Sounds fine to me, but let's wait another day to see if we can't scare up one more person, since we have 7 now. I've never drafted any of my cubes (real, Space, online) with more than four before...
The list so far is:
tomchaps
magicmerl
sexyindiancurry
Volcanon
Black Dove
stubobj
The unholy alliance of Phantizle/Konfusius, known as "Phanfusizlius".
Remember, the link to the spreadsheet is active, so you can contemplate first-picking Dusk Urchins....
Sorry, danskov, I just realized I miscounted. We are already at 8, although there is always a chance someone might drop out. If so, I'll send you a message.
The teams and pick order, randomly chosen:
Team Odd:
1: Black Dove
3: sexyindiancurry
5: tomchaps
7: Volcanon
Team Even:
2: stubobj
4: Chapman
6: magicmerl
8: "Phanfusizlius"
I will send a PM out to my team soon. Team Even should do the same. I'll give everyone a couple of days to strategize before the clock starts on Black Dove's first pick. To verify, please post your MTGO screen name here. Mine is Jellytussle. (Anyone get the reference? Brits or people with kids have a slightly higher chance, but...)
Oh, and since I've been getting excited about this, I dropped another $3 to improve the cube a teeny bit more. Here are the changes:
Out--> In Sphinx of Lost Truths --> Sower of Temptation. The Sower is less than half the price of Control Magic online... I couldn't resist.
Mind Spring --> Upheaval. Ah, a firstpickable card comes in. It cost way way too much, but it's one of my favorites.
Sangromancer --> Hypnotic Specter. (Sorry, the famous HotVampChick.dec from the last draft is no longer...)
Phyrexian Rebirth --> Catastrophe. Ah, a better wrath will help things, and a second 'geddon effect ain't bad either.
Conqueror's Pledge --> Exalted Angel. I was hoping to have an effective tokens deck possible, but right now it's not, so a (much) better card comes in.
Sounds good. How about you edit the OP to say who the teams are, what the rules are, and a link to the spreadsheet?
Done. I just looked over your analysis of the last completed rotisserie, and between you and Phantizle, you have an impressive understanding of this odd format. Maybe I should have split the two of you up...
Let me know if there are any other rules that need to go on the first page.
It appears so. But stay tuned - for one, it is not unheard of that people drop out mid-draft. And if this turns out as a success (which I do hope it will!) I'm sure there will be another.
And I'm sure tomchaps is up for some booster-drafts in between on tapped out, the problem there is that all people have to be on at the same time.
I am very up for Winstoning or regular drafting this cube in the meantime! It'd be fun to play some regular-draft warm-up matches so people can get used to playing without planeswalkers again. Heck, can anyone do a draft tonight, say, 9:30 PM EST? If we could get four that would be great, but even 2 would do... (Drowning and I played a 2-hour 2-game match last weekend, UB Control versus UBG midrange-control. I was at 2 life for a lot of turns, and won by decking him in a ridiculously complex board involving Keiga and multiple fliers, while I lucked into Oona-made chump blockers. Epic games, but it made me want to force aggro next time...)

No, really. I'm ok with being on the same team as Phantizle

Correction: You won via Oona. It's absurd how much better Oona is than Meloku. (and how so many people rate Meloku so high on this forum).
Ugh it was a pretty impressive comeback from my standpoint kiega pulling the stall till oona was dropped i could of played more aggressively though. I was 4 colors sir lol 4 colors. Ill be on at 9 for tonight if that makes 3-4 sweet otherwise i guess we get the rematch?

So, I'll pencil in Oona for your first pick in the draft, then?
I have wanted to play Oona in my real cube for a while now, but it seems too pricey for me (I play Nemesis of Reason instead, which is a fun card). I was thrilled to see it was under $0.50 online, and it's been great so far.
I have many theories about what makes for a good rotisserie draft, but to reveal them to my opponents just before the draft seems like a poor strategy.
Edit: I'm on right now, but I'm not sure what time that is in your part of the world... (If it matches the forum times then 9.30pm your time is in 4 hours time, correct?)

Chapman will try to make it back from a holiday party in time, so we are at 3 or 4 or 5 if magicmerl can make it.
I presume your secret is only to draft cards with a converted casting cost of six or higher; either that, or you'll only draft hybrid mana cards.
Uh log into tappedout then go to draft sim and get in chat and wait till the room is opened up. That is how it was done last time im not sure if that will happen this time again but i would think so. Also if im the one being passed to please feel free to leave the best cards in pack.
1. I make a 4 or 5-man draft at tappedout.net, you join in. If someone else tries to sneak in, I can lock it to you user names, but that shouldn't usually happen. If we are only 3, a bot will draft one spot. They have a record of where cards have been picked in cube drafts, but don't worry about color or archetype. It's not ideal, but it's not going to pass a Wurmcoil Engine or Sol Ring very often. (It hates aggro, though, apparently).
2. Once the draft starts, you will have 2 minutes per pick. If it is stuck for too long, try hitting F5 to refresh. After the draft is done, another F5 will show the draft results. There is a pulldown menu on the right that lets you export your seat of the draft into a .txt file. Do so, and save it on your desktop.
3. Go to MTGO, friend me (my MTGO name is Jellytussle), and open a trade with me. There is a Load Wish List button on top, and a pulldown where you can pick "local text deck". Look on your desktop for your list, load it. I will accept the trade (you give nothing), and then you go to deck construction, load the same list as a local text deck, and start building--all the cards will start out in your sideboard.
4. I will make a chat room for us, so type "/join tomcube" and we can all mock each others' bad decisions in semipublic.
5. After we play 2-of-3 matches and are done, email me your .txt file at tomchaps@yahoo.com. Set all your cards to tradeable, and I will open a trade with you and get my cards back.
