meh, for what it's worth, I think Chrome Mox is a more-or-less valid pick. And I definitely think he correctly identified the three best cards to first-pick as Necro, RecN, and Mox. Picking one of those, to me, is a matter of personal preference.
I chose RecN as well, as it's far and away the best card (with hero 2nd?). But there may be a point about taking the mox instead. We don't know much about his cube, maybe...
1. He's not playing any signets
2. He chose to cut strong cards to help other archetypes, just the kind of person who would cut Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, etc
3. His cube might not be powered
In a cube without any acceleration outside of green, the mox may actually be the pick. Probably not with RecN in the pack, but still...
I'm pretty certain all three of those are the case, and I still think it's dead wrong.
This forum gets so offended when people pass Recurring Nightmare, its starting to become a weekly theme.
As I've said before, a lot of people tend to cube based on their own playstyle, and what works for them. He may not have made the pick that I would have made: Recurring Nightmare, Hero of Oxid Ridge or Venser, but I can definitely respect his choice.
Speaking on my three picks, that's exactly what they are: Three picks that I could have made depending on my mood. Sometimes I feel like just turning guys sideways and burning for the win: Pick the Hero. Sometimes I like getting all tricky on someone's ass: Pick Venser. Sometimes I like playing the deck that can just overwhelm in the mid-long game: Pick Recurring Nightmare.
We have the results of his poll. Recurring Nightmare is indeed the first pick... For 21,7% of voters. Yeah, that's almost 4 people out of 5 who pick something else over Recurring Nightmare.
I wonder if four out of five people know how to cube?

Same here. Recurring is the strongest here without a doubt, but the other two are probably second and third choice depending on what I feel like at the time.
Then again, I'm not very good at cube.
