fanatic and Rakdos Guildmage (most people would probably take Counterspell or Mortify as 2nd and/or 3rd picks).
Sword is number 1.
depending on the player, number 2 could either be counterspell/mogg fanatic/akroma/rakdos GM.
number 3 would be something from that list.
I imagine the last pick would be Biorhythm

I am looking for Date Stamped promos from Khans of Tarkir block so I can finish my set. Check my wants if you have any.
Currently offering 2 non-foil Kolighan's Command for a Date Stamped foil!
1)Brainstorm or the sword.
2)Boneshredder (Dark banishing on a body. Really? This goes lower? I know it's sorc. speed, and needs an upkeep, but really? lower?)
3)Color dependant.
1st = Sword, its not really comparable to anything else here.
2nd = Bone Shredder. 187 abilities, even on a fragile body, are pretty darn good in cubes, since you can often use the body to sacrifice to something like Recurring Nightmare, or bounce it over and over again to abuse the ability.
I don't get why Counterspell gets taken so highly all the time. It's a strictly 1 for 1, it doesn't deal with things on the board. Requires something like a Scepter to be outstanding. Nobody ever took Cancel high in limited, why take Counterspell (which is UU btw) so high in cubes? I only keep Counterspell in my cubes because it's an iconic Magic card, but from a functional point of view, stuff like Exclude are almost strictly better.

Apex : Or Mana Drain
Both are in my cube to support U control deck.
1st pick : Sword : very good equipment fits in every deck.
2nd pick Hystrodon : fast card advantage creature.
last : biorythm or razor golem will be the last pick, the rythm is a good card, I just don't see it being picked higher than 10th.
The golem is just not good enough. Sure you might cast him for 3 or less, but he's also an artifact and there are better vigillancers in white. also not just a high pick for me.

1st - Sword
2nd - Bone Shredder (because Mortify is two colours and R-Akroma is less good in Cube where there's good removal everywhere.
Last - Razor Golem. A 3/3 for 3 would be seriously underpowered in Cube and this is more or less a 3/4 for 3 that also dies to artifact removal. (In fact it will usually be worse because you won't be mono-White most of the time.)

Thanks for your input guys. That's very helpful. The land-affinity golems are on my "watch" list of cards to kick out. I'll have to actually play a few games to see if they deserve their slots.
Again, let me know what your first pick is, what your second pick would be, and what you think will get picked last. Include reasons when you can. Thanks.
1st - Bribery
2nd - Incinerate
Last - Seht's Tiger (You're keeping how much mana open?)
I have no idea why Wasteland is considered a high pick here. Looks weak.

1st - Bribery (This is like, RIDICULOUS against like, multiple archetypes. G/W, lose your Akroma/Phantom Nishoba/Pristine Angel. U/x, lose your Meloku/Keiga/Platinum Angel, oh, there goes your win condition. Don't even get started on Bribery for that Darksteel Colossus, that's just a slap in the face)
2nd - Arcslogger. 5 for 4/5 that burns for like 4-6? that's pretty darn good, even if it had RR in his cost. Incinerate/Wasteland/Icy Manipulator are all pretty good, but they can't end the game like a Slogger can.
Last - Djinn. I haven't ever seen this card used successfully yet.

Since when wasteland is weak pick O_o
I see alot of karoos in all Cube list in US, UK and so on, and wasteland is weak pick ? In my cube, wasteland is really ranked high, and there is no reason not to be. ITs good in any agressive strategy, it can be good in aggro control, in denial archetypes, and even in controlish decks. Its totally colorless, uncounterable, can win games with loam/crucible on its own....
1 - Bribery : if you could fetch a creature from your deck for 3UU and put it into play, you'd play it. Now what if you could fetch a creature from the opponent and in the meantime get a good look at his deck. Your opponent is also playing very good creatures...
2 - Wasteland: kill Karoo's, tap for colorless mana and kill treetop and other good lands.
last - Seth's tiger, I simply don't like the card. Although the 2/1 for G is also a low pick for me. I'd rather have a mana elf or splash a good creature.
Icy = Superb in cube. The creature can be really big like Sundering Titan or Darkstreel Colossus in which case a very good answer is Icy. It can also gain tempo by tapping your opponent's karoo's in their upkeep. I'd take this 4th-5th usually.
I also am not a fan of arc-slogger. And by that I mean i wouldn't pick it above 5th because it still is great to finish, but there are many better red creatures.. I have it in my cube as well, for the time being, but it's only a matter of time before I throw it out. For example Grim Lavamancer or Magus of the Scroll is much better.

Thanks again, guys. Your input has really taught me a lot. For example, I had no idea Bribery would be the most popular pick out of that pack; I was betting on Icy or Treetop. Also, I'm surprised most of you don't like Seht's Tiger.
My first pick : Rewind, one of the best counterspell in any cube, really powerfull in multiplayer games.
My second picks : HArd one : the 2 cards i love the most are phantom centaur and Birds of paradise.
This is a more "crappy" pack to me as there is no strong first pick. That happens with real boosters, so there's no problem ;-)
1ste pick : City of Brass. Why ? It allows splashing al sorts of cards and there's nothing decent to pick anyways imo. City of Brass probably won't table with the other cards in the pack, so taking it first pick will ensure you have at least that.
2nd pick: well, if I have DO have to pick something, the green cards are very good. I like Phantom Centaur, especially if you can enchant it with an Aura like Moldervine Cloak. Birds of Paradise is also very decent but I'd go with the Centaur.
The card I expect to be in this pack till the end is Blazing Specter, although imo Gruul Guildmage is not the best card either.
btw, no offence meant to you or your cube, this pack is just not like the other 2 above ;-)
edit: Neonico is idd right about Rewind being powerfull, but I wouldn't pick it above BoP ..

1st - Necropotence

Last - Indrik Stomphowler (versatile, but underpowered at everything by Cube standards)
Honourable mention to Phantom Centaur, which is a credible contender for the #2 slot.

None taken. I know not every pack is going to be fantastic. I also know that what I put into my Cube is not going to be loved by everyone. Lastly, there are lots of cards that aren't in my Cube because I don't own them (Power 9) or they reside in decks that I don't want to break up (Kokusho). The reason I'm posting these packs is to get feedback--positive and negative. Your honesty is what is useful to me.
