These are some of my most pimp cards cards imo. I really need a new mobile phone and I'd like a tablet too, so I'm toying with the idea of selling the mutavault. One of them sold on Ebay in the last few days for US$611!!
And here is a pic I took before making my classic cube. Having these FBB cards lying around (I use CE in my normal cube) gave me the inspiration to start a classic cube using them.

You could probably sell it, buy a mox, and and buy a foil Mutavault for $600. I doubt it'll stay $600 indefinitely. In fact--the price will probably start to crash once people realize their Champs promos are worth $600 and start selling them.
So a little backstory:
I collected and tweaked my cube since 2003, updating all the while, and acquiring foils and pimp when I could. It was multiplayer-focused, as that was all we played. But as every cube designer does, my goal became to foil/bb all cards in it. I made good progress. Eventually I had everything real (except The Abyss, oracle wording was just so much better), and everything foil that I could. I hadn't finished the bb'ing, missing most of the duals, and most of the power (with one or two other stragglers).
It's pretty untraditional, only English, and with a bunch of "fun" cards thrown in. Not much for aggro, given the multiplayer-focus.
Then came 2011, and I was buying a house and having a baby, and had moved to an area where nobody I knew cubed. And having $20k worth of cards (that could easily be damaged by, say, a flood) was just irresponsible. So, I scanned every card at 600dpi, and sold all the cards out to friends, stores, ebay, keeping nothing.
Then late last year I missed it again, so I decided to take all the scans, format them properly, and have them professionally printed, with different (custom) backs, for my use. I even had them do all my basics (all unique, promo, foil, P3K, guru, etc) too, to keep everything consistent. They turned out great, and while they aren't actually foily, they still have the look of foil a bit.
Now, lately I've actually been playing the space cube much more than my original, but I'll still occasionally pull this out and have some crazy multiplayer mayhem. Of course, it's not up to date (only up to NPH I believe), but there's quite a bit of nostalgia that comes with it.
So I present, the results of more than eight years of collecting: my Lost Cube. http://goo.gl/0Tjzf
A couple of new additions, unfortunately I wasn't playing either of these cards previously so I am still at 16 to go. Enjoy some Dark Ascension content! My girlfriend opened decently at the prerelease as far as my cube is concerned.
gipyls that is a nice idea. If I ever end up selling, I think I would like to have high quality scans to remember what my cube was all about.
I know we don't want to derail this into a market street kind of thing, but I don't think foils are going to go above the 19.99 that star city is selling them at. They are closing on eBay between 12.50 to 15.00. I cannot imagine Thalia, Guardian of ThrabenFoil is going to be hurting anybody's wallet too much.
Specialities about the cube: U tempo, B aggro, R slow-ish are supported. G aggro is not.
Currently trying to support tokens in all colors but blue, in different ways: W pumps them, B sacrifices them, R suicides them, G has decent-sized ones.

Man, that sucks. What are those things going for these days?
I paid 29 plus shipping, which I thought was really good. Retail is around 40. I cannot find another one in the same price range right now, so I will have to wait to get a new one I guess.
Man, that looked pretty bad. I never had this kind of problem with my online shopping before. Do eBay pay for this? Or is this "too bad" kind of problem?
I am pretty sure that this is on the seller to fix. I bought a NM foil. I am not planning on leaving negative feedback or anything like that, but I am pretty bummed about the whole thing. Vedalken Shackles is a sweet card afterall.
I will return this to the seller and we will see what happens. The seller is going to have to settle this with the post office I think, but the seller didn't write "Do not bend." or "Fragile" on the package either. I'm sure there is some kind of claim that can be filed, but I don't know.
I have a Foil Shackles chilling in my binder right now. I paid 25 in trade for it about 2 years ago. They got really high when modern was announced and no one knew what would be good in the format. (like 50-60 retail). I see they have come down some.

I got mine for $15 before Modern, online deals sometimes have really great prices. I felt it was very cheap even then. I'm thinking about two months from now I can post cube pictures. Only 34 proxies to go.

I don't really play much Legacy anymore (They were for Merfolk and NO Elves) so I may just sell them off to fund more Cube/EDH related projects.
Is their price jump due to Modern?
EDH Decks:

Still looking to pick up a Sorin, Lord of InnistradFoil and a Huntmaster of the FellsFoil
EDIT: To be clear I did not actually steal. Trading was involved.
My God! I need one too, soooooo pretty. I must have all of them.

...and these for a pauper EDH deck:
Love that Chosen of Markov...
Also, seeing that foil Gravecrawler up close makes me regret not getting the one at my LGS...
WUBR Breya, Thopter Sculptor
WBR Kaalia, Harbinger of the Apocalypse
WBR Edgar Markov, Bloodline Progenitor
BGW Karador, Reanimator King
GWU Jenara, Asuran Enchantress
URG Riku, Omniscient Wizard
UBG Tasigur, Mind Grinder
UB Grimgrin, Combo-Stitched
GW Rhys, Gilt-Leaf Warrior
B Drana, Defiant Bloodchief
U Baral, Lord of Counterspells
G Azusa, Seeking the Horizon
W Kemba, Kha of the White Sun
C Ulamog, the Mana Glutton
Thalia foils are ~$10 right now, I think you'll be fine if you hold out for her foil. Foil Messanger looks sweet with his fluids boiling in his belly.
EDIT: Nevermind, there was only one at 10, which I bought. I still am unsure of Thalia but I don't mind gambling on her.
