One of the drawbacks of Grafted Wargear is that you can't move it you your defender. This new Sword creates its own defender, and then you can re-equip the sword to the Wolf for a 4/4 w/ double protection on your opponent's turn. Pretty slick.
Probably going to cut Grafted Wargear for it. Not sure what to cut if they end up being a full cycle.
Do NOT cut Grafted Wargear, that card is just so bonkers. There are a ton of artifacts that can get cut before that one. If you haven't cut Mindslaver yet then you should do that instead.
I find it extremely interesting to compare the effects of this equipment with the other two swords. Compared to SoFI and SoLS, you're getting a huge discount on these effects. See for yourselves:
Compared to the original swords, you're paying HALF as much as you should be for these effects. Doesn't that seem a little crazy when it's put in perspective?
Ya we get two Tome Scours and a Grizzly Bears (U+U+1G) from this sword compared to (R+U) from Fire/Ice and (W+B) from Light/Shadow. However, I think the this blue effect isn't as good as the one on Fire/Ice. And the green trigger is on par (or maybe slightly better) with the black trigger. Putting this sword right in the middle of the original two.
When I see Healing Salve, I'm often like "Oh girl, I wish I could turn every card into this." Thanks they removed the gain life part, otherwise this would have been broken.
Ya, it's supposed to be a Mythic. Which is unfortunate, because I think this will be a 3x of in constructed... which is what they said they weren't going to do with Mythic. But I don't care... because there's one in the FTV and I already have my set reserved.

i think it's too late to be upset about that. what with baneslayer angel, and every planeswalker, and all the other obvious autoinclude mythics they've printed, i've been beaten into submission already where it's what i expect. it's clear that it was their aim from the start.

Ya, but there's still time to turn the ship around.
Mythic staple artifacts seems somehow a worse idea than normal mythic staples.

lol dude it's broken in half on purpose. exile target non land non creature permanent for the price of naturalize is still unprintable... for now.
edit: ah! ninja-nathed! the wtwlf strikes again!
Hmm I dunno, it's really just a naturalize that hits planeswalkers too. It's not like naturalize is that good anyways.
Juju Alters - Altered MTG Cards
His version hit lands too. At instant speed. For 2 mana.

I was meaning my version.
Juju Alters - Altered MTG Cards
naturalize is very good. making it a mythic that exiles and also hits planeswalkers would be an expensive autoinclude in any cube.
Both of these cards are already gone. =\
